I can see that I have received texts and emails, but when I scroll to that and push on the pearl nothing happens. This just started today after my 3 year old was messing with the phone, but I cannot fix it.
View 1 RepliesI find that if I text someone and we reply several times that after a 4-5 replies that the message then refuses to open. It starts when it won't let me scroll up to read earlier messages within the chat, then if I go back to my inbox and try to open the message again it won't open at all. If I try to start a new message to the same person it won't let me text them and I need to delete the message before I can. That can be a problem if I need to keep the text for some reason.

But its only for one person...I can open other messages other than this one.To open the message, I have to go to New SMS--- To: (their name)---OK. as if Im sending a completely new message to them.And when it does open their message from this point, the area is blank. theres just the arrow pointing by what they said, cant see anything else.Any ideas? Batt pull does not work, and Im running the latest OS for Storm.I have uninstalled and re installed the os 3 times.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a number of texts on my old 8220 that I want to keep; I recently got a new 8220 but startd using it before I had transferred the data from the old one so have a new set of texts to keep.
I made a back-up before transferring the data, but it doesn't seem to be possible to have the texts from both devices as the transfer substituted the old set for the new rather than adding them as I expected. way to combine the two sets of texts?
I own a pearl 8100 which has worked great until recently. I have not been able to make or recieve any calls, or send and recieve any texts. The only thing i have to go on is a flashing blue arrow on the top right hand corner. It usually doesnt come on until i try to make a call which always results in a call fail. Not sure if this is relevant or not, but the phone is unlocked. It was originally from T-mobile, and its currently on ATT's network.Things I've tried.
-Hard reset
-Memory reset
-Turning off the radio signal and back on
-firmware is up to date
I'm not sure what information is necessary to solve the problem, but if you need to know anything just lemme know.
When I have these two numbers listed in my address book, I am unable to send texts to them. Only once I remove them from the address book can I send them an SMS. What is wrong?

I use Gmail to forward everything to my handheld. but when I login to gmail i cant see whats new and unread because when i open it on my phone it opens it on gmail.
I have been able to read email attachments before (.pdf, word, .xls) but for some reason,I can no longer receive them. There is an attachment which cannot be opened which is a winmail. dat file.To my knowledge, I have not done anything to stop the attachments opening!I upgraded to Version 5 of the software in the hope that this would resolve the problem, but it did not. I can however open .jpg files.I synchronise with Outlook which is still working normally and I can see the attachments OK in Outlook.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have recently upgraded to OS 6 on my Bold 9700. I'm on BIS. I have 4 email addresses on my BB - 1 gmail, 1 googlemail, and 2 POP from the same domain. I can open attachments (have docs to go and attachment service) on all but one of the pop addresses (''this attachment type cannot be viewed on your device'). have resent service books, registered HRT (?) and double checked I have both docs to go and attachment service. I know it can do it because it does it for the other three..am I missing a simple setting somewhere. Oh, and I've tried quite a few battery re-boots.....

It can also take several minutes to actually update or delete emails. It has taken me 40 minutes to open and send 6 emails.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI check my mails several times a day like the most of you, all of a sudden my iphone 4 decided that I can only do that once after I start the app ??!? If I want to check again 1 minute after and the app is "open" it takes ages (about 2 minutes) before it actually checks the server ?? It's like a 2 minutes delay...
However, if I close the app and open to check again.... it's no problem. So basically I have to close the app (by double clicking the home button) EVERYTIME to be able to check my mails.... isn't that strange ?

On my Droid X2, I would like the standard email app(POP3 for Cox) to open in folder view, inbox, sent, deleted, etc and not default to opening to the contents of the inbox. Is this possible?
Also, I moved a message from my sent folder to the inbox and then decided to move it back. Inbox and Trash are the only locations available when I select the message and then select move.
Earlier today, my BB started doing something weird. When I get a new email, I highlight it and press the trackball to open it, but it opens the previously received email instead. If I hit the back button (taking me back to the email list) and then hit the new email again, it still takes me to the previous email. The only way to open the new email is to scroll up to the date and then back to the email, which will then open the correct one.
Also, if the new email is highlighted and I delete it, it deletes the previous email instead.
I've tried a battery pull and it doesn't help. I'm on a TMO 9700 running OS .330.
