Feb 19, 2010My Sprint/Metro PCS HTC Diamond's touch screen all of a sudden stopped responding.If it had a keyboard like the PRO would've been no problem but NO KEYBOARD.Even though I did a PIM backup and had my old PRO handy and now connected I really want to see if I can get it back to life!!I opened it yesterday (thinking maybe it got loose and I could "just" connect it right) and could not get all the way to the screen so I decided to leave it alone, for now..Googled and all I got was GMS videos and stuff so I was wondering that maybe someone here has done it and could help me get to the screen and replace it...

HTC :: Diamond How Important Is Updating Device?
Jan 2, 2010I have the Touch Diamond and with the first handset I got I was able to update windows from the device with no issues. I had to return this unit and received a refurbished one which I've been using for about 10 months with no issues but the windows update doesn't work.upon calling my carrier (Rogers), the guy told me they recommend I not update it from the handset rather I should do it through the PC.How important is updating the device? And where could I find it online?

Mar 21, 2010Recently I had my Spring HTC Touch Diamond modified and programmed to work with the Page Plus Cellular carrier, which uses the Verizon network. I believe the guy who did this for me used these programs to do so. Anyway, the problem I'm having is that although my phone is active on the network and I have a data plan active, I can't actually use it for some reason. I've entered the correct username/password (from what I've researched) and it still hasn't worked. I've tried to fix it myself for a few months to no avail (I came across the link about during my research and that's how I concluded that these were the programs installed on my phone). If anyone could help me with alternatives or maybe show me something I might be overlooking.

Feb 13, 2010Yesterday i successfully upgraded my E52 to latest firmware - 031.012. After upgrade i removed all previous email accounts (1 MFE, 1 pop and 1 imap) and start a new setup.i have to mention, that i double checked that the email client version has updated to 2.1.0 (the old one was 2.0.5). There are also several visual changes during the email setup.
Now here is my issue: I recreated my exchange email account and it works perfectly, but when i try to add a second email account (Email->New), choose one of the providers from the list (Windows Live for example) and proceed here is what happens:
1. I get a promt to enter email address and password
2.Then "Validating settings" and "Downloading terms" progress bars start
3. After "Downloading terms" progress bar completes i am returned at the page where have to choose email provider again
Is there someone with similar issue as mine when has upgraded to 031.012?

Jun 25, 2011I just replaced my old blackberry yesterday...Activated it and had no issues. I can send emails, I can call. It looks like I receive facebook notifications. I am not receiving emails. I have sent multiple test emails. I Have pulled the battery, I have checked firewall settings. everything seems ok. no issues sending emails from my blackberry.

Oct 13, 2011Since BB service was restored today I was hoping to get my email back but I cannot receive any incoming email. Sending email works fine but I cannot receive. I have rebooted my BB several times but it is not working.I also tried adding another email account to see if that one worked. The new account shows up in the email setup list but it doesn't appear on my homescreen for some reason. I then tried to delete one of the accounts a had setup before and I have a similar problem. The account no longer appears in the email setup menu, but it still shows on the homescreen.I have a BB Torch 9800 and I am on the Telus network in Canada

Sep 8, 2010After doing the upgrade i been having troubles with blank sent messages and not receiving messages for over 4 hours after the sender sent them. Then i get all messages at on time sometimes up to 6 or 7 messages , i can send them but not receive . Also i get this "uncaught exception : ApplicationRegistry.waitfor(0x9850447e783b0596) timeout " ever since the upgrade also usually after connecting to dtm or removing the battery . Service provider told me to go back to the original 4.6 version that the device came with, where do i find the 4.6 software ? Or does anyone have any suggestions to fix the 5.0 version ?

Jun 11, 2012I used to have Alert Matrix for my BB and it allowed me to assign specific alerts to email contacts that I had. I could turn it on and off so if I was waiting for an important email it would alert me but things like spam or unimportant mail were silent. It was almost like my phone was a pager because the alert would continue to sound until I acknowledged it. Is this possible on an iphone?

May 28, 2010I upgraded to 5.0 (i guess) and now i am experiencing problems with email. I can no longer reply to a message from my BB, reply comes up but after composing reply, there is no send option. Also, pre-update I was able to choose deleting from BB & computer, or just BB, now it is only deleting from BB. This I can deal with but I need to be able to reply to messages from my BB, afterall isn't that one of the reasons to have a BB??
I have the Curve 8530.
