View 1 RepliesWhy the lens focus & open vibrate quite hard and even clicking sound? Is this normal? I never drop my phone higher than 2 centimeter.
View 3 Replies View RelatedThe past week my phone has started not responding and just having a black/blank screen. I can tell it's running, I get notification sounds and stuff, but it just won't respond. I can reset it by holding the power and volume up button, and that seems to fix it for some random amount of time, but eventually the screen will die again.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo my replacement iPhone 4 clicks when I tap the right side of the screen. I took off my Wrapsol to make sure it wasn't the screen protector. After testing my dad's iPhone 4, I realized the screen or back plate of mine must've been loose.
I immediately booked an appointment at the genius bar for tonight. So I go there and wait awhile for a genius to help me. One finally comes and he asks what the problem is. I explain it to him and he holds the phone and starts tapping it. He does hear the clicking sound and then hands it back to me. He says there will be a software fix coming soon. At this point, I was like "wait... what the heck are you talking about? It's a hardware problem" He claimed it was a software issue and told me not to worry about it. Since it was past 9pm at this point, I decided to not escalate this in some stupid way. I'm just going to call Applecare in the morning. Turns out some of these Apple geniuses aren't geniuses at all.
Before someone says the clicking came from the speakers, I'm completely sure they did not.
I bought Lumia 800 couple days ago and was very satisfied. But now i have a problem. When i tap on screen on top right corner area screen produces clicking sound. It's not software issue, it seems that display is not mounted properly. It occurs even when phone is powered off. Anybody else having this problem? Should I request a new unit? I didn't bought it from a store but from local reseller so i don't know if he'll be willing to replace it for me. Maybe it's my imagination but it looks like typing on that area is slightly unprecise.
I am providing video for you to hear. Noise is from computer fans but it should be enough for you to hear the clicking on screen

I have been on marshmallow for about a week now on my Nexus 5 and I have been getting tons of audit artifacts. This happens in spotify, amazon music, and Smart AudioBook Player.
I have reinstalled these apps and cleared their cache with now joy.
One thing Samsung does right is allow you to close all running apps at once. Is there an application that can add that functionality to my Nexus 6?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI started noticing that this week. From the recent app window, when I Swipe an app left or right to close it, the app hangs/freezes at the edge of the screen before it completely goes away. It's so strange and annoying.
I cleared both app and device cache and still same lag. I'm running everything stock and I'm on 5.1.1
Experiencing lag swiping away open recent apps?
Device: Google (Motorola) Nexus 6
Android Version: 5.0.1
Kernel Version: 3.10.40
Rooted (As Boolean) = True
Summary: Ever since Google Photos updated, the app force quits whenever attempting to access the Device Folder.
Troubleshooting steps performed:
Force quit Photos
Cleared Cache + Data in the Photos app
Uninstalled Photos updates (App will not run unless updated)
Cleared Google Services Cache (Read about it on the internet)
Cleared dalvik-cache (Why not?)
Restarted device (like a boss)
Booted into Safe Mode (Power>hold Power Off>Press OK) = same results
How to resolve this issue besides a factory reset.
I upgraded to Marshmallow over the weekend and the "close all" button is not included in Marshmallow. When I have a list of apps open I need to close them one by one. Is it not possible to close all open apps in one go?

View 3 Replies View Relatedi've been noticing that while I'm on apps such as Facebook or Instagram that my phone will start clicking on people's profiles, liking posts, or clicking links unprovoked. I thought maybe it was a problem with the apps, but I started noticing it happening whike sending a text the phone will click on suggested words by itself, and even if I'm just on the home screen apps will open on their own.
Info:
iPhone 6, iOS 8.1.1
In the mid-night, I just want to grab an URL, open barcode scanner, after scanning, I close my app and I heard a click (physical click) from my phone.
Then I open the barcode scanner again, wait for the auto-focus stuff, press Back and "click" again.
Now I open the camera app, wait for auto-focus completes, press Back and "click". This happens every time auto-focus finishs and I quit the app.
I believe since my last android update. When i receive MMS messages , I can't open them... When I click download it's downloading for a few minutes and then it just tell me message not downloaded. Touch to retry... I Have a nexus 5 therefore I only use hangouts.
View 1 Replies View RelatedOne day (just like this, I don't remember doing anything special with my phone), the camera completely stopped working, along with the lamp. (The situation right now) :
1. Camera doesn't show up in the application drawers
2. It DOES show up in Settings/Applications, and in "My applications" tab from Google Play, but I cannot open it in any way. When I could, however, it would just crash away.
3. I am also unable to access the stock lamp from anywhere (quick settings, etc.)
THE INITIAL SITUATION AND THE EVOLUTION OF THE PROBLEM :
1. I was running CM12.1 (nightlies) on my Nexus 5, and I beieve it occured after an update, but I don't believe it really has much to do with it. When I tried to open the camera, it would show me "unable to get a link with the camera" (translation may not be exact) and the system lamp had disappeared
2. I tried to downgrade the phone, to an earlier nightly, but it didn't fix it.
3. I've done every kind of wipes : Data, Dalvik, Cache, even Internal Storage
4. After a full Internal Storage Wipe, I reflashed fresh Marshmallow images from the official website, unrooted, reflashed stock recovery, relocked the bootloader and used the system factory reset again on my phone.
5. After this, the problem changed a little bit. The lamp is still impossible to find, but however this time the camera is too. What I mean is, on CM, it used to show up and crash, now I can't find it in the app drawer ....
Recently I discovered that I could not open PNG type file attachments. LP would just spin it's wheels with no display. The solution was to install an app which could handle PNG file types ... Fast Image Viewer.
Then I realized I needed more control over which apps are used with specific file types.
(Similiar to Windows Open With option.)
I discovered the app ... Better Open With ... which permits the user some control and visibility.
BOW permits the user to set the default app used to open each catergory of file types.
You also can change the default app as desired...and override the default if needed.
The app replaces the Android "Complete Action Using" function.
So far so good ... I have more control! I do wish it listed the actual file types ... not just file categories.
Ever since the 4.4.4 update, I've noticed if I get a notification when the screen is locked, turn on the screen and pull the shade down, it won't go all the way down the first time. I have to do it twice.

The problem started on yesterday, when suddenly the speaker didn't work. Tried to switch on and off the volume, and sometimes it does come back! But most of the time it silent.
i accidentally delete this file "nexus 5/system/music/0" and now I couldn't open the music file anymore.i also could not copy any files to it.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI got my N5 since 2 months (and love it), but i got this weird sound coming almost every time i phone... It's hard to describe but, most of the time, it consists of 3 small quick "knocking" sounds... it happens like 1 min after the call begins, and happens mostly one time (one series of 3 knock knock knock)...
View 2 Replies View RelatedThe new Facebook Messenger (the UI overaul version), introduced a nice new notification sound for incoming messages. I was interested in extracting the sound from the app but I can't find it anywhere in a File Explorer.
FYI - I'm using Stock 4.4 Nexus 5 out of the box.
I am not talking about the "Facebook-pop.mp4". The newest version of the app introduced a newer sounding noise. It almost sounds like a water droplet.
How to get it?
I'm using an N5 with stock 5.01, rooted with twrp. During the night I used to use a tasker profile for when sleeping that did pretty much what priority Mode does by allowing my started contacts calls and messages to get through and alert me. With priority Mode now available, I use tasker to just trigger that instead.
But I'm having an issue with my messages. I use Handcent as my default messaging app and when I get an sms from a starred contact when in priority Mode it does not sound. I installed google messenger to check and when it's set to default messaging app I get the notification since no issues. Switch back to Handcent and no luck again.
I use Handcent because I like the pop up alert in it, but more so because I can schedule sms messages for a particular time, which is a feature I do use a bit. So if rather not change from it. Why the alert doesn't sound in Handcent during priority Mode.
I'm not sure but i think my nexus kinda has a very low sound output during voice calls.. I can barely hear anything at full volume in a not so loud environment..

Im uses to an iphone and there when you were inside the specific conversation there wasn't any sound, which makes total sense... Is there anyway to change that or at least another sms app that works the way??
