I have brought this new N97. the camera does not work sometimes when ever i open the lens cover the screen appears blank and infact the videos in my mobile phone also does not play, only the sound is heard. I have to do the Factory Reset then only it works fine and resetting it works for few time and the problem occurs again. I Can't keep on resetting the phone again and again it has the latest software update V20.

When open the 60 FPS video recording option, the camera app easily crash when switching the function option (such as switch from video to picture). is it the hardware problem or the software problem?

I have an iPhone 4 16GB running on the latest update (5.1). It is after this update when the problem occured, The crash lasts about 10 seconds and resets to the login screen after showing a black screen with a small spining circle of lines in the center. A temporary fix is to put the phone into airplane mode to prevent crashing however this is not optimal. It also crashes running other apps but only about 1/10 of my apps, so that is bearable.

Everytime i try and open the camera app it just crashes, it doesnt show anything on the screen it just goes straight back to the home screen. I'm not able to use the camera in any application either. I've tried pressing on the rear camera and that hasn't worked yet. i have factory reset it and restored it many times. I took it to my verizon store.

i turn on my nokia 5800. i can play all videos on the internet and on my phone at the minute.then whenever i go to the camera i can take one picture but when i press the back button it just shows me a black screen an i cant take photos anymore, also whenever i switch to video mode it also just shows me a black screen.whenever this problem occurs i can no longer watch any videos on my phone or watch any Internet videos as i just get audio and yet again the black screen. ive just tried a soft reset and no luck.only way to fix this until i access the camera again is to turn of my phone and turn it back on but this only fixes the problem until i go on camera.anyone have a solution to this problem or had this problem before?

View 1 Replies View RelatedEven though I can take photos, whenever I try to shoot video it focuses and then nothing happens - the timer stays at zero. My 1020 I'd fresh out of the box today. This happened both when I tap the screen, tap the video button, or press the camera button on the side. The Windows video app works, but I need to use Nokia video for the editing capabilities ( plus it's just better, I upgraded from a 920 so I'm not new to Windows devices).

Every time i starts the camera application or any application that uses the camera (like Google goggles for example), the phone aparently crashes and suddenly reboot. After the reboot, the camera used to work for the first times but about aprox 30 min. or less that the phone has been rebooted, when i try to start the camera, the phone crashes and restarts again.
I´ve tried to Repair the phone in pc Companion software and the issue continues the same.
When you are trying to take a picture within a whatsapp chat if you use the lateral camera butto it always crash. If you want to take a picture you have to use the light blue button appearing on the screen.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone 3gs is working rightly when i bought it. but now some issue related to battery is concerned and when i am playing game or using multiple apps the iPhone was crashed at even 80 or 90% batteryand after when i try to restart it sometime it starts normally and show me 78 or 88% battery ...but sometime it directly shows charging option and saw a red battery image and when i charge it after 5 - 10 minutes it starts and show around 85 or 95% battery .....so this is my problem specially this happend on camera and games. so is it the problem of battery or any parts in iPhone?

View 6 Replies View RelatedHas anyone else noticed that after you have shot a video while using the volume/zoom switch to zoom in and out that when you play back the video you can hear the clicking of the switch? If you use the slide zoom on screen, the microphone also picks up the noise from your finger moving across the screen using that method too. This is a major problem as you cannot hear what you have filmed when you play it back, when I took it back to the shop where I purchased it from to explain about it they checked all the other N8's in the shop and they too had the same fault. Come on Nokia you managed to be able to get it right on my old N95-00 without it making the clicking noises,so you must be able to sort it out on the N8, the videos at the moment are unwatchable as all you hear is click, click ,click where the zoom button has been pressed. View 1 Replies View RelatedI am having two problems with Nokia Camera on my Icon. When recording a video in Nokia Camera. I have found that it isn't recording sound.When recording a video in Nokia Camera, it takes about 5 seconds after hitting the record button for it to actually start recording.
I am not sure how to replicate the issue because it has only happened a few times and it will fix itself by restarting the phone.
When it does happen it will happen every time I record a video through Nokia Camera until a reboot. I at least now figured out that if I hit record and there is a delay between it actually starting to record, then the sound will not be recorded so a restart is necessary.
I can still record through the WP camera app and audio will be recorded, but this is a huge problem for me. I have about 5 videos that I have taken in the past week that were actually pretty important that have no sound now.
I uninstalled Nokia Camera and reinstalled and it still did it. Is this a Nokia Camera bug or an Icon bug?

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I cracked my screen, changed it with OEM new parts, and worked great for weeks after the installation.Now, I'm having camera issues, back camera works fine, but when you switch to front facing camera the app freezes and crashes, and I get cant connect to camera black screen, and at this point the back camera wont work either, if you restart and clear data on camera app the back camera works again, but front facing will never work.I;m running stock rooted but I've had this issue with rooted custom roms and stock unrooted. I'm not sure if this is related to the screen change or not, but it worked great for weeks after the screen change. and, I;m having the same issue with other camera apps too, no snap chat installed nor any other apps that could conflict.

If I use my video camera the image gets to be stuck every 5 seconds, when I watch the video on my pc or even on the E72, the sound is good but the images are most of the time mixed up or stuck...
also: when i put up a connection like making a call or browsing on the internet, the time it takes to connect to the server is ALOT longer...the camera and the connection worked a bit better before the firmware update...(BTW this is my first bad xp with Nokia, normally a business phone is close to bug free. This is close to no-wurth-selling...)
If I shoot some video, I cannot access that new footage until I have rebooted and if I try it stops any of the video being playable until a reboot occurs.
View 14 Replies View RelatedJust got my phone and it is completely stock. When using the video camera and switching between slow-motion modes (normal, 120 FPS & 240 FPS) the camera app crashes and I get the error message "Can't connect to the camera".
Then the camera wont work, no matter the app I use, that uses the camera. After a reboot it works again though.
Sometimes it crashes the first time I've changed the mode to 240, sometimes after cycling through the modes a bit, but it always happen and it wont many cycles (1-3). I've recorded functional 240 FPS videos, so that part works.
I've tried starting the phone in safe mode and deleting cache partition, with the same result.
There are others with the same problem, but it doesn't seem to be a common error. Is it a software problem or hardware, and is RMA the only option?
