at&t don't want unlock my iphone 4 off contract because says that at&t non-custmers are not eligible to receive the unlock.Logic, if I request the unlock is because i want use my device with other company: I'm from Italy.My iphone is off contract, I bought it in United States, how can I do for unlock it?

I wanted toraise a request to unlock an iPhone with AT&T bought at a no commitment price (full price) though locked to AT&T and never used AT&T services (read; not a customer). When I contacted AT&T to unlock this phone, I was told to contact Apple since AT&T was not taking up such requests from non customers. Also the AT&T policy states that they will unlock phones bought for no commitment price. Is Apple in a position to identify no commitment price devices and unlock them?

The only hitch is, I don't want to get stuck without a phone in-between. know if there is a decent supply of devices for walk-in customers at Apple retail stores? I tried calling my local one tonight, but got left on hold. They were probably swamped due to iphone mania.

I did not purchase an AppleCare Protection Plan and was wondering if I am eligible for the Out-Of-Warranty price. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's showing up on all sites, money was authorized, got confirmation emails, so I'm assuming all is good.The only weird thing is when I check my upgrade options, it still says I'm eligible to buy the iPhone for the $199/$299 price, which is awesome, I guess! I looked it up on the apple website, and used *639#. Will my new contract start when I activate the phone, or will I be able to possibly buy a second one and sell it for a nice profit? It seems that many people who bought the 3GS when it went on sale in June of last year are eligible for the discount upgrade. Then there are others, like myself, who are not. I am eligible in February 2011. Has anyone figured out why that is? Now, mind you, I am certain of the fact that quite a few of our forum members bought a 3GS last June and entered a 2-year contract. We are assuming perhaps it has something to do with how much money you spend each month with AT&T. It is being suggested that if you have a lot of service with AT&T and pay a hefty bill each month they will automatically grant you the upgrade pricing.
None of my lines show the 199/299 price range even though they are upgrade eligible in 2010. Should I go through AT&T

View 14 Replies View RelatedWhen the iPhone 4 was released I had 2 of my 3 lines eligible for full or partial upgrades. One a full subsidy, the other a half subsidy and the other nothing. Both upgrades were used on the 4's release but as of yesterday I noticed my line that wasn't eligible till February of 2011 now has a full upgrade. This would have been helpful 2 weeks ago because I wouldn't have used the early upgrade and paid more.Anyone else have their upgrade date move that didn't fall within 2010 grace period set by AT&T?

First of all who has a landline number for SE, not customer support or any of them jokers, someone higher up the chain. I called SE about 5 mins ago and they are about as good a customer service as 3 and thats really saying something. I really fed up of the customer support who ain't there to support the customers. So I am going to go higher up the chain and speak to someone who ain't mentally challenged and who is not going to reply with just. However, soon my mobile went dead and I submitted (Work order # SE310RT317708) this to Sony Ericsson Service Center (RT Outsourcing Services Ltd, Pune) on 7 Aug 2010. They informed me that there is some problem with the motherboard of the mobile and it need to be sent to the factory for replacement, for which they said it would take 15-20 days of time. However, now it is close to two months and till date I have not received my mobile. Upon repeated calling they just say it would be done in weeks time, dont know when that week would come. I also, called up your call center for the same (Ref # 88390486 and 88429925) and they said it would be done in a couple of days time, however, I have not received my mobile till date. My concern:Is Sony Erricsson so irresponsible towards its customers?

In unlock Mode when call is incoming the touch screen don't works. But after unlocking i am able to receive or reject the active call. 1. Whenever I open an app after sometime, the phone woul make like a brief restart. A spiral appears on the screen, after that to the lock screen.

I have downloaded the 3.0.1 to use in step 2 and i keep getting the error message that says "this device isn't eligible for the requested build" does anyone have any ideas how load the 3.0.1 firmware on there without this error message? i have a 3gs, i downloaded the firmware straight from the link on that page, and i have tried restarting my computer. any other suggestions?
