I have a new torch from AT&T from the US (which was opened). I inserted the Sim from my bold but only get the H+ connection. On the Bold I get the 3G connection with the same Sim. What can be done to be able to my Torch on the Korean System?
The Torch will show 3G network when original AT&T (US) Sim is inserted.
After upgrading to iOS 5.1, my phone shows that my AT&T service is 4G. I am in Tulsa, OK and AT&T has not yet rolled out 4G and even if it had, the iPhone 4s does not support 4G so why is showing up as 4G on the screen?

However, the icon always shows as G network, and not 3G. Does anybody know what the problem is or/and how to fix it? My phone is 3G capable, so I know the phone should be able to do that. What can I do? Who is "in charge" of that: the phone or the service provider?

I have reset the all settings and didnt fix it, so I restored from 5.1.1 build 2B206 to build 2B028 yet the problem persists. Location services are all turned off, even the system services are off.

Although the network bar shows full connectivity. My SE Xperia Neo V notification bar says no service due to which I'm not able to make/receive calls. My phone had fallen in water so got it repaired by authorized service center. They changed all the parts but still I'm getting this problem.

On e-mails longer than a "screen" (or so) the text is cut off and a checkerboard background is displayed (see attached). This happens on all e-mail accounts (BES, gmail, etc). Trying More/More All/Get Plain Text have no affect.

Even i have opened individually all the mails inthe inbox and marked as Read. But still showing 1 message as unread. If new 5 messages comes to the inbox then it shows as 6 message as unread. After reading 5 messages the alter goes back to 1 message as unread. how to clear this message.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI sent a text to my friend. They replied but it came as a seperate thread not as a reply to the one I had just sent. Usually I can scroll up and read all our texts in seperate boxes. I have the bb torch 9800. This is what I see: from the main screen click on test messages. It shows as a green bubble as if it is a draft message and 4 characters that I don't ever remember typing. But when I click on the message all I see is their reply message to me but can't see the 4 characters from the supposedly draft message that shows in the list of text messages. Also there is no box at the bottom to type my reply. If I go back to the list of text messages and click the bb button I can click reply but when I do once again all I see is their message but still no 4 characters of the draft message or text box for me to type in.

It feels like you really need to press down on the power button to get the shut down menu to show up.If i don't press down hard enough or right, the shut down menu shows up then it locks and the lock screen shows up. it's quite straight forward, and I don't remember having to hold down the power button for that long for it to shut down.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have discovered that some of my text messages are not being sent or received. Every text shows that it sends and shows a time within a few seconds. I would say I am 90% working fine, but important texts are falling through the cracks.Text messages I send with more than 160 characters auto blend into one message natively. Recipients are only receiving part #2.They never have received the first part on dozens of tries. Always the case from home and work. I'm connected to wifi at home and work. Oddly enough, I was able to disconnect from wifi and was able to send both parts of sms messages 4 out of 5 times. When i connected back to wifi, still only the 2nd part of the sms.A few of the regular sms messages that I confirmed didn't go through were more than 100 characters, but less than 160. So far, every small or low character count message has worked.
Didn't receive a couple of texts that I was able to verify were 100+ character texts. eems to be a larger message problem, but every picture I have sent has successfully gone through.Installed Go SMS tonight. Still had the issue when sending multipart texts that only text #2 came through.I spent quite a bit of time on the phone with Sprint today. We did a battery pull and he did a phone refresh remotely. I tried a test text while he was on the phone. I sent a 2 parter to my wife and it was received. I thought the problem was fixed, but the very next 2 part text only showed the 2nd part of the message. I have not been able to get a 2 parter to go through since.
"Just got my Blackberry Torch 9810 and I can't connect to AT&T's Network! I get an error saying that there is insufficent network coverage and yet when my girlfriend tries on her Pantech Impact, sitting right next to me, she has no problem. I'm able to make and receive calls and I have 3 bars showing in the signal strength indicator.
I just asked this question over on the AT&T Blackberry Forum but I haven't got a response yet so I thought I would ask it here too.
Since then, I called AT&T for help and they told me that it is probably because when I received my phone I should've left the new SIM card in it and activated it, rather than just popping in my old SIM card, is this true? In the past, I think I've just inserted my old SIM Card and everything worked as it should without performing a new activation.
I got a new 9810 in April 2012.Very happy with all the features of the phone EXPECT it keeps loosing network. I submitted it for repairs and was issued a New phone. Exactly the same problem- had the new phone for a week.I have tried Automatic & Manual Network selection, both 3G & 2G.I have updated the software and not installed any themes. It can't be a Network issue as i used my old curve without problem while I waited for my new phone from Vodacom.
