I'm facing this issue with iPhone 4 GSM where the GPS purple arrow shows up whenever iPhone attempts to download or upload data (with every internet dependant app) on 3G network.
I have reset the all settings and didnt fix it, so I restored from 5.1.1 build 2B206 to build 2B028 yet the problem persists. Location services are all turned off, even the system services are off.

I have a new torch from AT&T from the US (which was opened). I inserted the Sim from my bold but only get the H+ connection. On the Bold I get the 3G connection with the same Sim. What can be done to be able to my Torch on the Korean System?
The Torch will show 3G network when original AT&T (US) Sim is inserted.
I recently purchased a samsung SGH-F480. Thanks to this forum website I was able to enter the proper codes so it would work with my provider (At&t). However, the icon always shows as G network, and not 3G. Does anybody know what the problem is or/and how to fix it? My phone is 3G capable, so I know the phone should be able to do that. What can I do? Who is "in charge" of that: the phone or the service provider?

View 15 Replies View RelatedI have a 3G enabled SIM which works fine on galaxy fit.But in my xperia mini pro, when I select WCDMA the network disconnects and shows "emergency calls only".I have shown that to my service provider but he says thats the phones fault.I have also tried another 3G SIM from another provider in my phone but the problem persists.This is a HARDWARE problem, I got it rectified at SONY service center (free of cost!!!).They replaced the PCB( Printed Circuit Board).

The colors on the screen vary depending on how the screen is angled. The colors vary from purple, green, and pink tint. I've tried turning my phone on and off as well as resetting it, and nothing is working. The color tint is just in the middle of my screen from the top to the bottom of my screen; not on the sides, however it is still very hard to see my pictures in my gallery or even use social networking sites or anything for that matter.

My I phone 4 has 4 purple stripes taking up the whole of the screen. This has happened before ( around 2 weeks ago ). I tried powering down and resetting. The phone had plenty of charge on each occasion that this fault appeared. When it happened previously I left it at home for a week whilst I was away on holiday and when I returned the battery had completely discharged itself. I plugged in the charger and switched the phone on and the fault disappeared so I'm hoping the same happens again.

The camera on the back of my phone recently developed a reddish-purple spot in the middle of the lense.
