Nov 17, 2010i have tried everything i know and read. every time i delete all unwanted emails (google mail) firstly it reads no conversation, then i can go to another folder, when i come back to the trash folder all the deleted items are back again. ive synced, unsynced, synced now,deleted, removed account then restored, trash folder is empty on my comp bout will not empty on my phone.

Jun 5, 2015This is not covered in the Voicemail support, and when I searched Google for the string in the Subject of this post I got 0 relevant hits (closest match was how to restore a deleted email from Trash on an S4).
1) Tap the Voicemail icon on your home screens
2) Tap the Arrowhead icon on the right-hand side of the Inbox title bar (see attached image) to drop-down the Voicemail Folder Menu
3) Select the Trash folder (see attached image)
4) Select the Voicemail message you desire to recover
5) Tap the 3-dot icon for the Trash folder context menu in the lower-right corner (see attached image)
6) Choose Restore to Inbox from the menu (see attached image)
Galaxy S5 :: Deleting Trashed Emails From Trash Folder
Jul 8, 2014I'm having a problem deleting all my trashed emails. Since I've gotten the S5 I've been getting rid of emails quickly. They also reside on my PC's Outlook so I decided not to have 875 emails cluttering up the S5. I use the combined view for my 2 non-Gmail accounts. All was working well until recently when there appeared to be 52 emails that remain even after I select all. 42 are from one account and the other 10 from the other account. I've tried deleting the trash from each account separately but the 52 keep reappearing when I "Show all folders" in the combined view (and the 42 from one and 10 from the other when I look at each account).
How can I delete this peskly "deck-of-cards" (52) emails? I guess the most drastic would be to delete the two accounts and start all over, but I'm curious to know how it might have happened in the first place.
Here's a picture of the situation. The only difference in the 3rd image is that after I delete, what shows as remaining in the trash is 52.

Jul 2, 2012prior to ICE after deleting e-mails I could see a list of my e-mail folders, go to the trash folder and empty it. I have been trying but can't seem to find how to go to those folders. I can't seem to trash my photo either. I know I am missing something here but just can't figure out how to do it.

1. I Have to mail-Accounts set up on my E52 (one pop the other IMAP).Both have inbox, outbox and sent but no box for deleted objects.The German handbook does not say how to change that.
2. Since the last update (I guess) the phone deletes messages from the (POP- ) server when deleted on the phone. Is there any way to prevent the mail client on the phone to do that?

Aug 7, 2015Once in trash, there are no menu options to recover / move an email message in any way. Cannot move to another folder (i.e. In Box), Reply, or Forward as I could with my S6. Only menu options under More are Edit (then Add Star or Mark As Read), Sort By, Delete All, Settings (View as, Autofit, Notifications, Spam, Confirm deletions). Verizon store personnel couldn't find how to do it either. I use Earthlink email, but this was never a problem with previous phones. So frustrating!!! I can Bcc myself on ones I send to be sure I have a copy in case of Sent deletion, but no way to retrieve messages received and deleted.

Jul 28, 2012I have an SIII but no one seems to be viewing those forums so I thought I would ask here. I've always stored my music in folders sorted by artist and never bothered with tagging as long as the file names started with numbers. I have over 300 gigs in music so I'm not about to start tagging now. my 32 gig sd card has 4500 music files.The music player doesn't play nice with my sorting - artist view winds up showing the same artists 10 times or sorts out compiltation albums while folder view has every single album (300-400 or so) sorted alphabetically.
I would like to go into the external sd card and play directly from there. I can do that, but only a single track will play and you can't use any other apps or browse when the track plays. Am I stupid or something?This is the main reason why I've always used Cowon music players or my sansa clip, I can simply go into folders and play. I have media monkey and love it but even there I use the folder directory.

Mar 4, 2015I recently purchased the (2014) Moto X for one of my fellow employees. He is an apple fan boy, so when it was his time for an upgrade of course I got him an Android device (with the notion I had 30 days to return if necessary)
He loves the device, his only gripe has been that he cannot click on phone numbers to dial out directly from the email app or the outlook app. He can however click on phone numbers through his Gmail app and it go straight to the dialer.
