I just bought an HD2 and being the moron that I am, thought that a program I downloaded would unlock my HD2. I think it may have bricked my phone. When I press the power button, it will do nothing. When I plug it into the computer, it does recognize the device as if it is on.
View 2 RepliesSo I finally updated to Black today and to my surprise the damn yellow tint is still present when using flash indoors.I did one shot before the update with Nokia Pro Cam, and on after the Black update and after updating to Nokia Camera.
They look nearly identical.

no flash after black [this looks most like the real thing] . Notice similar issue with the yellow tint not being fixed after updating to Black?Also forgot to mention, all setting were on auto, on the top two shots, on the no flash one, change from auto flash to no flash.
i thought i was crazy at first and it was just my imagination when i saw it flash up when receiving a text message/notification/ phone call and the camera flash lighted up. then today i had my phone on silent and received a phone call and just watched it light up and flash until i finally picked up. i've went through a bunch of the settings but i cant find one to turn this off.

I just connected my new n86 to the laptop which has win7 build 7600 ultimate and now it shows it as "S60 Handset" in the taskbar instead of nokia n86 before and even now if i connect the 5800 it shows it as "Nokia 5800 XpressMusic" anyway the ovi suite reads it well and everything is ok im able to read and write all memories (phone, mass, m.card) but why is this happening?

previous hardware with new Cisco DPC3941T. Ever since, my cel phone (HTC One M7 running Android 5.0.2) will not auto-reconnect after a timeout. Under the previous config, there was never an issue.
So let's start at the beginning --
1) I just chose to "Forget" my home network on my cell.
2) I scan for new networks & choose the 2.4 OR the 5 segment. Enter password, Connect first time.
3) Run variety of tasks just fine, let the phone go to sleep.
4a) Pick up the phone after just a few minutes, still connected. Good.
4b) Pick up the phone after more than just a few minutes (?), the reconnect attempt errors out.
5) The only way to reconnect is to repeat steps (1) & (2) above.

The backup file is not saved."However my phone is full of content and the message is not true.I had similar problem a few days back with and older version of PC Suite but strangely no such problems with the same version of the old PC Suite last year.I hope you can help me on thios subject as I cannot over emphasised the importance of backing up the phone contents.For your information, I have used the latest version of PC Suite Cleaner before installing the latest PC Suite.

whenever i send a text message with an attached picture, it fails. I get the "message sending failed, check message settings" window.
The compass is not working on my Nokia C6-01.I cant calibrate it. Even other compass apps dont work. Nokia care staff reinstalled firmware, but the issue was not solved. They said it is a sensor issue and they will check whether this is in touch panel or the board itself. I just want to know whether sensor has any role to play in a compass. The Nokia care staff has no idea of what a compass is and how it works. He didnt understand the exact problem even after I showed it. I had to grab another similar phone and showed him how it works or should work. I am fed up with the failure of Nokia phones within a year or so. This is my 3rd handset in row to have developed issues. Seems better to move on to other phones.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI do the update to 5.1.1 from the phone, but the update fail and the phone die, I try to unlock the bootloader, but I can't, y flash the boot by command and put the twrp. then i try to flash from the sony flasher this two files the US 23.4.A.0.546. and the hk 23.4.A.0.546 but both get stock in the system.sin after that my phone die in full again. So I flash the boot with commands and install the recovery and flash those two files again. With both give me error so I flash again with hk and my phone revive but I can't use it because I need the US rom. That's why I'm asking for the rom 1288-2987.4

I have bought my n82 since 1 year already and was happily using it when I noticed that my messages are failing everytime and the phone is resending it (or rescheduling to resend it) and ALL the time it fails, and it reschedules to infinity.I paid this mobile from the sweat of my work and now it is failing after only one year? I have had this problem some months back. And I did a hard reset and firmware upgrade to 31version. It was ok for 3 months, and now the problem is BACKK.My message centre is good, I even tried to use the network of only gsm - no success.
I have installed Nokia Suite twice (after first uninstalling it and removing all the drivers) and Nokia software update once, but neither product can see the phone connected by the USB cable. Windows is able to load some of the drivers, but depending on the time 3 or 4 of the 7 or 8 items windows tries to install fail. ie Nokia N86 USB LCIF fails, Nokia N86 USB Generic fails. Device manager has a flag on all phone related items, except for Nokia N86 USB Phone Parent. During the software installs the software sees a phone and asks for it to be removed before continuing with the install, which I comply with. So the software at least partially sees it. The phone is connected by the Nokia supplied cable directly to the motherboard in PC mode and this is a fresh (1 week old) install of Win 7 64.
