IPhone :: Wrong Apple ID Showing In "Update Apps"?
May 30, 2012I had my mother-in-law reset her password as she has not been able to log into her iTunes for quite some time. After we reset apple id, we changed it in settings>store and it took it just fine. It accepted the new id/password in the setting and online; however, we then tried to update iPhone but it doesn't show the correct apple id/email address in the "updated apps" pop up screen, but shows up correctly in settings>store.

Jun 6, 2012I have 209 apps in my itunes store but in my iphone it shows only 176, some apps are not shows in my phone even with sync, I can see them not highlighted in my istore, in my phone ther is 11 screen with 16 apps in each one so total of 176 app, is it the maximum screens in the phone 11 ??

Jun 9, 2012I deleted an old email address from my iPhone and added a new account. The phone is pulling the new account's information. Tunes is worrying me, though. In my iTunes settings for my iPhone, under the "info" tab and in the "sync mail accounts" section, my previous email address is used for the server name.
So it says:
Gmail (IMAP:oldaddress@imap.gmail.com)
Instead of:
Gmail (IMAP:newaddress@imap.gmail.com)

Mar 23, 2012My step son has been doing something to my husband's phone and somehow his apple id/email address is displayed when trying to update apps through the phone. I've looked at most settings and our proper apple id is still in there in every other spot its meant to be, except when trying to update apps.

Apr 29, 2012For some time now when I try to update apps on my iPhone 4 the Apple ID it shows upon choosing to update an app is not my ID. The ID shown slings to another family member with an iPhone who uses the same Mac desktop (and thus iTunes) as I do. Another person asked this question but it wasn't answered. I tried signing out of app store in my iPhone settings (by the way, it said my apple ID was being used. By my phone!) and then signing back in with my apple ID, but that didn't work either--it stil asks for the password for the other apple ID when I try to update.

May 14, 2015Why does the gmail app icon always show 99+ and the email icon always shows 30 emails even after I clean up my mailboxes and know for sure that I have 0 unread emails? Is there a fix for this? When I was on ios as soon as I had all emails read the counts from the app icons used to disappear.

Jun 7, 2012When i bought my iphone i kept my old number for ease but when i have synced to itunes it is showing the number given with the phone which has never before been a problem but now i have updated to 5.1 it is causing a problem with imessages as it is sending them to other iphones as my original iphone number causing people to think i had changed number. I have disabled i messages for now until i can fix. my itunes account has my number i use so not sure what to do next?

Dec 10, 2014This problem began yesterday after synching. I Have a iPhone 6 128gb.Â
when looking at my storage, I have used 49gb for music, and around 5BG for photos/apps/videos. So, you can say in total I have consumed around 54gb, which should leave me with a healthy 60gb or so. My phone is saying I only have 9gb left?! Â
In iTunes the bar along the bottom which shows a breakdown of your storage shows over 50gb being used by 'other', when this is definitely not the case!!Â

Sep 10, 2014I plugged my iphone 5s in to itunes and for a minute, it wouldn't let me do much. Then I noticed, once it was done doing whatever it was, that some albums were wrong. For example, Ain't It Fun by Paramore shows the Backstreet Boys album. As Long As You Love Me by Backstreet Boys shows Katy Perry, Black Balloon by The Goo Goo Dolls shows Nelly's Just A Dream.Â
This is the second time this has happened. Last time, I just deleted the songs and redownloded them, which did work, but this time there are way too many messed up. Plus, I'd rather know what's going on so it doesn't happen again.Â

Jun 24, 2010wondering if someone can help. here is a quick breakdown of events. received my new iphone 4 yesterday. went to store to have number ported. since i live in vegas and i have an ohio number, they had to switch the temporary las vegas number to a temporary ohio number and then had my number ported.
everything works fine except i am unable to use the visual voicemail. it says voicemail unavailable, unable to connect, when i try to log on.
Also, when i make facetime calls, my number shows up on the other persons caller id as the las vegas temporary number and not my actual number.
tried calling carrier last night, they were unable to help, so i have no idea what to do?

Nov 19, 2015My boss Frank has an HTC One M9. We had a colleague Brian whos number was saved on Franks phone. Brian has now left the company and the phone was given to his replacement Paul.
Frank has change the contact in his phone from Brian to Paul. When Paul calls Frank it still shows as Brian. I have check on the phone and can't find any trace of Brian. We use IBM Notes for email/contact which is synced to Franks phone and there is no longer any contact in IBM Notes relating to Frank.

Mar 9, 2010When I access the call log from the main screen, highlight a call and select view history, the date displays wrong. Even if I just made a call, hang up and view the log, it shows the date as the next day. Example: Made a few calls last night (Mar 08), then had to report date and time; after all calls made, viewed call log to get times and showed calls made on Mar 09. However, if I go to Messages / View Folder / Phone Call Logs, the dates are showed correctly. Any idea why this is?
