According to tech support, the only way to empty the android email trash bin is to delete each email individually. With over 3000 email in trash, my thumbs would probably fall off.
Does anyone know of a way to completely empty the trash bin. Failing that, anyone know of an app that can empty the trash bin?
It gives me the message There was a problem syncing this folder please try again later. This has gone on for days. I tried turning sync off and on a few times and restarted my phone. No go.
Using inbox. I started using this app a few weeks ago. I delete an email, it goes to the trash. How do you empty the trash? If i long press on the email it comes up with a trash can. Don't press that because it just moves it back to the inbox. Not sure how this works.
i have tried everything i know and read. every time i delete all unwanted emails (google mail) firstly it reads no conversation, then i can go to another folder, when i come back to the trash folder all the deleted items are back again. ive synced, unsynced, synced now, deleted, removed account then restored, trash folder is empty on my comp bout will not empty on my phone.
Because the "delete" softkey is so close to the edge of the phone I inadvertently deleted an important email. It is in the trash, but I cannot return it to my inbox, nor forward it to myself.
prior to ICE after deleting e-mails I could see a list of my e-mail folders, go to the trash folder and empty it. I have been trying but can't seem to find how to go to those folders. I can't seem to trash my photo either. I know I am missing something here but just can't figure out how to do it.
My razr started to play up a couple of days ago, i had increased phone usage and it was getting quite warm and then the touch screen wouldn't work - ie couldn't end phone calls, then today the battery died after using navigation - and now will NOT turn back on....
I can delete individual emails from my inbox. However, when I go to Trash folder there is no method to delete the Trash contents. Searching the manual gives zero information. Searching online has not been much more productive. The methods I've seen in independent forums don't work for me.
That is, when I take a photo, the shot shows up as a preview for a few seconds, but then the thumbnail in the upper right corner of the screen, which is usually replaced with the most recent photo, is replaced with a blank/black image. If I attempt to open the photo from the Gallery, it is a black/blank image. If I navigate to the folder when connecting my phone to a PC, the file shows up as 0KB, and if I try to open it, I recieve an error message to the effect of "This file cannot be displayed because it is empty."I've tried powering down and pulling the battery. That worked once, and hasn't worked again after several attempts. I also tried clearing the app's data via the "Settings > Applications > Manage applications > All menu", to no avail
On my Nokia N8 once I've sent an email I cannot see it again in my 'sent' box. I know that people are receiving the emails but I have no record of them.
Once in trash, there are no menu options to recover / move an email message in any way. Cannot move to another folder (i.e. In Box), Reply, or Forward as I could with my S6. Only menu options under More are Edit (then Add Star or Mark As Read), Sort By, Delete All, Settings (View as, Autofit, Notifications, Spam, Confirm deletions). Verizon store personnel couldn't find how to do it either. I use Earthlink email, but this was never a problem with previous phones. So frustrating!!! I can Bcc myself on ones I send to be sure I have a copy in case of Sent deletion, but no way to retrieve messages received and deleted.
I am using BB to connect to my Groupwise (IMAP) when an email is deleted off the Blackberry selecting "delete message - on Mailbox & on Handheld" the message is completely deleted from the Groupwise mailbox, it does not move to trash. Anyway, I can get around with it.
Somewhere on my iPhone there is a folder that can be accessed to recover an accidentally deleted email. I know it is there but cannot find it now. I know this is not a difficult question, but my brain is fried now that I need to recover it.
I have a Samsung Galaxy 5S and have email set up. In my trash folder it shows that I have 1345 items but when I click on trash I cannot see anything in that folder. I am suspecting that these are "junk" emails but how can I get rid of them. It is now telling me that there is not enough space so cannot view any other emails. how to see these "trash emails" so that I can delete them? All of my other email folders are empty.
I am using ios 5.1. When I check mail I have a few emails that are dated 1/1/70 have no sender no subject and no content. And the phone won't let me delete them. It just doesn't give me the delete option for those emails.
On my Droid Razr Maxx using Corporate Sync with the built-in email client attached to an Exchange 2010 server, when i receive an email that is digitally signed (but not encrypted) any and all attachments do not come with the email. (no paperclip symbol). I receive all other attachments fine when the email is not digitally signed.Using Verizon Wireless as carrier.if the signed email was sent to my Gmail account all attachments appear as normal.
When I set up my DroidX, I set up my e-mail account using my Verizon.net email account. I would like to remove this account, but can't find how to do this under the e-mail app settings, nor does the Verizon account show up under Accounts
I have the icon showing up that I received emails but the inbox are empty. When I pull the battery the icon goes away. With the next regular email the icon shows up again. I don't want to have to pull the battery every time I have an empty inbox.
