IPhone :: 2 Minutes Delay In Opening Email?

I check my mails several times a day like the most of you, all of a sudden my iphone 4 decided that I can only do that once after I start the app ??!? If I want to check again 1 minute after and the app is "open" it takes ages (about 2 minutes) before it actually checks the server ?? It's like a 2 minutes delay...
However, if I close the app and open to check again.... it's no problem. So basically I have to close the app (by double clicking the home button) EVERYTIME to be able to check my mails.... isn't that strange ?

I have an LG G3. When I open an email I get a white screen for several minutes. I will open an email then read a couple FB posts before I can actually see the email. It can also take several minutes to actually update or delete emails. It has taken me 40 minutes to open and send 6 emails.

When I receive a text with a photo and I tap the photo to open it, there is about an 8 second delay before the photo opens. Is this a known issue? Or just me?

My Bold has stopped receiving eMail automatically. It seems as if 15-20 minutes go by and then I receive all the email sent within that time frame. I can't find where to change a setting so that as soon as I receive on my desktop it's on my Berry.

There is a delay between the time when an email is sent until when it appears on the phone. The delay is often several hours, sometimes days. Most commonly, i get a batch of emails in the morning when the phone turns on, but i don't get any more emails for 3-5 hours. Usually, i get several at the same time in another batch sometime in the afternoon. How do i get emails to download more frequently automatically? Is there a way to manually ping the server to check for new messages? Not sure what the "reconcile now" function is for, but it doesnt seem to do anything.
My phone is a blackberry bold 9700 on OS 6. Only email account is hotmail. Carrier is t-mobile.

We are in the migration process of email Server, we will migrate all the users (POP 3) to Microsoft Exchange 2010. We had facing a problem for all the Blackberry mobile users, which mentioned that every single email will have to take 20 min to 30 min in order to transmit from Exchange Server 2010 to Blackberry mobile users. This is actually a big issue due to our top management users are blackberry users. We have performed a test, in which the email from the Exchange 2010 will only take 1-2 minutes in order to reach an Android phone or IPhone (using Active Sync).

I have problem with email on my Motorola Razr. (not gmail, not corporate, just a email)I have setup email account and:-In Data push account is checked.-Sync over Wi-Fi only is unchecked-background data is checked- data Enabled is checked- No data saver checked.I can check my email manually it is work.- If I receive a new email up to 30(not sure) minutes after manually checking the push email is working fine i get it on my phone.- But if I receive a new email more than 30 minutes after manually check the push email does not work. The Hangout messages on my Nexus 5 are not constantly updating. I will be in a regular conversation then nothing for maybe 30 minutes. Then, messages from the past 30 minutes all pour in at once. I thought it was a Hangouts issue but I have noticed it at times with my GMail also. I am using Straight Talk on AT&T's towers.

I have a problem with my touch screen. It works for 1 or 2 minutes and then it stops working for 2 or 3 minutes, this is a loop ! if I don't use for a couple of hours it will work more, about 15 minutes and then stops working !!! whats wrong with may iphone, which part is damaged ?:(( when touch screen stops working, all keys work correctly, home key & others )

I recently installed 5.0 on my tour and i have 2 gmail accounts. One of the gmail accounts, the emails only come in every 30-40 min in a batch; the other account seems to be working fine. Any ideas what could cause this problem. I pulled the battery a few times but still nothing.

I use Gmail to forward everything to my handheld. but when I login to gmail i cant see whats new and unread because when i open it on my phone it opens it on gmail.

I have been able to read email attachments before (.pdf, word, .xls) but for some reason,I can no longer receive them. There is an attachment which cannot be opened which is a winmail. dat file.To my knowledge, I have not done anything to stop the attachments opening!I upgraded to Version 5 of the software in the hope that this would resolve the problem, but it did not. I can however open .jpg files.I synchronise with Outlook which is still working normally and I can see the attachments OK in Outlook.

I just got a blackberry curve. I want to delete an e-mail without opening it but cannot find an option to do this. When I have the e-mail open and I hit the menu key (the one with the spots) there is an option to delete. I would like to be able to do this without having to open the e-mail.

I have recently upgraded to OS 6 on my Bold 9700. I'm on BIS. I have 4 email addresses on my BB - 1 gmail, 1 googlemail, and 2 POP from the same domain. I can open attachments (have docs to go and attachment service) on all but one of the pop addresses (''this attachment type cannot be viewed on your device'). have resent service books, registered HRT (?) and double checked I have both docs to go and attachment service. I know it can do it because it does it for the other three..am I missing a simple setting somewhere. Oh, and I've tried quite a few battery re-boots.....

On my Droid X2, I would like the standard email app(POP3 for Cox) to open in folder view, inbox, sent, deleted, etc and not default to opening to the contents of the inbox. Is this possible?
Also, I moved a message from my sent folder to the inbox and then decided to move it back. Inbox and Trash are the only locations available when I select the message and then select move.

When i receive email to my emails inbox on the laptop it can be upto 15mins before my 8520 receives them. I was told by someone that it automatically searches for emails every 15 mins but was just pondering as to whether or not i can changes this so it is faster?

Earlier today, my BB started doing something weird. When I get a new email, I highlight it and press the trackball to open it, but it opens the previously received email instead. If I hit the back button (taking me back to the email list) and then hit the new email again, it still takes me to the previous email. The only way to open the new email is to scroll up to the date and then back to the email, which will then open the correct one.
Also, if the new email is highlighted and I delete it, it deletes the previous email instead.
I've tried a battery pull and it doesn't help. I'm on a TMO 9700 running OS .330.

I recently bought an iPhone 4S and in general it works great.However, my partner owns an iPhone 4, and when comparing the wakeup time defined as: * Leave the phone locked for around 30 seconds* Press the home or the lock/unlock button (it's irrelevant, this is not a mechanical issue)* Wait until the lock screen appears The one in the iPhone 4 seems to be shorter by around 0.5s. I know it is not much, but I find it a bit disappointing given that this is such a frequent operation. My only guess right now is that this is caused by: a) My particular iPhone 4S which is faultyb) All iPhone 4S are a bit slower to wake up, maybe due to the A5 or other hardware changes?

I noticed between me and my buddies phone that there's a half second delay between the two. Opens apps the same speed and everything else, just when I click the home button to close there's a delay before it does something. Anybody else notice this compared to earlier model 3gs

I have the problem that when I type something with my Iphone like in Whatsapp or the Messanger or something else it will stuck and after like 5 seconds the typed will pop up in an instant. Also today I restarted it with pressing the Home button and the Power button at the same time and it got to the connect with Itunes screen. I`ve connected it and it works the same as always. The Keyboard gets stuck nearly all the time.

I was one of the first couple of dozen in the store on the west coast. I had the Apple Store rep activate the phone for me. He did what he had to do and said it would just be a matter of time. I left.
I came home. It's been two hours and still showing "No Service." 1-800-AppleCare is either busy or disconnects me after a dozen rings.
I called AT&T, and the rep said they were briefed that due to so many activations (thanks a whole helluva lot Europe and the east coast ), activations were delayed with no time estimates given. The AT&T rep did offer to take down my land line number so someone would call me later in the day to confirm or deny that the activation has taken place.
Anyone else with activation delay issues?

After I updated my iPhone 4S to iOS 5.1 when I press the button it takes about 1-2 seconds for the display to light up for unlocking. Before updating the iOS it lighted immediately.
