I am not seeing apps to be updated in Marketplace, I need to manually visit the app and then tap on "update" button, if I came to know that there is an update for it. I am using Lumia 920 on AT&T. What's worng with that phone? This is my second replacement from Nokia!

When I try to install software updates, the progress bar is stuck at 0%. I also can't install apps, which are stuck on 0.1mb. I was on build .0 and hard restetted, still same issue. I used the recovery tool to go to 1511 still same issue. I also got an "not enough storage" message although there is nothing installed on the phone.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAny time I try to download apps or update them they won't install and I get the same error message: "We're having trouble installing the app..." It says to try updating my phone but my phone is already updated. I don't know what to do. Someone suggested a factory reset and I did and I lost everything because I thought I had it backed up to my SD.
None of my pictures will show up either and when I take new ones they are pixelated and different colors.
I'm experiencing troubles with my new Lumia 950. During migration, a few apps installed, but still about 50 are pending and the download is stuck. Downloading the OS update is also stuck at 0%. The internet access is fine, I can browse web through IE.
View 3 Replies View RelatedJust switched from a Lumia 920 on WP 8 and I could at least dl most apps and get updates over cellular. With the 950 all updates and even installing new apps want wifi. My work pays for unlimited plan so I don't want wait for wifi.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI did not restore from backup, instead I did a clean install and downloaded all my apps again. The phone is faster and far less buggy.
Unfortunately, apps "disappear". Vine was installed, signed in, and pinned to the Start screen. Now it is a blank tile. In the app list I see the Vine app but the icon is just a black square. If I click on it I get a black screen that says "Resuming...".
I'm not getting any app update notifications. If I need to update an app, I have to find it in the store first, then it'll appear in the "App Updates". This poses a problem as I won't get any new updates for apps that don't show under the store. Apps like Network+ won't show updates.
View 3 Replies View RelatedOVI "my selections" (or my stuff, whatever the name in Engish) is showing some of the SW I downloaded, but not all of them. In particular, most of the games I downloaded for free in July to NOkia special offer (Summer gaming or stg like that) are not showing up, neither on the phone, nor on the website.
Weird enough, if I have ovi store up&running on the phone and if I go to each of these game in ovi store, it says "installed" and "launch" and if I launch (it works) then look back in ovi store, it appears in Mu Selection list. But as soon as I step out ovi and get back again, it does not show anymore..
Is it normal behavior ? (weird..) In case I want to temporarily uninstall or if I need to do hard reset of phone) some of these games that I got for free to "July only" offer, does it mean I won't be able to download them for free again ?
NB: I tried to uninstall OVI store, but got the "uninstalled cancelled" message.. I updated to Anna last week, but I can't remember if all apps were showing in my selection beforehands.
it shows double-2 files in music player. My second problem is when I download any game or app to it & try to move them to any folder of memory card. It says name already exists or name already exists in target folder 1, 2 or any other, it's not memory card issue. i think the problem is in it is memory card reader or any other software problem.

After we reset apple id, we changed it in settings>store and it took it just fine. It accepted the new id/password in the setting and online; however, we then tried to update iPhone but it doesn't show the correct apple id/email address in the "updated apps" pop up screen, but shows up correctly in settings>store.

have entered all birthday in contact details and they have shown up in calendar. about half of them are actually showing up in the calendar the day before the actual day entered in contacts. how to fix??

I did a partial restore using the Nokia Suite, selecting only the "Device settings an applications" content (I wanted to restore a theme that I wasn't able to download again without purchasing a second time). The restoral was successful and I have the theme back. The problem is that several other themes that I no longer want were also put back on my N8. I go to Settings>Application manager>Installed apps, however none of the restored themes are listed (they are all taking up Device Memory). how I can delete these items from my phone and thus free up the memory they are occupying?

View 2 Replies View RelatedStrange thing I noticed. I like small text, so I changed from the standard 350% to 300%. Went to the store, and had 26 updates. This was yesterday.
While I do like the smaller, crisp font, the dialer numbers are very small, so I just re-set back to 350%. Went to the store and boom, there are, again, 26 updates.
What's with that? Do apps really install different versions depending on your font size? That seems pretty strange to me.
the indicated battery level is often incorrect. Today again the battery icon was approximatively 40% (the same value is displayed in the Settings) and shortly after, the phone goes off, the battery completely empty. I know that the 40% value shown was incorrect because the last time i charged it was more than 24 hours ago.

Apparently when I get into marketplace and then select the app (that has already been installed), I get an option of update and share. Before updating to the current (latest firmware) the update was available even in the marketplace tile. Is it because of the maintenance process being carried out with marketplace (as mentioned by a user in the discussion page?). Lumia 710 User.

There's no "Original size" and the entire "Videos" section is missing.I've made sure my wifi is set up and working, and my skydrive is all operational - when I "sake to skydrive" from the photo app, that uploads fullsize no problem.
On my new Lumia 920, Nokia maps is not showing traffic info for me. I have already updated to 3.0, but when I set the map view to traffic info, nothing happens.
WIth the builtin Bing maps however (which is not directly accessible, but for example when clicking on a contact's address), traffic info works just fine. I'm in Germany, so it's not about the coverage.
I have a Lumia 800 and have discovered a bug where the recipient name is wrong if contacts have very similar phone numbers. Example:
I have two contacts with the following phone numbers
Contact 1. - 0703 246 802
Contact 2. - 0705 246 802
Note that the only thing differing the contacts is 0703 from 0705.
Regardless of whom of these two I send a text message they always show as being sent to Contact 1. This includes any History as well, they are all grouped into Contact 1 regardless of to which phone number I send the text message to. This is very annoying and it makes it impossible to see who actually had the message sent to when looking back at the history. I have tried moving the numbers around to different contact categories, changing contact name and so on, but it has made no difference to the behavior.
I have a Nokia Lumia 710 since April 2012. But, from today (9 September, 2012), it's camera stopped working properly. I clicked a pic and then put it in my pocket. I took it out five minutes later to take another one, and since then it's been showing a vertical line. I thought I busted the cover-glass. But it was spotless. So I did a reboot. That did not work. So I immediately checked some other applications that access the camera (like ShutterPro and Handyscan). They too showed the line. Then I reopened the camera app and I zoomed in and even the line got magnified. So I took a sample picture, and viewed it on my laptop. It is a pattern of dots. I enclose the photo with this.
