So I restarted my phone a few minutes ago. When it powered back up I get a warning: "Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gaps has stopped". I hit ok, but the warning just pops back up. It stays off long enough for me to power off and back on again, but that's not working.

Â Now the software update failed message appears and i cannot boot the phone. Â cannot charge sufficiently because this continuous boot process. Â tried the power+volume up to stop booting but that didnt work. Â tried to repair through PC companion. Â Told me there was no update available. Â what do I do now!
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy iphone 5 crashed suddenly while functioning properly!! I connected it to my pc so as to restore it!!! Itunes recognized the device and a message that it needs restoring emerged!! i followed the proposed steps to restore it!! It was running ios 7.4 i think!!! Ios 8.01 was downloaded and afterwards it extracted the previous version!!! while waiting from the iphone so as the procedure to go on , the apple logo appeared with the progress bar!!! But after waiting for too long it did nothing!! The bar was empty and it seemed as it was stuck!!
I tried to do it again!! After this i tried to enter it to dfu mode again in order to restore it!! But i couldn't!!! I tried the known combination of its buttons to do it!!! Nothing at all!! I reconnected it to itunes !!! The device was recognized and a message that it needs restore appeared!! I followed the instructions!!! Ios was extracted and while itunew were waiting for the iphone to continue it happened the same thing again!! Apple logo appeared with the empty progress bar empty!!! It seemed as being stuck or not responding!! Is it a hardware problem? Or is it software??? Is there something i can do to make it work properly again???

I bought the Lapdock with my Bionic and got it all home let everything get charged up and started to try to use the Lapdock. I get 3-4 Firefox pages up and going and I keep getting a Low Memory error and it wants me to close app's I don't really have many things running but the Bionic indicates that 69% of the memory is in use on the droid and a few percentage for webtop firefox. I can't seem to kill off enough things to keep the error from popping up.
View 10 Replies View Relateda few days ago about my blackberry 9000 that would not turn on or be recognized no matter what i did when connected through usb to the pc, instead it flashed 4 red lights over and over.i drained the battery in my friends husbands bold 9000 till it was fully dead to test out a theory: i popped it in mine and put the blackberry on charge - no lights at all and no lights now (its been charging 10 hours in a wall plug)does a bricked (this is what the shop techie said when taking it to him for a fix and then refused to fix it for me cause its a paperweight) blackberry still charge up normally? mine isnt charging the battery so im wondering if the reason its undetectable by my pc is because the charging ports faulty or is it standard that a bricked blackberry no longer bothers to charge your battery because it wont turn on

I am able to access the bootloader and have already tried to wipe cache and performed factory data reset but the phone is still stuck on the boot animation. I have tried to unlock the bootloader with 1-click-nexus-5-bootloader-unlock as well as CF-Auto-Root-hammerhead-hammerhead-nexus5 tools but after I accept to unlock the bootloader, the phone reboots and gets stuck on the boot animation. The bootloader status remains locked.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI installed the v20 firmware on my phone and found that it was acting up (froze, restarted on its own...sometimes it wouldnt ask for my security code) so i reinstalled the firmware (both times it was through NSU) and now i cant turn my phone on - lol? I tried the hard reset combo didnt work.. took out my battery 30 minutes/whole night and still nothing If i try to turn it out i just feel that vibration..and same when i try to hard reset.. Is Nokia care centre my only option?

My itunes is the latest one, so I even deleted itunes and re-installed it, restarted my computer and iPhone, then tried to restore it again. No go. At first itunes was giving me a 2002 error, now I believe it's something like 1004 error. What can I do? There is no apple store where I am located.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm still pretty confused and with some of them out of date I'm not sure where I stand. The phone crashed yesterday and I need to try and rescue video of my godson's first steps which wasnt backed up!
It had half battery at the time. It has rebooted by itself in the past but dunno how often as I dont keep watch on it. I did notice over the course of the day that the widgets/shortcuts on the desktop had seemed to stop working, but didnt take the time to restart it.
Got a new battery (another 35Euro!) and had them both charged just in case. Here's whats happening. Dunno if anybody can decipher it:
- when I switch it on with the battery, I get the NOKIA logo, backlight and steady blue status indicator, goes dead after 30secs
- Battery out, usb in: status indicator one flash orange. Thats it until I put the battery in again and I get a vibrate and NOKIA logo without backlight. After 30 secs it dies and repeats this cycle automatically
- if I switch it on with the battery in and plug it in while the backlight is on, it again vibrates and has dark logo, except now orange light stays steady every second cycle. If I take the battery out, the orange indicator stays on.
I dunno what firmware is on it, but I dont remember updating it in about two months. I wonder if flashing is a suitable thing for me to try or is my phone a gonner?

View 1 Replies View RelatedYesterday I downloaded a new app from the play store, and after about 10 minutes of messing around with the app, it locked up my S6. So i tried to kill the app, no luck. Did a soft reset, vibrated and powered down. Upon reboot, the screen flickered the "powered by android" splash screen and went through its normal boot with the screen black. Tried to get the screen to turn on, but now it only flickers with a green vertical line, and then turn the screen turns right back off... Everything seems to be fine on the phone, ie, i can take pictures(auto upload to dropbox), screen shots, and even answer any incoming calls. But the screen wont turn on. Waiting for the battery to drain to see what will happen, when its dead and i try to plug it in.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have had my G3 for about 2 years now, last week my phone screen went green then rebooted and when the phone turned back on it displayed a menu to either reboot or go into dload mode. If you choose to reboot the phone it would loop back to the same menu. I brought my phone to sprint and they said there was nothing they could do and that the phone had crashed. Now the phone turns on and goes to a blue screen and shuts off after the LG startup screen. I got a new phone but the issue i am having is that the phone has very important pictures and videos on it. View 4 Replies View RelatedMy k800i has been absolutely fine for the 4 or so years i've owned it but recently trying to start the golf game it came installed with has crashed the phone sending into an auto restart.Today instead of restarting, the phone crashed and had a few pixels on the screen in dark Grey but wouldn't change so i had to remove the battery. Now whenever i turn on the phone, the screen display is completely white and the phone vibrates once. I have tried removing the memory card, letting the phone sit for a few minutes before trying again etc all with no success. After googling this problem it seems fairly common but I didn't want to download different software that could damage it permanently. Does anyone know a good solution to this?

1) sometimes software crashes (any, not related to a specific title) , just disappears ant tile screen is back. Today the phone completely shut down in a second and only removing the battery bring it back to live.
2) In standby, there is a sound like it is switching the speaker all the time on and off.
Was using my phone today and then after about 15 mins I went to use it again and the home button would not work. Had to turn off then turned back on and nothing was different. Did this a few times as I spend a lot of time on my phone and once I was in an app then I could not get back out so I had to keep turning on and off. After a few hours of this the phone crashed and made me reset on iTunes. Did this and it still doesn't work. Phone is a a couple months old as I used my insurance after the last one went swimming.

Tonight a friend and myself were JUST talking about backing up our files on cydia, so I open cydia to look around and boom.. Phone is froze. Reset it and it has the wonderful plug into itunes..I try to jailbreak and it fails now. *Yes, its tethered because its newer.. BUT its still 3.1.2. I went to use itunes to restore and it wants to put 3.1.3 on there.. NOT good.I rely on the jailbreak to use my phone, now its dead. Is there a way I can fix this thing? I have a mac and a pc I can try things on.I hope I can get it working, or else I am totally screwed.. Just bought the phone for 750 dollars last month, and now again I am stuck with nothing. I feel sick to my stomach.

All attempts to switch off the phone failed so my daughter removed the battery and tried to restart the phone. Without success. The Sony Ericcson logo is shown accomplished with a short vibration. This continues in an endless loop. The only way to stop the phone is to remove the battery again. Pressing the rest button has no effect, the described behaviour continues.

I am wondering how i can get the photos off. Its a droid turbo once it fails to start up the screen remains off but it vibrated every 30sec.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI brought my nexus 5 for almost a year now. yesterday, i was charging my phone via a PC and after disconnecting it from the PC it just started to heatup near the camera area. It became so hot that I was not able to keep in my pocket. Then I tried opening up the dailer to call my friend but it just showed "Process system isn't responding do you want to close it?"
THEN I tried several other apps and these showed up:
unfortunately, MTP app stopped
unfortunately, Media Storage has stopped
unfortunately, Settings has stopped
unfortunately, Google play services has stopped
then I tried factory reset but not improvement. during the signin page in the beginning it said Google account manager stopped working, then again process system isn't responding. I tried factory imaging from 4.4.4 kitkat to 5 lollipop. No improvement.
I believe there are some corrupted files that might have updated automatically. i dont want to pay $200 and wait for 3 weeks to get it fixed
