i dropped my iphone on the ground and now the screen is going funny. by that i mean it doesn't always click on the things i want and it doesn't let me unlock my phone, what should i do?

i've been noticing that while I'm on apps such as Facebook or Instagram that my phone will start clicking on people's profiles, liking posts, or clicking links unprovoked. I thought maybe it was a problem with the apps, but I started noticing it happening whike sending a text the phone will click on suggested words by itself, and even if I'm just on the home screen apps will open on their own.

I cracked my iPhone 4 two weeks after I bought it on launch day. I sent it in to iResQ last week and they replaced the screen and the proximity sensor issue was gone!
I had the problem even before the screen was cracked, so I'm wondering if it's a hardware issue.
So three months into buying the new iphone 4s I dropped it and broke both front and black glass screens. Does anyone know what I could do to obtain new screens or phone replacement from apple?

View 1 Replies View RelatedSO, today I went to the Apple Store to get my iPhone's screen replaced once again for the same problem. (Dust under screen) This is the 3rd screen my phone has had. So I'm looking at it when I get home, putting on my new screen protectors, and I notice that... Half the screen is dimmer than the other side, (I thought I was seeing things, so I put it against my Mom's iPhone 3G, and I was right...) and now there is a dead pixel. This screen is a dud! I'm sorta tired of my monthly visits to the Apple Store...good thing this is all under warranty. Anyone else had this problem that reoccurs? Or the have dimmed problem? I'm bummed out... I can't get to the Apple store for a few weeks. Guess I gotta deal with it...eh? There was some awesome Customer Service people who made my visit a breeze though!
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo my replacement iPhone 4 clicks when I tap the right side of the screen. I took off my Wrapsol to make sure it wasn't the screen protector. After testing my dad's iPhone 4, I realized the screen or back plate of mine must've been loose.
I immediately booked an appointment at the genius bar for tonight. So I go there and wait awhile for a genius to help me. One finally comes and he asks what the problem is. I explain it to him and he holds the phone and starts tapping it. He does hear the clicking sound and then hands it back to me. He says there will be a software fix coming soon. At this point, I was like "wait... what the heck are you talking about? It's a hardware problem" He claimed it was a software issue and told me not to worry about it. Since it was past 9pm at this point, I decided to not escalate this in some stupid way. I'm just going to call Applecare in the morning. Turns out some of these Apple geniuses aren't geniuses at all.
Before someone says the clicking came from the speakers, I'm completely sure they did not.
whenever i press my screen on the entire left side it clicks. Im not pressing it hard its literally tapping it to open an app.

This morning, it fell out and I assumed the usual had happened. However, I went to type on the open message and the screen wasn't responding on parts of the keyboard. So, I thought maybe it was just a small issue; I turned my phone off then back on. When it turned back on I couldn't even unlock it because the screen wasn't responding and the first number of my passcode was in an unresponsive spot. An elder friend of mine told me all I needed was to replace the screen and that he could do it, if I bought the screen. My question is, would it be cheaper to buy the screen and have my friend do it, or would Apple give me a better deal?

My Iphone 6 is making a clicking noise on the screen when you press on it near the volume buttons and i do t know what to do. I never dropped the phone and i do have a case on it. It is not bent at all. Just one day someone called me and when i put the phone on my check i heard it click. First i thought it was the case so i took it off but u still heard the sound Should i take it to an Apple Store ?

The phone continued to work fine and I kept using for a week before I replaced the screen, following these instructions I found on this forum and using this part from ebay. Replacing the phone went pretty well. Now the touchscreen and other phone features work with the new screen, but the screen has black and/or green lines at the top all the time:
What problem does this look like? Did I get a bad part, or did I mess up while replacing the screen?
I also had one tiny little square rubber part on the table when I was done reassembling the phone, but all buttons are pressing normally and everything, besides the screen, is working. The part doesn't seem important, but here's what it looks like:
After braking the screen in a c903 i ordered a new one off ebay and replaced it, but the image is all wrong, the signal and battery are in the correct place but every theng else is wrong.. its like the resolution is incorrect appart from the indicators. Photos here

i went to replace the cracked screen on an s2, got all the backing of, and started to get the front screen of, and ended up splitting the LCD.so got a front screen with LCD, digitizer, ear peace, use little wise which Im guessing is something to do with the signal. put it all together, and turned phone on, and had no signal at all.

I took apart the storm connected up the screen an then screwed it back up. When I now turn the Blackberry on the back light turns on but the screen remains black. This does not happen if I bring it in the house and let it sit. Battery level shows around 50% this morning after leaving in the car overnight but the same story, can turn on unless the battery is removed.

I just got my E72. Replaced the memory card with a bigger one, then did an update...Now, I lost my shortcuts on the main screen.Bad news is that the old memory card is formatted, so I cant just reinstall by using that. View 4 Replies View RelatedI dropped my Nexus 6 a few weeks ago and it cracked the top left of the glass. I attempted a glass replacement and ended up shattering the LCD. I bit the bullet and ordered a new LCD. I connected the new LCD and booted the phone up. The Google boot screen comes up fine, but once it goes to the spinning orbs before you get to the UI, the screen triples the icon and once it fully boots everything else is in triple as well. Once booted into the UI, there is also a strip about a half inch high that is nothing but colored static dots. The rest of the screen is normal, but basically unusable because of the tripling effect. I would like to attach some pictures but I am not sure how.

It's not software issue, it seems that display is not mounted properly. It occurs even when phone is powered off. Anybody else having this problem? Should I request a new unit? I didn't bought it from a store but from local reseller so i don't know if he'll be willing to replace it for me. Maybe it's my imagination but it looks like typing on that area is slightly unprecise.

I have a 9530 storm that I purchased two months ago, It worked quite fine until a few weeks ago. It started double clicking and freezing at the same time. For example, lets say i want to enter the sms option, i would click it, but clock would open instead. Also if i try to scroll up or down, there will be no response....... This is quite annoying to me because i am trying to run a business using the phone as a communication medium. I read a million forums all saying to check memory, close apps etc but its a fairly new phone, i have no second gen apps, and internal memory of 41mb, so im baffled.

I tried to push a little harder on the screen and it seems its under the screen. But the screens is fine when its on no issue ot whatever. But its annoying hearing those click when you push the screen a little harder.. I tried to remove the back case to be sure its not the power/volume button that I'm hearing.
View 2 Replies View RelatedRecently my Storm2 has been clicking alot louder than its supposed to. Sometimes it will click normal, others it will click like 5 times as loud. It sounds like something under the screen might be loose. The clicking almost has a squeak to it. Anyone else have an issue like this? It doesn't happen all the time. It comes in bursts maybe a few times a day and lasts for awhile each time before going back to normal click. Its starting to get really irritating.

It feels like its clicking 3 or 4 times and it has never done this before. I'm running .451 and have been for a week or two now. View 4 Replies View RelatedRecently I discovered that when I navigate to a particular contact (it just happens to be the people I talk, email, text with most often) their information doesn't open up when I click on the trackpad.This only seems to be happening with specific contacts and not the majority of people in my address book.At this point I can only get my frequent contact's specific information (phone numbers, email addresses etc) by clicking the trackpad to find their contact name, clicking again on the menu key (I cannot click view either) and then selecting email, call, sms, mms etc and only then can I do the specific task.This is a new problem so I'm wondering if I've turned off some feature on my frequent contacts when I updated my FAcebook app on my phone.
View 1 Replies View RelatedEver since I got my 1020 a few weeks ago, there has been a problem where it will start ghost clicking/switching menus on its own. This can happen for several seconds or sometimes won't stop until you power the screen off. Sometimes it will get to the phone menu and call people on its own which is a big problem. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to it and happens several times a day.
I bought the phone 'like new', so there is no warranty obviously. I don't think it had ever been used before however because there were zero marks/scratches and it was totally spotless when I received it, so it can't be misuse from the previous owner.
My phone has just started giving annoying little clicks when I open the screen up or close it. I can't find anywhere in settings) sounds to turn this off.
