This only happens when I leave it in the car over night. The phone will be dark and won't restart unless I remove and replace the battery.
This does not happen if I bring it in the house and let it sit. Battery level shows around 50% this morning after leaving in the car overnight but the same story, can turn on unless the battery is removed.
I have the zero lemon battery extender in it.
I just replaced the battery in my IPhone 3GS and I still can't get the phone to turn on?

I replaced my batter on my iphone 3gs and then it will only turn on when i connect it to a power source. After it has turned on you can take it off charge and it will stay on...

i went to replace the cracked screen on an s2, got all the backing of, and started to get the front screen of, and ended up splitting the LCD.so got a front screen with LCD, digitizer, ear peace, use little wise which Im guessing is something to do with the signal. put it all together, and turned phone on, and had no signal at all.

Why? -- and more importantly, is there any way to get your selected lock screen wallpaper to show up without this dark filtering?
I'm aiming for a very minimalist look for my lock screen. All I want visible on the lock screen (aside from the wallpaper) is the status bar at the top. I managed to hide everything else but I can't seem to get rid of the clock...
Plus, the time is already in the status bar so having a big clock on the lock screen is redundant.
How to get rid of the clock? Even i there was a way to recolor it or something maybe that would work in some cases. For example, if I could make it black then it wouldn't be visible against the current wallpaper...
My device is rooted and I have Xposed framework installed.
So I've had my T-Mobile Galaxy S6 for 9 days and I noticed a dark shadow or spot on the right side of the screen. I thought it was the lens or the plastic film covering the lens. I was wrong and it appears the issue is with the sensor itself. T-Mobile is sending me another unit.
This is an expensive piece of tech. So make sure you check everything the first days you own it to ensure you are not stuck with a defected one.
I have noticed for about a month or so, when some apps update automatically (most recent was facebook this morning) my home screen wallpaper picture gets removed and the plain green backround is there.
I then have to go back into wallpaper to reset it. I am using a Samsung Galaxy5.
So all of the pre-installed lock screen wallpapers come up in full color when you unlock the device. Now when I set up my own lock screen wallpaper it basically fades to the background and is very dark and almost black. The clock and camera, phone icons are bright like normal. Is this the way it's suppose to be? Do I maybe need to move the wallpaper I want to use to where the lock screen wallpapers are?

I cracked my iPhone 4 two weeks after I bought it on launch day. I sent it in to iResQ last week and they replaced the screen and the proximity sensor issue was gone!
I had the problem even before the screen was cracked, so I'm wondering if it's a hardware issue.
So three months into buying the new iphone 4s I dropped it and broke both front and black glass screens. Does anyone know what I could do to obtain new screens or phone replacement from apple?

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy Bold 9700 is not recognising the contact name for SMS messages properly. But it is a different problem to what others have described. When I receive a message, it shows the contact's name correctly (which was the problem others had I think).But then if I turn off the bb and remove the battery, then replace it and turn the phone back on, none of the SMS messages have the proper contact names - it just shows either their phone number, or their name if I have them stored on my SIM. What's more, this problem only occurs if the contact's phone number is stored with spaces and brackets in it [ie, +64 (21) xxx xxx].
I realise I could go through and add everyone to my SIM card or remove the brackets and spaces from contacts' phone numbers but
a) this wasn't a problem before (on 8310 and 8520) so should be able to be fixed
b) my SIM card wont fit all my contacts anyway
c) phone numbers are hard to read without spaces and brackets
d) it's such a waste of time!
My software version is 5.0.0.344 (which is actually later than what I can download!)
I dropped my phone last week and shattered a part of the screen. The phone continued to work fine and I kept using for a week before I replaced the screen, following these instructions I found on this forum and using this part from ebay. Replacing the phone went pretty well. Now the touchscreen and other phone features work with the new screen, but the screen has black and/or green lines at the top all the time:
What problem does this look like? Did I get a bad part, or did I mess up while replacing the screen?
I also had one tiny little square rubber part on the table when I was done reassembling the phone, but all buttons are pressing normally and everything, besides the screen, is working. The part doesn't seem important, but here's what it looks like:
After braking the screen in a c903 i ordered a new one off ebay and replaced it, but the image is all wrong, the signal and battery are in the correct place but every theng else is wrong.. its like the resolution is incorrect appart from the indicators. Photos here

I recently had the LCD replaced on my iphone 4 this week. I keep getting blue/green lines on screen. I have to do a reset then it's fine until the next time also I have added a energizer charging case it seems that's when the lines started.

I took apart the storm connected up the screen an then screwed it back up. When I now turn the Blackberry on the back light turns on but the screen remains black. So I'm looking at it when I get home, putting on my new screen protectors, and I notice that... Half the screen is dimmer than the other side, (I thought I was seeing things, so I put it against my Mom's iPhone 3G, and I was right...) and now there is a dead pixel. This screen is a dud! I'm sorta tired of my monthly visits to the Apple Store...good thing this is all under warranty. Anyone else had this problem that reoccurs? Or the have dimmed problem? I'm bummed out... I can't get to the Apple store for a few weeks. Guess I gotta deal with it...eh? There was some awesome Customer Service people who made my visit a breeze though!

- I tried to register all the numbers in my HRT but not able to recieve the registration email, only after almost 30mins or so...
- also i realised i have many items in my HRT containing GPRS SG... and Wi-Fi... is this normal?
