Jun 3, 2015Using 5.02 and the email client only syncs when I update the time period or incoming server settings. I have two other accounts, one pop and one exchange, that work without issue. This imap account won't sync. If I delete and reinstall it works for a while and then the problem comes up again.

May 13, 2012Email retrieving works okay, but after a few minutes some emails just disappear. Check all settings, changed push settings, resetup accout, rebooted, you name it I've tried it. But I still keep loosing emails. The server keeps all email, and other accounts are no problem.

When Delete Email From IPhone 5s Also Deletes It From Server
Jun 30, 2014I am brand new to the iphone (5s) and have a problem when I delete email from phone it also deletes it from the server and it's not available to on my PC inbox. I found the area in settings where it shows what happens to the deleted email on the phone and server. It sends the deleted message to the trash folder on both the phone and server. On the server, it shows all the various folders in my account including the inbox, but the inbox is greyed out and I can't change to that. Is there a setting somewhere where I can make it stay in my inbox on the server.Â
I was a Blackberry user before I just got the iphone and that is the way they handled the emails (not deleted from inbox on server).

May 4, 2012I wondered if there is someone that can help me. I have an iphone 3g and have my aol email account set up on the phone. It was working fine before I went away on holiday but since I have returned I am unable to send emails as iit keeps saying that the recipient has been rejected as the server does not allow relaying. I did not use my phone while I was away except for texting so didn't change any settings. I have read through similar questions and have tried all of different things suggested (turning off wifi, although it was never on wifi it was using 3g), making sure that both the primary server and the other SMTP servers are set as on and the details are filled out but still nothing works. Originally it was only set up with the primary server ticked as on and I never had a problem with it. I've also tried turning the phone off and on again several times and tried the power off and holding down the home key at the same time.
