I deleted an incoming message from my Iphone4 expecting it to still be available on my computer and discovered it had been deleted from the server. It has been working correctly up to this point.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI had previously had two accounts email accounts on my Bold and completely deleted these, including going through service books to insure removal and pulling battery to reset.
When I reset one of these, the other appears and while mail for the first is received, mail can not be sent.
How can I break some sort of relationship between these accounts and my Blackberry services (BIS). These accounts are through two differet service providers (GoDaddy and GMail).
Additionally, I deleted other unneeded email acocunts yet one account (unrelated to the two above) still remains in my Contact Options. How do I remove this? Bold 9900, 7.1 (998)
I got a new BB and transferred all my info from my 8320 which I'm giving to my son. Problem is I can't seem to delete the email accounts I transferred. I don't want to do a general wipe as some of the info on the phone already is useful for the new owner. I've hidden the icons for now but just want to delete them. When I go to email setup I'm not seeing the emails and all I get is an option to setup new accounts.

Email retrieving works okay, but after a few minutes some emails just disappear. Check all settings, changed push settings, resetup accout, rebooted, you name it I've tried it. But I still keep loosing emails. The server keeps all email, and other accounts are no problem.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm posting this because I'm nearly going nuts every time I send a captured photo by using my N86's built in photo sending option (I view the image and in the toolbar select Send with the envelope icon).
I choose to send my photo by email, and when I get to entering the email adress, I get 2 suggestions for email adresses - my old email adress and my new one. This is annoying because I quite often by accident pick the old email adress (the adresses are almost the same) from the list and can't understand why I don't receive my photo, until I check and find out I sent it to the wrong address..Is there some way to remove these suggestions?
I recently inherited a Curve 8530 from a previous employee at my company that still has his email associated with it. The phone has been given a new number w/ data plan, but in order to remove the old email account I need the old email password. The company no longer has contact with said employee, and so I am stuck with a phone that I am unable to use email on until I find a way to remove the old account. I am brand new to the iphone (5s) and have a problem when I delete email from phone it also deletes it from the server and it's not available to on my PC inbox. I found the area in settings where it shows what happens to the deleted email on the phone and server. It sends the deleted message to the trash folder on both the phone and server. On the server, it shows all the various folders in my account including the inbox, but the inbox is greyed out and I can't change to that. Is there a setting somewhere where I can make it stay in my inbox on the server.Â
I was a Blackberry user before I just got the iphone and that is the way they handled the emails (not deleted from inbox on server).

I sync my iPhone 5 with iTunes every day. In the course of charging. Now, I get an error message advising that mail accounts cannot by synced as the mail accounts are in use by the iPhone. This is new to me and is, frankly, more than an irritant if I have to turn mail accounts off.Â

I wondered if there is someone that can help me. I have an iphone 3g and have my aol email account set up on the phone. It was working fine before I went away on holiday but since I have returned I am unable to send emails as iit keeps saying that the recipient has been rejected as the server does not allow relaying. I did not use my phone while I was away except for texting so didn't change any settings. I have read through similar questions and have tried all of different things suggested (turning off wifi, although it was never on wifi it was using 3g), making sure that both the primary server and the other SMTP servers are set as on and the details are filled out but still nothing works. Originally it was only set up with the primary server ticked as on and I never had a problem with it. I've also tried turning the phone off and on again several times and tried the power off and holding down the home key at the same time.
