View 2 RepliesRecently I had my Spring HTC Touch Diamond modified and programmed to work with the Page Plus Cellular carrier, which uses the Verizon network. I believe the guy who did this for me used these programs to do so. Anyway, the problem I'm having is that although my phone is active on the network and I have a data plan active, I can't actually use it for some reason. I've entered the correct username/password (from what I've researched) and it still hasn't worked. I've tried to fix it myself for a few months to no avail (I came across the link about during my research and that's how I concluded that these were the programs installed on my phone). If anyone could help me with alternatives or maybe show me something I might be overlooking.

The reason for this is I want to be able to have Direct Connect but my BB Curve 8330 from boost doesnt have that feature.

I have unlocked my Touch Pro 2 and have tried to call into Boost Mobile Customer Support multiple times any they will not activate it because it's not 'Boost Equipment'. I have told them my new phone is a gift and I don't know what it is and things of that nature but they ALWAYS ask me for the DEC number and I'm not sure how to get around that. I currently have a Sanyo Incognito hooked up to my Boost Mobile Unlimited Monthly account. I need to know if anyone can help me get it activated? I have spent way too much money on this phone to just have it sit there and do nothing.
View 12 Replies View Relatedso I just recently update from 4.7 to 5.0.0.732. I can't get the darn thing to provision to save its life. I don't have BIS/BES since it's on Boost but the data did work before, at one point at least As of right now I can make/answer calls, send/receive SMS. No MMS and no Web, GPS, etc. My status says 1xev and I need it to say 1XEV. Whenever I try to Register Now (Host Routing Table) it never provisions, whenever I attempt to Update Profile, or Update Preferred List it says that it can't complete request. Any options I need to change or steps to take different? BTW Data did work on 4.7 and 5.0.0.6## and people have reported that it does work on .732
View 4 Replies View Relatedokay, right now i have a sprint-branded touch pro on boost cdma unlimited yet am having trouble with features like sprint tv and navigation. voice/text/internet works (for the most part), but sometimes i get the occasional code 67s and #777 errors. i've read elsewhere of folks who have their tps fully working, but can't find any instructions on how they achieved this. i am fairly certain it involves changing some addresses to route differently, and also have my msn, meid, and msl if that helps. can anyone here assist me in this process? for what it's worth, i've searched ppcgeeks and xda in addition to our own forum.
View 3 Replies View Relatedafter arguing with sprint for hours and trying to "legally" get PAM added to my account with no avail, i got tired of arguing and hung up and decided to see if i could get around it on a BB while still having a decent plan.well you can.
These instructions are at your own risk, and while i was able to do it to both a curve and a pearl, and im assuming since all BB's are about the same it should work on the tour and 8830, it's at your own risk.
I am not posting this from my normal username, as it's a little risky for me to do so so please know that i've had plenty of posts on here and been around since '04 Ok so here goes.Step 1: Install QPST 2.7 build 215 (this is very important, no other one will work, find it yourself )
Step 2: Obtain your MSL/SPC from Sprint (if you dont already have it)Step 3: Get your PowerVision Username (if you dont know it, you can do ##xxxxxx and press call from the homescreen x=msl/spc, it's the [URL] in the list)Step 4: Start BBDM and QPST Configuration at the same time, then once you add the port to QPST, selct "Service Programming" from the drop down menu.
Step 5: Select your phone in the list, dont worry it will act like it doesnt know the chipset model, select SURF6300 BB from the list and say OK
Step 6: go to the MIP tab Step 7: Create a new MIP profile that looks just like this (except in the NAI and Tethered NAI, you'll enter your PV username) -- once you're done you will have two profiles, the first one im assuming is for provisioning and i wouldnt mess with it.
Step 8: click "OK" then "write to phone", it will give an error about the model changing on com X, do you want to close the connection?, say NO it will write anyway, then you will get another error about the phone not responding.. that's because it rebooted.Step 9: once the phone reboots, create a manual DUN connection (i assume if you're on here and understand how to use PST you can make a DUN connection ) with the connection as follows:

i have 2 htc diamond, and the one i am using the earpiece is quite low, so can i switch out the ear piece from the phone i am not using, will it damage anything on the phone, bc its hard to hear the other person on the other line when i am using the phone,

I had to return this unit and received a refurbished one which I've been using for about 10 months with no issues but the windows update doesn't work.upon calling my carrier (Rogers), the guy told me they recommend I not update it from the handset rather I should do it through the PC.How important is updating the device? And where could I find it online?

The other other app that I know is running is Roadsync (for my emails) I am connecting thru T-Mobile internet. Is that the right setting? I mount the phone in a holder on the dashboard near the windscreen. Why can't the phone find a signal? It doesn't seem to make much difference whether it's a clear day or overcast.

View 3 Replies View RelatedOkay, I send a friend of mine some pictures I took with my unlocked Omnia i910 and they tried to set them as wallpaper on their i465 Boost mobile phone, but when they press the menu button there is no option to set as wallpaper like with the pictures that were taken with their phones camera.I didn't know if there is a hack or unlocking method to undo this restriction that Boost put on their phones, I will be the one doing this, so that is why I am posting and not them.
I have unlocked and modded several phone before, did a google search on the i465 and only found pay sites, which is not what I want since I did pay one site 9.99 for the unlock code in the past and their code screwed up my phone.
