Mar 14, 2012iPhone is either searching or has no service? I usually always have signal and now suddenly I don't! Why???

Mar 15, 2010I live in a poor reception area on the Rogers network. I've noticed that when I go into the basement the phone drops a signal pretty quickly. I am okay with this and is expected. My issue is when I get back on to the main floor, the phone does not pick up a signal again for a long time. Sometimes even toggling airplane mode doesn't work. My wife's iPhone does the same thing.
Anybody else having this problem?
Places And Faces Missing From IPhone (iOS 7)
Jun 2, 2014I use Aperture and tag all my Faces from there. I also use several cameras which geotag my photos, so Places is working in Aperture, too. However, on my Phone (iOS 7), neither Places nor Faces are appearing. I understand they are supposed to be displayed in the Albums view, but they're not there?

Maps App Sends To Places That Are No Longer There On IPhone
Jun 26, 2014When I use the google maps app that is pre-set to the iPhone all it does is send me to places that have the name of what I'm looking for on the map but when I reach the place where is supposed to be it's not there. I want to know if it is my iPhone that is broken or if the app is the problem because if it is my phone, it's unacceptable.

Some times when I an driving it rings even the signal is poor. Using iTunes the phone was backed up and restored to factory settings and then back my settings. All these have not worked.

Now you have apple, at&t best buy, radio shack and walmart.I think alot of people will still go to apple and at&t but having it available at these other retailers should still curb the lines a little bit.

Apr 18, 2012My iPhone has fallen out of my pocket a million times and always been fine, no cracks just a few scraches on the back. This morning, it fell out and I assumed the usual had happened. However, I went to type on the open message and the screen wasn't responding on parts of the keyboard. So, I thought maybe it was just a small issue; I turned my phone off then back on. When it turned back on I couldn't even unlock it because the screen wasn't responding and the first number of my passcode was in an unresponsive spot. An elder friend of mine told me all I needed was to replace the screen and that he could do it, if I bought the screen. My question is, would it be cheaper to buy the screen and have my friend do it, or would Apple give me a better deal?

May 21, 2012Im going to the US this summer for a long excursion, i intend to take a large amount of photos on my iphone, i just wondered if i 'places' still worked when 1.data roaming is turned off and 2. if airplane mode was on for obvious reasons i dont want to come back after 3 months and find that i have a phone bill of over a thousand pounds because i left data roaming on.

I have found that there seems to be no correlation between the signal strength (in dBm / asu) in Settings -> About phone -> Status and the signal bars that are shown. Often the signal bars will shoot from 1 to 5 or 6 even with really low signal ( ~97 to > 100 dBm) that doesn't fluctuate.
