Jun 24, 2010I have opened up some apps, particular two games, and they close while it is starting up. I would think this has something to do with the apps not being updated yet to iOS 4. Has anyone else noticed this on heir iPhone 4?

Jul 2, 2012I bought an iPhone 4S from best buy store in US without any carrier contract. I also said that I'm going to use it abroad (In Turkey). After coming back I registered the phone to my carrier and it is in the white list. However, I cannot activate the phone. I also tried an AT&T sim but that didn't work at all. What should I do?

IPhone :: All Of A Sudden All My (non Apple) Apps Fail To Open
Apr 28, 2012All of a sudden, all my (non Apple) apps fail to open.
dmesg shows "AppleFairplayTextCrypterSession::fairplayOpen() failed, error -42184".
This is "original iPhone 8GB with iOS 3.1.3".
Was running fine till last week I powered completely off and on again - a couple of times - right before the problem showed up.(I cycled power the first time because it was running so slowly. The second time because "No WiFi" showed up in "Settings". After the second reboot "WiFi" was back, but after that none of my non-Apple applications would launch.)
Anyone have any idea what the problem is?(It would seem to be DRM (digital rights management) related. But why all of a sudden? Has iOS 3.1.3 been completely "timed out"?) I am thinking to restore from backup - through iTunes. I don't really have the option to "re-install" all my apps from the AppStore. Because most of them have moved on to "iOS 4" only versions...and my old iPhone can only support iOS 3.1.3.

IPhone ::IiP4 And Acura USB Fail - Will Not Play A Selected Song
Jul 19, 2010I have an Acura ZDX and was able to pair my 3G / iOS3 both via BT and USB successfully. Now with my iP4 I can pair and use my iP4 as an iPod via BT, using the iP4 to change songs; under USB it seems to connect and load the data and songs, but it will not play a selected song using the Acura NAV monitor to select. Anyone else who has an Acura have this issue? Anyone else having similar computability issues with their car?

Jun 18, 2012I can't send SMS with my Verizon iPhone 4s. I'm in Amsterdam, using a Vodafone NL SIM card. Can send/receive phone calls, receive texts, and use data; just can't send texts! I've checked and reset the message center number by "calling": **5005*7672*+316540881000# on my phone. When I type in *#5005*7672# it gives me the +316540881000 phone number. But, I still can't send texts.

May 6, 2010I just bought an HD2 and being the moron that I am, thought that a program I downloaded would unlock my HD2. I think it may have bricked my phone. When I press the power button, it will do nothing. When I plug it into the computer, it does recognize the device as if it is on.

Aug 12, 2010I just connected my new n86 to the laptop which has win7 build 7600 ultimate and now it shows it as "S60 Handset" in the taskbar instead of nokia n86 before and even now if i connect the 5800 it shows it as "Nokia 5800 XpressMusic" anyway the ovi suite reads it well and everything is ok im able to read and write all memories (phone, mass, m.card) but why is this happening?

HTC One M7 :: Why Does WiFi Reconnect Fail
Jun 11, 2015previous hardware with new Cisco DPC3941T. Ever since, my cel phone (HTC One M7 running Android 5.0.2) will not auto-reconnect after a timeout. Under the previous config, there was never an issue.
So let's start at the beginning --
1) I just chose to "Forget" my home network on my cell.
2) I scan for new networks & choose the 2.4 OR the 5 segment. Enter password, Connect first time.
3) Run variety of tasks just fine, let the phone go to sleep.
4a) Pick up the phone after just a few minutes, still connected. Good.
4b) Pick up the phone after more than just a few minutes (?), the reconnect attempt errors out.
5) The only way to reconnect is to repeat steps (1) & (2) above.

The backup file is not saved."However my phone is full of content and the message is not true.I had similar problem a few days back with and older version of PC Suite but strangely no such problems with the same version of the old PC Suite last year.I hope you can help me on thios subject as I cannot over emphasised the importance of backing up the phone contents.For your information, I have used the latest version of PC Suite Cleaner before installing the latest PC Suite.

Oct 19, 2012The compass is not working on my Nokia C6-01.I cant calibrate it. Even other compass apps dont work. Nokia care staff reinstalled firmware, but the issue was not solved. They said it is a sensor issue and they will check whether this is in touch panel or the board itself. I just want to know whether sensor has any role to play in a compass. The Nokia care staff has no idea of what a compass is and how it works. He didnt understand the exact problem even after I showed it. I had to grab another similar phone and showed him how it works or should work. I am fed up with the failure of Nokia phones within a year or so. This is my 3rd handset in row to have developed issues. Seems better to move on to other phones.

Jun 15, 2012just bought a great bb bold 9900 in white and am still geting to grips with this piece if kit, everytime i receive a call all i see is unknown number, now having googled the problem the answer i receive is the following..go to settings, security, encryption, UNTICK include contacts and then UNTICK encrypt.Now everytime i untick encryptions, then save and exit....it automatically ticks the include contacts box...and the end result is caller id fails to work.

So I flash the boot with commands and install the recovery and flash those two files again. With both give me error so I flash again with hk and my phone revive but I can't use it because I need the US rom. That's why I'm asking for the rom 1288-2987.4

Nokia :: N86 8MP - Windows 7 64 Bit Drivers Fail To Install
Feb 25, 2010I have installed Nokia Suite twice (after first uninstalling it and removing all the drivers) and Nokia software update once, but neither product can see the phone connected by the USB cable. Windows is able to load some of the drivers, but depending on the time 3 or 4 of the 7 or 8 items windows tries to install fail. ie Nokia N86 USB LCIF fails, Nokia N86 USB Generic fails. Device manager has a flag on all phone related items, except for Nokia N86 USB Phone Parent. During the software installs the software sees a phone and asks for it to be removed before continuing with the install, which I comply with. So the software at least partially sees it. The phone is connected by the Nokia supplied cable directly to the motherboard in PC mode and this is a fresh (1 week old) install of Win 7 64.
