I'm eligible for the $299 price on the iPhone 4 32GB but when I reserved my phone at the Apple store, it shows the reservation for $699. Anyone else have the same issue and when I go to pick it up how much are they going to want to charge me?

I was originally going to have my phone shipped to my college apartment as I live an hour from my parents' home, but then I read that apple will only ship to the billing address (my parents' house) so I opted to have it reserved at the apple store closer to my apartment. I then read that I have to be an authorized/primary user on the att account in order to pick up my reserved phone and I didn't want to hassle with all that. I went through the order process a second time and just decided to have it shipped to my parents' house and just make the drive next week. My question is, do I have to cancel the reserved phone I ordered the first time or will the apple store simply give it to someone else when I don't show up?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI did the backdoor move and reserved my iphone 4 through the apple store app, got the confirmation email and it told me that it will hold my phone until the end of launch day.but...I remember previous launches that despite the reservation the phones are moved on a first come - first serve basis which to me is pointless to even have reservations if thats the case. So what's the verdict.am i really guaranteed an iphone this time or should i plan to make a trip early to the store?
View 22 Replies View RelatedI reserved a 16gb black Iphone 4 online last week for pick up today at the Garden State Plaza Apple store.. I showed up around 9pm because I was working all day.. The "genius" at the door tells me they only have 32gb phones left. If I wanted a 16gb I would have to come back later and they MIGHT be able to hold a 16gb phone for me when it comes in and they don't know when that might be. This is ridiculous, the closest apple store to me is an hour drive away and I work crazy hours.. If I order a phone online I won't get it till mid-July.
The manager at the store basically told me tough luck and if I wanted a 32gb he would give me one after waiting in the huge line that the people who did not reserve a phone were waiting in. Any one have any other ideas of how to further go about this? It is almost like a bait and switch to the 32gb..

View 15 Replies View RelatedI made a purchase for a black bumper and paid $31.60 but when I go to the Apple.com website to check the status of my refund its shows "There is no record of a refund for the receipt number you entered." I tried entering my receipt number plus last 4 of card and I also tried just entering the full CC number as well and get that response for both.
Just wanting to know if anyone has possibly experienced before, wanted to to see if any Macforum members have had this issue and what was the resolution to your issue? Should I just call Apple? Are they giving refunds in store if you take in your receipt?
I am assuming this will change, but are others seeing this? It is still showing me able to upgrade my line after receiving and activating my new phone

View 8 Replies View RelatedI haven't seen this particular scenario discussed, so I finally decided I would ask.I of course dealt with the fiasco that was June 15. I eventually was given the ability to make a reservation, and although I wanted it shipped, I figured that was better than nothing. A few hours later I was able to get an order successfully placed. Both of these were put on the same number and same apple ID.
The original plan was to give the 3G to my wife (although she was available for upgrade), but we have since decided that it makes more sense to get a new 4 for her and sell the 3G (which is why I have not cancelled the reserve). There are 2 tricky parts to that - the apple ID it is reserved for and the number are mine (will activating the i4 that arrives tomorrow affect this) and I am the 2nd line (authorized retail user) on the family plan under her name (different last names). Is there any chance that I would be able to pick up the iphone from Apple on the 24th, or will she have to be present as well? I could go at any time, but she would not be able to get there before about 7pm.
I heard this was true. Do you have to activate a line of service?

View 12 Replies View RelatedI mean I keep hearing you end up waiting in line in the reserve line and the advantage is the line goes faster.But, I may be in a situation that I can only pick up the phone much later in the day (I mean after 7 PM) depending on my work schedule.Does this mean they'll actually hold it all day or am I going to be SOL (I think I heard one launch they did end up running out of iphones for the reserved people and late comers had to wait). And please tell me if I'm SOL that it probably won't be a 3-4 week to get one in. Basically the biggest thing for me is I want one before July 21rst which is when I go on vacation (I want to have its camera and video capability by then).

I've tried creating a new Apple ID to download the app, swapping the Apple ID associated with Apple Configurator, different phones (I have 25 to deploy) and all with the same problem.
I can only find one other mention of this problem [URL] and there's no solution. I'm hoping somebody else will ahve experienced this and found an answer.

I received email confirmation on both Apple IDs I used, however, my store (Oak Brook, IL) does not show my reservation on the main website, but does confirm my reservation on the iPhone App? Is this sufficient backup to secure my phone on the 24th?

For some time now when I try to update apps on my iPhone 4 the Apple ID it shows upon choosing to update an app is not my ID. The ID shown slings to another family member with an iPhone who uses the same Mac desktop (and thus iTunes) as I do. Another person asked this question but it wasn't answered. I tried signing out of app store in my iPhone settings (by the way, it said my apple ID was being used. By my phone!) and then signing back in with my apple ID, but that didn't work either--it stil asks for the password for the other apple ID when I try to update.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an iPhone 3gs (old I know) and it boots up to the apple logo then a couple seconds later to a white screen. I have tried putting it in DFU mod or recovery mode with the whole to seconds sleep/wake button and 20 home, but nothing works. I have checked all the connectors and I am still getting that screen. If anyone can help it would be great. It all happened after I tried updating from the computer to 5.1.

Now when I plug it up to the computer, it only shows the white screen with the apple logo. It stays on there for about 5 seconds then goes off. Keep in mind that my lock button does not work. What can I do?

My iphone 5 crashed suddenly while functioning properly!! I connected it to my pc so as to restore it!!! Itunes recognized the device and a message that it needs restoring emerged!! i followed the proposed steps to restore it!! It was running ios 7.4 i think!!! Ios 8.01 was downloaded and afterwards it extracted the previous version!!! while waiting from the iphone so as the procedure to go on , the apple logo appeared with the progress bar!!! But after waiting for too long it did nothing!! The bar was empty and it seemed as it was stuck!!
I tried to do it again!! After this i tried to enter it to dfu mode again in order to restore it!! But i couldn't!!! I tried the known combination of its buttons to do it!!! Nothing at all!!
