When on the texting screen, the icons on the upper right corner are overlapped. Example: the new text icon is underneath the upload icon. Also, when in an individual text screen, the contact icon is underneath the upload arrow icon. Seems to be a software problem to me.

I had my phone on the fast charger and when i went to unplug it, i noticed a band of black, blue and pink had began to form in the upper left hand corner of my phone. I haven't had the samsung s6 long , so i am not sure what to do. At&t claims it is liquid damaged, but it has been in a otterbox case.

Just before the Windows logo appeared. It's just a blink. What is it actually? When the phone screen is up nothing seems weird on the spot that got the pink pixel.

While being in the search screen, when I tap the home button (to return to the 1st menu screen) it actually returns me to the first menu screenas it should but does not remove (hide) the search keybord! So, half of the menu screen is hidden under the keyboard. I can scroll to the 2nd screen and so on but I cansee (and tap) only the half of each screen as the other half is under the keyboard ... I solve the problem either by restartingthe phone or by just pressing the power button (getting the phone in sleep mode and then come back).

I have an icon that I can find nothing about. I have an xperia play and right below the clock in the upper right hand corner is a flashing icon that looks like a gear. It's an AT&T phone and their logo is right in the middle of it. I contacted them first and their tech support is stumped as well and suggested that I come here but I can find nothing on this site either. Nothing in any video I've seen or in the manual. Tried pushing it, nothing happens.

I think this is known as 'dead pixels'. it covers quite a patch of the top right corner of the screen. When I put pressure on the patch, it makes a jelly puddle momentum, just like when you put pressure of a laptop screen, you get that jelly puddle. Just to confirm, is it dead pixels that I've got? or would dead pixels black out on the screen and be unreadable when you touch in that area?

For no apparent reason, my E63 started displaying "Silent" in small letters in the upper right corner of the screen. I did not change any of the tones. I cannot find anywhere what this notification refers to. The phone is excellent, but the user's manual leaves much to be desired for completeness. For the second time in 6 months my g3 now has a yellow half circle on the upper right if the screen.
Last time lg repaired. I can't think its to do with the device getting hot.
I still struggle with battery time and the odd time when the phone goes sluggish.
It's a d855 running 5.0. Am sure a later version of android will fix these things but I cannot root due to it being a work mobile.
The home bar suddenly stopped working on my Z5 compact. It's not a touchscreen issue, because the lower part of the screen works perfectly (for example to open the camera app from the lock screen). I rebooted it several times but it's still not working.Â

There were no Android updates before that, but I did have an issue that the screen would go permanently inactive during calls (a known issue for this model). I did not tamper with the software either.Â

My phone has been acting weird lately in a number of different ways. Firstly, if I am in a message with my keyboard open, and press the power button, when I turn on the screen again, the keyboard is stuck on the lock screen.
Secondly, my keyboard seems to be overlapping the pointer when i tap on a word and when I spell a word and it autocorrects,but I want to revert to the previous word so I tap on it, that previous word in the dropbox is hidden behind the keyboard as well. See attachment.
