IPhone 5 :: Crashed - While Restoring It Shows Apple Logo With Empty Process Bar
Dec 5, 2014
My iphone 5 crashed suddenly while functioning properly!!¬ I connected it to my pc so as to restore it!!! Itunes recognized the device and a message that it needs restoring emerged!! i followed the proposed steps to restore it!! It was running ios 7.4 i think!!! Ios 8.01 was downloaded and afterwards it extracted the previous version!!! while waiting from the iphone so as the procedure to go on , the apple logo appeared with the progress bar!!! But after waiting for too long it did nothing!! The bar was empty and it seemed as it was stuck!!
I tried to do it again!!¬ After this i tried to enter it to dfu mode again in order to restore it!! But i couldn't!!! I tried the known combination of its buttons to do it!!! Nothing at all!! I reconnected it to itunes !!! The device was recognized and a message that it needs restore appeared!! I followed the instructions!!! Ios was extracted and while itunew were waiting for the iphone to continue it happened the same thing again!! Apple logo appeared with the empty progress bar empty!!! It seemed as being stuck or not responding!! Is it a hardware problem? Or is it software??? Is there something i can do to make it work properly again???
I could not start my Iphone 3GS, The home screen show the icon on itunes & USB cable. During restoring process it show the error number 28. What is the problem with this phone? The iphone is factory unlock & I have been using it since one & half year. I have updated the Operating system thrice. [url]...
Earlier today, my iPhone ran out of charge and died, I plugged her in and got the battery symbol with the lightning bolt.but it never progressed from absolute bottom red.It only boots to that symbol (the only variation is whether it's plugged in or not, if not it gives me the 'plug in' symbol). I have tried hard resets, I have tried restoring the firmware, redownloading the firmware, changing usb ports, rebooting computers etc. When attempting a restore, it gets to the apple logo (preparing iphone for restore) but then fails. ONCE it got to the progress bar and failed.Any ideas? I am not and never have been jailbroken on this device. I don't want to take it back as it has data that I want on it.
Edit: I've tried leaving it on charge for hours on end.
Edit 2: Just got code 13. Trying another cable now. let's hope for the best (but i've tried this before)
Edit 3: Got error 1601. I am removing mobile device support and itunes. redownloading now.
My iphone 4 went blank n off itself. Though i do remember that it still had abt 50% of batt left, i put it to charge, n the the apple logo appeared, but thats all, it doesn on. Tried connecting to laptop n still the same only the apple icon appears n disappears if unplugged. Tried hard reset already and doesn work,
I have an iPhone 3gs (old I know) and it boots up to the apple logo then a couple seconds later to a white screen. I have tried putting it in DFU mod or recovery mode with the whole to seconds sleep/wake button and 20 home, but nothing works. I have checked all the connectors and I am still getting that screen. If anyone can help it would be great. It all happened after I tried updating from the computer to 5.1.
My phone was recently in recovery mode and I had plugged it up to restore but it completely shut off. Now when I plug it up to the computer, it only shows the white screen with the apple logo. It stays on there for about 5 seconds then goes off. Keep in mind that my lock button does not work. What can I do?
The apple logo appears for 5 seconds then disappears for 10 then appears for five and so on. I can get it to the connect to iTunes screen but as soon as I unplug it from the wall it shuts off completely. A laptop with iTunes isn't enough to power it up.
I have a 3gs that i jailbroke with jailbreakme.com a few weeks ago. today it froze and when i tried to restart it, it shows the apple logo with the spinning wheel and it just keeps spinning. What can i do if i dont want to restore it because it will upgrade my phone to 4.0.2 and i still want the jailbreak?
So I restarted my phone a few minutes ago. When it powered back up I get a warning: "Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gaps has stopped". I hit ok, but the warning just pops back up. It stays off long enough for me to power off and back on again, but that's not working.
I received a mail from you about unlocking my iPhone ending in 7418 nine days ago. I did instructions which you gave me. My iPhone was unclocked. I was very happy about this. However, i had a problem. When i restored my iPhone, it was locked again.
My iphone crashes randomly both when it is on, that when i try to restore it. in fact now i can't restore because the iphone (no itunes) crashes when the restore started. what is the problem? an hardware problem?
I had to just restore my iPhone and just wondering if during the Restore Process(where only apple logo was on screen) if someone text messaged me, would it still of come through, after the Restore Process was finished? i just want to make sure i havent missed any messages.
My xperia z3 was a little low on battery while attempting an update (said it would only be 9 minutes...) and phone died in the process.  Now the software update failed message appears and i cannot boot the phone.  cannot charge sufficiently because this continuous boot process.  tried the power+volume up to stop booting but that didnt work.  tried to repair through PC companion.  Told me there was no update available.  what do I do now!
I made a purchase for a black bumper and paid $31.60 but when I go to the Apple.com website to check the status of my refund its shows "There is no record of a refund for the receipt number you entered." I tried entering my receipt number plus last 4 of card and I also tried just entering the full CC number as well and get that response for both.
Just wanting to know if anyone has possibly experienced before, wanted to to see if any Macforum members have had this issue and what was the resolution to your issue? Should I just call Apple? Are they giving refunds in store if you take in your receipt?
Is there any App that shows which app Crashed. I have a Motorola Defy with Froyo . Just locks up even when on standby, only way would be take out the battery and restart.Motorola suggested installing ATK, worked for few days, but again the issue started today. Also few days back i had issues with not able to hear person on other side, but started working fine again.
Right now it just shows the apple logo fading in and out. It cannot be powered down, it cannot be picked up by my iTunes account. On occasion it switches to the plug in cord with the arrow to "iTunes" so I run in and hook it upto the computer, open iTunes and nothing. No chime that its noted, no change. It just sits there. I have managed to reset it once and it worked for a day.
My E72 always shows the outbox notification icon at the bottom of the screen even when all emails and messages have been sent. I think that this means the phone has unsent emails or messages but there are none.Apart from that good phone.
I have the icon showing up that I received emails but the inbox are empty. When I pull the battery the icon goes away. With the next regular email the icon shows up again. I don't want to have to pull the battery every time I have an empty inbox.
I used Wugfresh nexus root toolkit and went through the unlocking and root process. It unlocked fine, went through the reboot process. Then when I selected root and recovery I got to TWRP, swiped to apply the zips, it rebooted and never got back into system. Now it just hangs on the google logo. I can get into bootloader and stock recovery still as I attempted to reflash stock through the toolkit.
I just connected my iPhone 3G to my computer with the USB cable (Yes I do have 2.0 USB), and I updated it. After that, my iPhone rebooted. Till now, everything seems quite normal.
But now, as it restarted, it shows a picture of the iTunes logo, and a USB cable poiting at it. So I figured out I needed to connect to iTunes. But if I do so, nothing happens. I manually restarted my iPhone, I restarted my computer, I reÔnstalled iTunes, and nothing seems to work out as I want.As I amtyping this, my iPhone just went off by itself, so I think I need to restart it, because it was on for quite a long time with the iTunes logo on screen.
After I replaced display on my iPhone 5s I tried to restore it from iCloud. But during restore it asks me to enter password for unknown apple ID firstname.lastname@example.org. I have restored my iPhone few times before but it's first time I get this kind of message.
I bought it in Apple Store and the device was never jalbroken. Here is the screen shot: [URL] ...
