HTC :: Status On Official Nexus One Car Dock?

I know Google said in january a car dock was coming. Any ideas when? The house dock is amazingly awesome, and the only thing thats holding me back is lack of a good car dock.I'm currently selling my iPhone (simply because I can sell it for so much, and still make a profit after buying a Nexus One), and will get a Nexus One, but I'm spoiled right now as I use an XM Skydock in my car.I just don't want some cheap aftermarket universal dock, I want something that fits just as good as the house dock.

So just purchased my nexus 6p and after reading the index by Heisenberg, I came to know that I have four updates to install. So downloaded all serial wise.
But the problem is when I boot into stock recovery and select apply update from SD card it says sdcard not mounted. So how to solve this.
Second thing after mounting can I apply all updates serialwise one by one and then reboot or do I have to apply an update and then boot then apply the second one and so on.

I wrapped my Nexus One with the SGP Shield (similar to Invisible Shield, BodyGuardz, BestSkinsEver, etc.) and apparently the contacts on the Desk Dock charger have no tolerance for variance. I can only get the charge contacts to connect if I push down on the phone against the dock at a specific angle, but as soon as I left it sit by itself, it loses it.Any other suggestions for a decent dock, perhaps a landscape one? Alternatively, any thoughts on how I could make this one work? Perhaps a tiny spot of solder on the pins?

I'm looking to get a Nexus 6P, but I'll be using it for around two years (give or take, depending on what devices I can choose from in two years), and I've heard that AMOLED burn-in may become prevalent within a year or so. For some probably won't notice, even I probably wouldn't if I didn't find out that burn in exists, but I'm paranoid, so I'm thinking to use GMD's Hide Nav Bar (Root) app that I've been using on my Nexus 4 (for the sake of extra screen real-estate).
I'm wondering if this will minimize and effectively prevent burn-in of the Nav/Status bars? My main concern is the Nav bar, as Samsung's devices don't have them, making burn-in far less of an issue.

Are there any mods that allow it? There were a few that don't work with MM so I am looking for an alternative.Would be nice if Google defaulted to that instead of the solid black bar. I can do it from within my music player app. It just fills the screen more and makes it look classier in my opinion.I'd even go for an almost transparent navbar as well.

Somewhere along the way I lost the "Reply, Delete" and body of messages in my notification window(just have a single height notification). I've uninstalled anything notification related, and reset Gmail back to factory, but haven't had any luck.

Unknown icon in status bar.
It's a circle with 2 dashes in it in the top left corner (not on the right!) Running Marshmallow on a Nexus 5 with Nova Prime.
I assume it's from a fairly recent app download but I can't figure out which one and I have lots, do not want to delete them all trying to find out....

So never had this problem on another phone before. I noticed a couple times this week where I doing something on the phone, and look up and my clock is like 15 min (or whatever) behind. Not sure if it's related but it seems to happen when I lose connectivity in so much as everything says I'm connected to WIFI or LTE but no data is moving. I'll have to keep an eye for that one but the time thing has me concerned.

Having problems when sending messages to my service provider e.g. Balance check. Message status remains 'sending'.
Am suspecting i have some invalid setting however not sure which. This used to work fine until recently and my service provider confirmed that set up from their end is enabled correctly.

I tried Lollipop for a loooong time and now I'm sick and tired. I downgraded to 4.4.4 but I have a persistent notification in the status bar saying that the new system update to android 5.0.1 is available. But I don't want it!
Is there a way to disable that notification? It is very anoying. I tried to download FOTAkill.apk and put it in system/apps with rw--r-r- permissions but doesn't work. I know that the simplest solution is to install a custom rom but I am very happy with stock rooted + xposed + modules.

Got my nice new nexus 5 and its 3 weeks old and I must say its soooo damn good to not have all the stuff put on to other android phones. This phone is simple and uncluttered, love it.
Just one little niggle. When in settings then into "about phone" and then into "status", it shows your phone number. Can some one tell me why its not my phone number. Did not think much of it until I started filling out info on my google stuff and it auto entered some info incuding the phone number, which was of course, wrong.
Simple questions really.
1. where has this number come from.
2. why is it not my number.
3. how do i change it.

i remember using APP SETTINGS xposed app on previous android versions on my Note 2. But this is not working on my nexus 6P.
I don't want the message content to be shown in notification bar. Any possibility.
Also i am using TrueMesssenger sms app which is displaying PEEK or headsup notifications even after turning off the PEEK option from app info.

I assume it's from a recent app but have uninstalled several and can't figure it out. It's a Nexus 5 with Marshmallow and Nova, not rooted. (see screenshot)

I bought the Atrix just for the docks (I have the car and lapdock) and after spending that much money I expect better from Motorola. I've updated to gingerbread if that help. The car dock hasn't rebooted the phone as much as the lapdock does but my lapdock is now useless.

It is so ridiculously annoying and pathetic that Motorola made a Photon 4G Q which won't be able to use original Photon 4G's accessories?I just bought Motorola Photon 4G HD Dock & Nav Dock and realized that Motorola Photon 4G Q has its HDMI & micro USB slots in different location than the original Photon.So that your loyal customers give you more $$$ to buy new accessories?

I'm on my second Motorola Standard Dock for the Droid. In each case the dock worked fine for a short time, then phone suddenly stopped going into "dock mode" when inserted. The connection is OK: Still charges the phone. Just no dock mode features, which is why I bought the dock in the first place. Tried every combination of seating while turned on/off, seating then turning on/off, powering and de-powering dock, etc. No dice. Phone docks fine and enters car dock mode with car cradle. Using provided charger(s) with dock(s). Have not tried full reset of phone due to hassle of reinstalling apps, etc., but powered up, removed battery, etc. Am I really so unlucky as to get two defective docks or is there a software issue here?

I have a spare iPhone 4 which is currently not in use. It is out of contract and was bought at full price. I did the AT&T process and I got the email from AT&T saying that I can unlock it by doing the restore. Now when I do that I do not see the unlock screen and using tmobile shows SIM Failure. During the process I gave AT&T my phone number which I use on a blackberry and not the iPhone. Does it matter that when I restore the iPhone, the SIM inside has to be of my phone number that I gave AT&T? Or it should unlock no matter if I use any sim (even tmobile) during the restore?
