I put my phone on silent and locked it. It then started playing unknown audio of some american man speaking ( it sounded like a cheesy advert) extremely loudly , and it wouldnt stop or switch off in the conventional way. I then took the battery out and it stopped. I have taken the battery out again since I do not want it to start going off while i am in work but obviously I don't want to have to do it all the time. Any ideas what happened. At the time my Wifi and 3G were on but not bluetooth. It's a Blackberry Torch 9800 and i've never had any problems before. Its worht saying that after turning it on and leaving the office to see if i could work out what was wrong with it, it didn't do it again, and i went into every folder/app and nothing out of the blue happened.
Came from LG G4 that didn't have these issues with the same apps.
Sometimes the audio will work fine (notice this more when I'm on WiFi) but sometimes, in all apps (snapchat, facebook, regular gallery view) the video will play but the audio will cut in and out.
Not sure what it is. Phone is rooted (systemless) and is running the EX Kernel. I didn't mess with the audio settings in the EX Manager...
This is a huge issue for me as I spend a lot of time on Snapchat, Instagram and YouTube (I'm a vlogger, etc.).
My sensation xl has random lag when playing music with the standard player, it halts for a few milisec and then continues. It happens about every 15 sec but also sometimes several times in a row. I've tried turning off beats audio, wireless and mobile broadband, turning performance power setting on, but nothing changed.
I know there's been posts about distorted audio in both the voice recording apps and video apps, but I think I have a different situation. I take a lot of videos of bands at small music venues - usually more for the audio then being worried about perfect video quality. My iphone 4 excelled at this - the sound was always great and sometime my HTC sounds really good but other times it gets really distorted. For examples below, it's the same app, same settings, same venue, same band and almost the exact same position in the bar and in the first video the sound is pretty clear (at least as clear as it's going to be at a punk show) and in the second it's really distorted. I guess mainly, I'm wondering if this has something to do with the AGC (automatic gain control) and if there's any tricks I can do to get the best results.
I dowloaded about 50 songs to my 16GB Motoactv. Listening today, random music starts playing. It is in MP3 mode and is not the radio. I scrolled through the songs on the device and music that I have never owned and never downloaded to the device is on the device.
i can play divx movies in my x3-02, but there is no audio. i have tested it to all divx movies that i have here. when i play Internet videos, it doesn't have any problems though. my problem is only when playing divx.
There is a specific audio video file, in which the video is getting played on Xperia Z2, but there is no sound. I have tried the default Video player and also the MX Player. The format is as below. Is the Audio Codec is not supported on Xperia - Z2: Â Format : AVC Container: Matroska (mkv) Resolution: 1920 x 816 Frame Rate: 23.976 fps Aspect Ratio : 2.35 Video Codec: X.264 Audio Codec: DTS-HD. recently my alarm has been acting up. i just did a restore the other day to see if it would fix the problem and it happened again this morning. the alarm tune is set on the antelope. no matter what profile i am using ( vibrate, silent or loud) sometimes it plays this very soft 3 short tone tune. i went into the tune file to see what the name of it is...but there is no tune that sounds like this, trying to recreate this problem will just sound off the antelope tune, my phone is always plugged in when this happens. *also im running TELUS .320, before i was using Verizon .607 and i thought that was the reason*
i have noticed recently that after i receive a video or txt msg with sound that after i view the msg and get a call or use my ptt and hang up it plays the sound from the msg. it stops after i do a restart but what cases it?
The phone works fine apart from when I listen to music with my headphones plugged in. For the first 10-15 minutes there is no problem at all. Then what starts to happen is the volume starts to decrease automatically right down to zero. I can actually see this happening on the screen as it is decreasing. Even though I try to turn it up it is battling with me & wants to turn the volume down. I don't tend to get this problem with the headphones I got with the phone but it seems to happen with some decent headphones I prefer to use.
I did read a post earlier about disabling "fast boot mode" in Settings >> Sounds but I cant even see anything regarding "fast boot mode".
I am using a Lightning to 30-pin connector cable to hook my iPhone 6 and my wife's iPhone 5c to our first-gen Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin. The audio from two separate (different developers) ambient noise apps will not pass through but the audio from the "Music" app passes through fine.Â
Yes I've closed apps and restarted my phone, but nothing is working. Bought that $40 cable for these ambient noise apps and now might have to take it back.Â
Info: iPhone 6, iOS 8.1.1, Lightning to 30-pin adapter
Phone randomly crashing? I've had nothing that ties the crashes together, but I've had at least a dozen in the 48 hours I've had it. I've made sure the phone is up to date with updates and all apps are updated. I can't think of anything. The only thing close to common is with a few crashes I was playing audio.
I've deleted the message with the audio attachment and I didn't save it anywhere? Everytime any tone plays on the phone it que's up this audio and I can't stop it?
very annoyingly Tidal on the LG G3 seems to intermittently but consistently play small "audio pops" during songs, this is the same irrespective of earphones used etc.
My Sony Z5 has a problem where if headphones (or an official headset - I've tried both) are plugged in, the audio plays through the accessory BUT continues to play through the phones speakers AS WELL.Â
Noticed short pauses or gaps in sound when playing back any sort of sound file? I'm using Bluetooth headsets of various types like jaybirds, Jabra solemate or jawbone jambox.
I'm using PocketCasts and the media is on the phone for that. Also using doubletwist and it's media is on SD.
Took me a long time to notice it because some podcasts aren't the greatest quality. Thing is if I rewind and replay that section it usually plays fine meaning the phone did something wrong.
My phone recently upgraded its software (wiping out everything on the phone in the process), and ever since it will no longer allow me to listen to audio through the sync Bluetooth. Doesn't even seem to want to work when hard wired into the console. Phone works fine for calls, just not audio. Verizon was clueless.
I want to send a message to nokia that nokia team you have to make a software for playing mkv dual audio format videos on symbian belle or you have to solve this problem with next software update for symbian belle. I have used nokia's s40v2,v3,v3a,s60v3a phones but now i am using nokia's symbian belle it is not impressive me like those phones.
When my phone is connected to my car (2014 toyota RAV4) and i am listening to audio (i.e. pocketcast) and I get a call, the audio does stop for the phone ring but when I pick up, the audio begins to play again during the phone call and the pocketcast app disappears from the notification bar also so I cannot stop it manually. Please note that the podcasts I listen to are not streaming, they are pre-downloaded. Why this is happening? Is this a Lollipop bug?
Over the past several weeks, while not being used (ie lock screen) my phone has randomly played about 10-20 seconds of audio while the screen remains black. It has consistently been from what seems to be a video where the person is showing a DIY for auto repair. When I unlock it i do not find any video apps open. I have not viewed any videos like this but this seemed to start after i was looking at some cars for sale online.
I would think it is a problem in my settings but dont know enough to know what it would be. Pandora use to play all of the time in the beginning but about 3 weeks ago it would play 4-6 songs then stop. I would have to shut it down and bring it back up to get it going again. I uninstalled/reinstalled it yesterday and now it will stop on the first song. I thought it might be Pandora but it is doing the same thing on audio podcasts.
Very happy with my Atrix 4G (running 2.3.4) and I've invested in 3 docks: desk, car, and laptop.
I've recently started having problems when using the phone (on battery) playing audio through a bluetooth speaker. This happens with music on the phone with the default Android music player, with Audible's player (for books), and the Pandora music app. Since that's a mix of local and remote (WiFi) content it can't be a WiFi problem.
The problem does not occur when the phone is powered (via the car or laptop dock).
I've searched high and low for an auto app shutdown setting, but can't find it. BTW, Battery Mode is Performance.
With large movie files (greater than 500MB), there is audio distortion while playing during action sequences or loud volume dialog (does not occur with audio files or as far as I can tell smaller video files).
After a hard reset on 8.1 lost all audio. Not only is their no sound, when pressing a ringtone or play in Spotify there is no touch response to show the sound is "playing".
Didn't notice that every video I record after my last update , can only record audio and video the first minute or less and then for some reason playback stops but you can still listen to audio. This has happened to all my recorded videos.
Read somewhere on the internet that you have to delete DATA and clear CACHE on the Camera app, have not recorded any video since then, but will try to see if this works.
I have N5 with latest Marshmallow updates (November 2015) rooted with ElementalX kernel installed. I have a very strange issue that while playing any local (not streaming) audio file, it plays with double or triple of its speed.
I used several apps to make sure it's not application based issue, the same occurs.
I've owned the MotoActv for two month, I got the mysterious "moisture issues" that everyone seems to be getting even though I've never used it in the rain. But the thing that is driving me nuts is the music. When I hit random shuffle of all my songs, I hear songs I don't want to hear... song that I do not own on my computer. Where are these songs coming from? Today I heard "Boot Scoot Boogie!" I abhore country music as does my wife. Doing a computer wide search shows no evidence that the song exists on my computer. Yet there it is playing in mile four. Other mystery songs have showed up too. The performance music playlist seems to be filled with songs I never heard of, yet evidently I perform well to them.
I'm having trouble with video playback on my Storm. I put movies on that I have used and have worked before, and now will not. When I play movie it gets the green loading alert in corner then starts to play the audio only with no video. I am on .419 shrunk, is it possible it removed something to play video. My recorded movie from camera do playback.
