View 3 RepliesI am having an issue where I have headphones or an external line to an amp plugged into my phone, I start Google play music, and the sound is just fine, but if I wake my phone the sound and volume increases quite a bit almost like boom sound kicking in even though it's always on?

View 14 Replies View Relatedi have a torch 9810, haven't had any problems until now. There is no sound with the notifiers, only vibrate even though i have set them up with sounds and the sound profile is on normal. this is a recent development, it always worked fine before. Even my alarm didn't sound this morning.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just had trouble today with my torch, all of a sudden my incoming call audio does not work if it's handset mode but if it's in speaker mode I can hear the caller but audio transmit is not possible, the person at the other side cannot hear me when the phone is in speaker mode, i have to put into handset mode but in any case, there is obvious problem on the receiving/outgoing side.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI put my phone on silent and locked it. It then started playing unknown audio of some american man speaking ( it sounded like a cheesy advert) extremely loudly , and it wouldnt stop or switch off in the conventional way. I then took the battery out and it stopped. I have taken the battery out again since I do not want it to start going off while i am in work but obviously I don't want to have to do it all the time. Any ideas what happened. At the time my Wifi and 3G were on but not bluetooth. It's a Blackberry Torch 9800 and i've never had any problems before. Its worht saying that after turning it on and leaving the office to see if i could work out what was wrong with it, it didn't do it again, and i went into every folder/app and nothing out of the blue happened.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI use Torch 9810 to record conversation (client meeting) , once I press "record button" it works fine but recording automatically stop every 5 minutes, e.g. if meeting last 1 hour I will have to press "record" button 12 times (every 5 minutes).
Does anyone know if it is possible to disable this constraint (5 minutes) in 9810?

I am using an audio cable to connect my torch to my car's Aux jack. Once connected, music won't play through my car's speakers. It only plays through phones speakers.
I've got my IPhone 3G 16GB, soon I will get the new IPhone that will be announced, but now I am really annoyed with my current IPhone speed. It is slow in comparison to 3GS and iPad. I know that there hardware differences, but is there any way to boost up my iPhone a little? Maybe restoring, and just keeping few applications will help? Now I have about 35 applications installed.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIs there any way of boosting the GPS Signal, either via an app or an external antenna, or any software tweak?I like to use Wisepilot in the car, but 9 times out of 10 there is no GPS signal available, or it drops the signal most of the time, rendering the Wisepilot unusable. The other other app that I know is running is Roadsync (for my emails) I am connecting thru T-Mobile internet. Is that the right setting? I mount the phone in a holder on the dashboard near the windscreen. Why can't the phone find a signal? It doesn't seem to make much difference whether it's a clear day or overcast.

View 1 Replies View RelatedBought this peice of garbage Boost Rambler which worked 48 hours before going belly up, got it fixed (maybe, haven't been able to try it), now Boost won't allow it to be reactivated. That's a Boost problem. Selling a defective phone is a Motorola problem. A quality company would stand behind their purchasers.

View 4 Replies View RelatedCame from LG G4 that didn't have these issues with the same apps.
Sometimes the audio will work fine (notice this more when I'm on WiFi) but sometimes, in all apps (snapchat, facebook, regular gallery view) the video will play but the audio will cut in and out.
Not sure what it is. Phone is rooted (systemless) and is running the EX Kernel. I didn't mess with the audio settings in the EX Manager...
This is a huge issue for me as I spend a lot of time on Snapchat, Instagram and YouTube (I'm a vlogger, etc.).
I've had two Razr's behave the same, whenever audio plays, especially using the headphone jack and external speakers, one can hear an audiable click or pop just before and after the audio plays. This happens with Pandora, Rhapsody, and Google Navigator. I haven't tested other audio based apps yet.Verizon and Motorola say they've not heard of this issue, so I'm wondering how many other Razr owners have noticed this pop? Hearing such noises as the audio turns on and off is not acceptable quality for a Motorola branded phone.I don't know enough about how the Android OS works, but I'm thinking there are two possible causes. First, as different apps access the audio hardware the internal electronics of the phone produce an audible pop as the circuits power up and down. Alternatively, the Android OS may be probing the headpone jack trying to determine if it's connected to external speakers. I've noticed that the pop gets louder as the phone approaches 100% charge.
With a 90% charge or better I've even had the audio output go quiet if the headset cable is moved, even though the audio application shows audio is playing. I know that removing the headset cable will pause the player, but in this case hitting play starts the player and it shows progress, but no audio is heard.
I've been using my Moto Droid, running Android 2.2.2 for some time now. Up until recently, I've been able to use it to listen to Pandora and mp3s loaded onto the phone. Now, any time I plug a set of headphones into the audio jack, the audio is really distorted. It sounds like a channel is out or something, and this happens across all volume levels. It pretty much sounds like you're listening to music underwater. Doesn't matter if it's streaming adio through Pandora or mp3 audio. When I unplug the headset (any headset, mind you) and go to external speaker, the audio is fine.

View 3 Replies View RelatedOkay, I send a friend of mine some pictures I took with my unlocked Omnia i910 and they tried to set them as wallpaper on their i465 Boost mobile phone, but when they press the menu button there is no option to set as wallpaper like with the pictures that were taken with their phones camera.I didn't know if there is a hack or unlocking method to undo this restriction that Boost put on their phones, I will be the one doing this, so that is why I am posting and not them.
I have unlocked and modded several phone before, did a google search on the i465 and only found pay sites, which is not what I want since I did pay one site 9.99 for the unlock code in the past and their code screwed up my phone.
when i was searching the internet and i seen numerous people with these phones that were sprint Pro 2 phones unlocked to boost. Is there a guide where i can flash my phone so it can be used with my boost sim?

View 2 Replies View Relatedhave had my iPhone 4 for the last week. I'm quite tired of people telling me to turn up the volume...it IS all the way up both using the buttons on the side and the slider...the picture tells me it is at max...I'm not deaf (yet) and the phone is CONSIDERABLY quieter than my Palm Pre (call volume not music). There is no plastic film over the earpiece. I have had six people in the last week say "yeah, that's the only drawback of an iPhone...but you'll get used to it." I'm not sure I'll get used to it. With so many skilled programmers out there, you would think with so many questions all over the web, we'd have an answer by now. I will pay the first person to send me a link to an app that actually increases the volume (amplifys the current in-call volume) to the volume of at least the Pre (not that great a phone or difficult a task...lots of music boosters out there, must be a way to boost the volume of the call), not using a head set, not using bluetooth, not using speakerphone: $50.00USD.
Info:
iPhone 4, no plastic film on phone/earpiece
ive had this phone for a couple weeks, its not as great as my droid 1 but i cant complain its a kool phone, my problem is the volume for music, i thought it was my headphones so i went out n bought some sony $79.99 headphones n they sounds amazing, but the volume is low!
ive tried all the volume boost programs but none work, my music player "player pro" has a EQ that i can raise the DB it helps but i know it can go higher, because i tried to download a program called "Volume boost" installed it does nothing but for some reason i changed it downloaded as ZIP format and when i extracted it from "androidzip" as soon as it was done the volume BLASTED my headphones it was amazing, but when im done listening to music and listen hours later or somthing its back down, so i have to keep extracting the zip, somtimes it works and somtimes it doesnt but i do DEFINATLY know that the volume can infact go up higher, program that works when wanted?
