I have the problem that when I type something with my Iphone like in Whatsapp or the Messanger or something else it will stuck and after like 5 seconds the typed will pop up in an instant. Also today I restarted it with pressing the Home button and the Power button at the same time and it got to the connect with Itunes screen. I`ve connected it and it works the same as always. The Keyboard gets stuck nearly all the time.
My xperia neo SI number is 1246-9893 purchased in UK and using in India right now. Some how I was managed that PC Companion recognizes my neo tried for update. After multiple error messages from PCC i.e "unable to connect to server" it showed software is upto date.I searched other thread and SI number is still not exits.Would like to know delay of providing 4.0.4 update for some SI numbered phones are because of considering fixing bugs raised by users who has updated their neo phones? It seems people are facing issues from every corner of phone with ICS update. Are these things are considered while providing ICS update for remaining NEO users ?
I updated to 5.1.1 on my Verizon iPhone 4 32MB when the notification popped up. Since then I have had difficulties with the keyboard. It does not pop up reliably when I touch a text entry field. When it does not, the Paste command appears instead. When I turn the phone off, and then back on, it appears to work correctly.
I bought an iphone 14 months ago. Sunday I did the required update and it killed the keyboard function entirely. Isn't it lovely that Apple cannot fix or replace the unit that their own software destroyed at no cost to me ($200 plus tax to get a replacement). I have two more years to pay on my contract and I don't understand how a company this large can leave their customers (ME!) high and dry like this. I could understand had I damaged the phone by being careless or if the product was something cheap, but I took care of this expensive product and Apple should be accountable when their upgrades destroy a persons property.
My keyboard is sluggish and there is a lag when texting, using Safari, emailing, etc.I have an AT&T iphone 4 with latest software updates and it is terrible compared to my friend's 4s with Verizon.
I recently bought an iPhone 4S and in general it works great. However, my partner owns an iPhone 4, and when comparing the wakeup time defined as: * Leave the phone locked for around 30 seconds* Press the home or the lock/unlock button (it's irrelevant, this is not a mechanical issue)* Wait until the lock screen appears The one in the iPhone 4 seems to be shorter by around 0.5s. I know it is not much, but I find it a bit disappointing given that this is such a frequent operation. My only guess right now is that this is caused by: a) My particular iPhone 4S which is faultyb) All iPhone 4S are a bit slower to wake up, maybe due to the A5 or other hardware changes?
I noticed between me and my buddies phone that there's a half second delay between the two. Opens apps the same speed and everything else, just when I click the home button to close there's a delay before it does something. Anybody else notice this compared to earlier model 3gs
He got his when they were first released and I got mine 2 weeks ago
I was one of the first couple of dozen in the store on the west coast. I had the Apple Store rep activate the phone for me. He did what he had to do and said it would just be a matter of time. I left.
I came home. It's been two hours and still showing "No Service." 1-800-AppleCare is either busy or disconnects me after a dozen rings.
I called AT&T, and the rep said they were briefed that due to so many activations (thanks a whole helluva lot Europe and the east coast ), activations were delayed with no time estimates given. The AT&T rep did offer to take down my land line number so someone would call me later in the day to confirm or deny that the activation has taken place.
After I updated my iPhone 4S to iOS 5.1 when I press the button it takes about 1-2 seconds for the display to light up for unlocking. Before updating the iOS it lighted immediately.
I check my mails several times a day like the most of you, all of a sudden my iphone 4 decided that I can only do that once after I start the app ??!? If I want to check again 1 minute after and the app is "open" it takes ages (about 2 minutes) before it actually checks the server ?? It's like a 2 minutes delay...
However, if I close the app and open to check again.... it's no problem. So basically I have to close the app (by double clicking the home button) EVERYTIME to be able to check my mails.... isn't that strange ?
I recieved an update to the pop up keyboard the other day but when I try to insatall it I get the following "unable to update ukeyboard some application packages required for the update are missing" I have had a couple of updates before and they have all installed fine, so anyone know whats going on as I have not removed or uninstalled anything so scatching my head with this one.
I used PC companion to update my Xperia pro phone to ICS today and now am experiencing the issue where slide out keyboard is recognised as azerty instead of qwerty.
Tried searching Nokia's website, but website just hangs. Tried calling the support number, but number just disconnects. Tried sending online email, but doesn't go anywhere. Tried reading my phone's literature, but no joy there either, as it doesn't address the 2 questions I have. Don't really no what's going on with Nokia, so this support discussion is my last resort. Just bought E63. And I have a couple of questions. How to check firmware version? And if firmware version is out of date, how to update? How to get keyboard backlight to turn on?
I am getting a keyboard issue in xperia pro after update. The QWERTY keyboard has got changed to AZERTY after i updated to Android 4.0.4 ICS firmware. how to correct this back urgently. Is it possible to roll back to Gingerbread?
I recently updated my Xperia Pro (MK16i) with ICS 4.0.4 updates, everything else is working fine except the keyborad. I tried every setting present right now but my keyboard in working, Now I only Have on screen keyboard which is a bit annoying.
I did my Mini Pro update yesterday, and after it I got issues with keyboard - A/Q and Z/W changed and I got also troubles with symbols. They arent on places that they should be.
My daughter locked her iPhone 4s and can't remember the pass code. We plugged it into the PC and backed it up/synced phone which reset the automatic time delay, but doesn't unlock it.
confirm that the belle refresh update won't kill my qwerty I'm pretty much satisfied with the E7 belle i have now, it's stable and fast and beautiful. A few extra widgets would be nice, but i need to make sure this won't kill the qwerty or cause other problems with my device. I'm 100% satisfied with my E7 the way it is now,
I gladly installed the 2.1 update on my girlfriends mobile and everything worked fine. However, under "Settings - Language&Keyboard" there is NO menu item for Android keyboard.... As it appears, she uses the standard T3 enty mode and simple does not like the recommended words. There is no way to set it back now and I am thinking about playing it back to 1.6 despite the advantages coming with it.
I recently bought a Xperia Mini Pro and updated today to ICS 4.0.4. I updated using PCC and then did a repair also using SUS. [No Flashing] Everything went fine except the physical keyboard settings I guess. Because after updating, when I started typing using the physical keyboard, the key wasn't matching. I mean, I typed something and something else appears.
After i updated from v30.something to the latest version, v40.0.005. I updated so i could get free navigation with ovi maps. Now i don't have the choice of full-screen qwerty keyboard anymore! I can only choose between alphanumeric, mini-qwerty or handwriting.
