i have the iphone4 and in the top right corner there is a lock with an arrow circling it. i think its preventing me from turning the phone sideways to text easier.

I'm facing this issue with iPhone 4 GSM where the GPS purple arrow shows up whenever iPhone attempts to download or upload data (with every internet dependant app) on 3G network.
I have reset the all settings and didnt fix it, so I restored from 5.1.1 build 2B206 to build 2B028 yet the problem persists. Location services are all turned off, even the system services are off.

ive noticed on my iphone 4s it now has a circular arrow in the top left of my conacts list like a refresh symbol but it does nothing. does anyone know what its for? i swear it wasnt there yesterday.also how do you get rid of duplicate contacts or contacts you no longer need? i know we can merge contacts but there seems to be tons of names and numbers i have put into categories for work contacts and since using icloud when one person rings i have three different names for them that pops up.

My iphone 4s screen is stuck on a picture of the usb plug with an arrow pointing toward the itunes icon. we discontinued our account with at&t and need to reset this phone to factory settings. I pluged it in to my computer but nothing happened. Brought up itunes, nothing. No reset instructions and the screen never changed. I think this is known as 'dead pixels'. it covers quite a patch of the top right corner of the screen. When I put pressure on the patch, it makes a jelly puddle momentum, just like when you put pressure of a laptop screen, you get that jelly puddle. Just to confirm, is it dead pixels that I've got? or would dead pixels black out on the screen and be unreadable when you touch in that area?

Well I already know that the left corner of my iPhone is fragile and I hate cases so I've gotten used to not touching that corner ^_^ doesn't seem big of a deal just annoyed me first couple days or so. When on the texting screen, the icons on the upper right corner are overlapped. Example: the new text icon is underneath the upload icon. Also, when in an individual text screen, the contact icon is underneath the upload arrow icon. Seems to be a software problem to me.
