My Iphone 4s was working fine and now I can't get the email to update. I have deleted my account and it still isn't working. Everything else internet wise is working, just not the email.
All my email contents are blank since the recent I did 2 days ago on my iphone 4s. Tried restarting, at present I am resetting it to factory settings with hope of fixing the problem.
After moving to iOS 8.1.2 on my iPhone email will not update. I've tried deleting the account and setting it up again but I just get an error message and so I can't set up the account.Â
I have a Galaxy s5. I have yahoo email and have synced my phone to my yahoo email account. My question is does the email on my phone update if the email ap is not open and active? if the email ap is closed will new emaits show up in the notification window?Or does updates and notifications only happen when the email ap is open on the phone?
My Iphone is not automatically updating my Yahoo email unless I go in and manually refresh. Sometimes it does, and sometimes it does not. Verizon has deleted and readded my email account many times. It notifies me for a few hours, and then stops. Then, it will start again. My husband's works fine, and I have matched his settings.
My company exchange email was working perfectly, but suddenly stop , i don't know is due of the iPhone upgrade or as well my company upgrade to exchange to 2010 When i enter my account it's verifying my credentiality, but can't receive or send emails, always failure to connect to the server While outlook is working perfectly in my home network same network my iPhone is connected.
After upgrading to ios5.1 my phone takes a very long time trying to connect to my email servers, check for new mail, and to update email status. After deleting emails, the Mailboxes window often takes a very long time updating status to reflect the emails as read.
This process used take no time at all, but now simply connecting to the servers after selecting the Mail icon can take 30+ seconds. Also, when it indicates the email boxes as updated, the spinning clock icon at the top status bar is still going.
I went into the Appleid and updated the email address there. The problem?? Icloud on my Iphone 4! It does not allow you to change the User ID in settings! I've tried going to store and sign out and sign back in. Did not work!
I'm trying to update my apps on my iPhone but it keeps asking for the sign in details for an email address that no longer exists. I have checked that app store is signed in to my current email address, it is, but as soon as I click Update it asks for the password to an old email address. It doesn't even recognise the password that used to be associated with that address.
I updated my Bold 9650 from Verizon last night. Today I am unable to validate an email address that worked fine before. It is also not possible to delete or add email accounts.
I have just updated my 5800. It works much better now but the email has gone from the homescreen. I have checked the settings and this says it should be there. Any ideas?
After updating OS Software on my Bold 9650, I am promted to go to the Setup Wizard to setup my email account. At the Email Account Activation Screen, I am prompted to typen in the passwords for each of my email accounts. When I do this, I get the message "Sorry, unable to continue your session. Please log in again". I have verified that the passwords are correct. Not sure what to do next.
I updated my BB Curve 9330 last night to the new system. I orginally had 3 emails on my device but now it will only show 1 and when I go to verify my other emails it doesn't work. It keeps saying that it cannot connect and to try again later. I've tried several times and it keeps coming up with the same error message. I did a try and redownload the software but it still doesn't work. Does anyone have any suggestions? I really need to get to my emails.
After the update downloaded and while my two email accounts linked to my Blackberry still show up under email setup (under setup icon), I'm no longer getting emails. One email (gmail) icon shows up on my main screen but my other email acccount icon is gone. I thought I'd setup my emails again but when I go into email setup, both account addresses are there and both asking for a password (?). I even tried to change the password but, when I use the help instructions how to do this, there is no menu items for what the help suggests I try. I can't even delete the email addresses to try again.
Using the blackberry desktop software, I just updated to:6.0 Bundle 3049 v6.0.0.706 and Platform 6.6.0.246 Once completed, I can not get my email on my account to work. I try to go into Setup but it's saying that it can't open the email setup application and to contact my wireless provider. At the moment I can only use the Wi-Fi connection and don't have access to a mobile signal.I can access the internet, twitter, and facebook, but can not get or send messages through my email account setup on the phone.
So i finally got the update yesterday and ever since i cant access my email acount from my phone from either the standerd email app that comes with the phone or an app i've downloaded from the market, both apps are telling me that either my password or username is incorrect,which is wrong cos i've tried it multiple times and even tried after resetting my password!
I received the latest lollipop update and have since not been able to update my emails without turning my phone off and back on. Sometimes it will work for about 8 hours and then it stops working again. I have deleted and reinstalled the standard email app, cleared caches, and dumped all downloaded apps as well as starting in safe mode, debug mode. I am hesitant to factory reset, but will if there is no other option. Verizon is my carrier.
I just got my Xperia x10 mini pro today and so far I have noticed that my email doesn't update itself, I have to do it manually but it seems like the phone should be able to do that. I use a hotmail account on my phone and I would like to know if the email can update itself, if I have to wait for 2.1 to have this problem resolved or if it's just something that I'm missing. And sometimes the phone will say "Does not connect" when I do try to update it but it hasn't done it in the last few hours. In addition, there isn't any change in my real email account. I could read an email on my phone and still half an hour later that very same email will be considered new and unread.
Post update version081.003, all my emails have stopped working. Also i am unable to setup any new email account. a message pops up showing- "unable to create mailbox". i have also done the hard reset and restore factory settings,still no success. its very sad to see nokia updates tend to create more problems then solving them. is there any way to install the previous software version?
After my N700 updated the software to ver 112.010.1404 , my email is now gone & when I tried to open it , the system hang with a blank screen ! I have already tried the "remove the battery & wait 10 mins before putting it back" a few times but no differents
Just got an email from RIM saying there's a software update for the Torch. Did anyone else get this?.......what exactly is it? I'm on 6.0.0.161. The ONLY issue I have is no spell check when entering text on web pages (ie..CB wap, etc..) When I try to update, DM shows my software version as 6.0.0.161 and 6.0.0.141 is recommended.
