IPhone :: What Does The PM In The Top Left Corner Mean
Mar 12, 2012
There is a PM on the top left corner of my iPhone but it's only there when I'm on the home screen. And there is a big space in the right where the battery should be
iPhone 4 consistently drops call when touching the lower left corner of the device. I did it four times on video, but could have done it all night. Hopefully this is just a lemon.
Well I already know that the left corner of my iPhone is fragile and I hate cases so I've gotten used to not touching that corner ^_^ doesn't seem big of a deal just annoyed me first couple days or so. Here's an example of me when let's say I take a pic I don't touch that corner at all, anyone used to not holding it wrong anymore?
A week and a half ago, I got an iPhone5c, and for two days now, I've been noticing that sometimes when I open an app, the top left corner will go white for a few moments. Or, on the right side when I open an app, the screen will have a white line.
I just bought Lumia 950 and unpacking it. When the first time I boot it, it shows a pink pixel on the upper left corner (black screen) on my phone. Just before the Windows logo appeared. It's just a blink. What is it actually? When the phone screen is up nothing seems weird on the spot that got the pink pixel.
I am from Bulgaria and yesterday I bought Nokia x7. After only 4 hours the phone freezed on maps and stayed like for like an hour. Finaly I managed to turned off and on and there was a yellow spot on the screen. Its visible only on lighter colors. I brought it back and they sayed that I could be my mistake but I didnt do anything to it only downloaded some aplications from ovi store.
I read many many E52 phones suffer Internal GPS fix problems. I don't beleve this is an hardware problem, but only a software bug. My experiments say this:
1) Start phone, start Ovi Maps -> No lock at all. (only 1 blinking line in bottom left corner) 2) Start phone, start McGuider (Sygic) navigator -> E52 locks quite immedeately. (in the same place!!) 3) After GPS is locked, start Ovi Maps again. Now also Maps works great! 4) Also the gps built-in application under Menu->Applications->GPS->GPS Data has the same behaviour as Ovi Maps.
when I'm in sms application, there are small numbers that appear in the upper left corner of the device. Specifically, mine are " 120 1/6" I'm was thinking 120 contacts and 1 of 6 ongoing converstations or something to that effect, but even when I close them out...it still show 1/6. What exactly is this trying to tell me? Also, when powering down the phone what is the difference in the two options? 1 is "turn off" the othe is "full power down" or something like that. What is the difference? I want my phone off to save battery, but I want my alarm to go off in the morning. Which reminds me, what is "Standby Mode"? Noticed that holding the mute button a few seconds put the device into that mode.
This is the problem that I have been facing since I have purchased this phone(2years now). I am not using nokia push mail or even nokia mails at all. I have selected packet data Connection setting as "When Needed".
This happens every time I connect to the internet using mobile network and then remains there forever until either I restart Phone or go to offline mode. This is so annoying because it is not using any data though it is there.
There is a dotted lines below the E sign as you can see in the attachment.
I've had the Samsung Galaxy 2 since launch now. Recently came across a strange issue, it doesn't seem to affect my phone in any way but it's still pretty annoying. I have a strange watermark of a 'a...' on the top left corner of my screen.
Yesterday it was the letter 'e...' Not sure how I got it, may have been a dodgy 3rd party app. I can see it flash by when I am loading a page, or when I am in my gallery or even while in camera mode. I have attached photos of it below, does anyone know what is causing this? I would like to remove it
I have tried changing wallpapers, and looking through my files for the letter icons with no luck. AVG isn't picking up anything either.
In the Notification Bar very upper Left Hand Corner of Atrix, there is AT&T. I noticed earlier it was flashing like a turn signal on a car?. What would cause that? I Power reset the phone and it seems to have stopped.
I brought my Defy in October 2011. Since then it was four times at service. Dust keep entering behind the screen, mainly at the top left corner. Two times they cleaned it and replaced some rubber parts there. Nothing changed, after one or two weeks the dust appeared again. I asked them to send me a new one, but they refused it. A month ago they send me back the same phone without even cleaning it with notes that I'm using it in highly dusted environment against the IP67 (which is theoretically impossible in my country) Now, the whole upper part of the screen is dusted (see photo) and the screws are damaged due to the continuous repairs.
Have just got my vivaz replaced as the charge port came out with the charger to find that the new phone constantly has the new message symbol flashing in the top left hand corner, was wondering how to get rid of this as it is driving me crazy. Have tried turning the phone on and off again and deleting all my messages but it's still there.
I had my phone on the fast charger and when i went to unplug it, i noticed a band of black, blue and pink had began to form in the upper left hand corner of my phone. I haven't had the samsung s6 long , so i am not sure what to do. At&t claims it is liquid damaged, but it has been in a otterbox case.
i have the iphone4 and in the top right corner there is a lock with an arrow circling it. i think its preventing me from turning the phone sideways to text easier.
I've recently noticed a radius of brighter pixels on the top right part of my iPhone 4. I think this is known as 'dead pixels'. it covers quite a patch of the top right corner of the screen. When I put pressure on the patch, it makes a jelly puddle momentum, just like when you put pressure of a laptop screen, you get that jelly puddle. Just to confirm, is it dead pixels that I've got? or would dead pixels black out on the screen and be unreadable when you touch in that area?
How do I make it so that when some one calls me on my iPhone, their picture will be small and in the top right hand corner instead of filling up the whole screen?
