I have a new HTC Maple from Wind. It runs WM 6.5. I can manually lock the keypad by holding a button, but I'd like to have it automatically lock. I couldn't find this in the settings menus. Did I miss something? If not, can anyone recommend an auto keylock program?
View 2 RepliesI have htc maple with wind which was unlocked by wind,later I switched to mobilicity with unlimeted data plan,but the date wouldn't work with the maple phone I rested the phone hard reset several times with no luck,I tried everything possible -seting wise-but again no luck,under connection statuts it reads- driver is not loaded-what's the meaning of it? I contacted htc,wind and mobilicity no one was able to help me, have any one heared of this before and how to fix it(step by step) I upgraded to window 6.5 mobile but I think it was ereased when I did the hard rest,how to find out which windows mobile I have on the phone now?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have had an X6 for about a month now, and the slider keyguard on the phone had broken off. The phone is now in a permanent state of saying 'use keyguard to unlock keys and screen'. Obviously I cant because it doesn't work!!
I have tried leaving it switched off for 15 mins, and restating it. This lets me restart the time and date but then locks once the phone opens up. I have tried a drawing pin and paper clip to slide the keyguard without the keyguard but to no avail.
Is it possible to create a "profile" (or similar) which lets the phone recognise that it is plugged in (or perhaps paired with an incar bluetooth device) and therefore over-rides the keyguard behaviour? When I'm driving I use the 5230 as a music player, and it is very frustrating that it locks in the same way as it does when it is in my pocket.I always have the 5230 plugged in / charging to an in-car charger when I'm in the car, so having the screen permanently lit would be good.I can't see a way of making the screensaver / keyguard change depending on profiles. Perhaps there is an app that does it?

Basicall I turn it on and it goes the Nokia screen and then my background pops up but then nothing else happens, if I try to press button, the "Use keyguard switch to unlock screen and keys" message pops up, and nothing happens if I try to unlock it.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI have the X6. The phone rings and I unlock the keyguard using the slider on the side of the phone and the phone stops ringing. Then in order to answer the phone I press the green button on the bottom left of the phone or I press answer call on the screen and then I can speak which I suppose sounds fair enough. But I just think that something is wrong because surely the phone should continue to make the 'ringing' noise until I actually answer the call rather than going mute just because I have unlocked the keyguard.. Am I doing something wrong or is this just how the phone works?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI've had my HTC one m8 for a month or so now, everything has been great till now, my phone won't auto lock. When there's a pop up notification from WhatsApp, the screen will remain lighted till I manually press the lock button. If I leave it on after surfing the net or doing anything else, it won't auto lock either.
I've tried setting the auto lock timer to screen timeout from 15 seconds to 2 minutes. All that seems to do is to dictate the time the screen takes to dim. But it never locks.
I've been googling ard and it doesn't seem like this is a common problem. I suspect it has to do with exposing my phone to a magnet.
My wife is a teacher so her phones ringer is off during school hours. The problem is that she forgets to turn it back on and when I need to get in touch, no dice. Is there a way to have the ringer auto turn off at say 7am and auto turn back on at 4:30pm? Its a HTC One.

i got an 4s for my mom on early january. the phone was ok until end of march, the phone keep auto shutting down and have to get hard reset to on (sometimes hard reset not working, and have to plug to pc sync with itunes to restore). after got this auto off problem, i called the carier company, they asked me to update ios 5.1, but problem still. i read some threads here and online, and understand that if got panic.plist have to get replacement.however, after i restore (N times), sometimes panic.plist not show up (but the phone still will auto off). just because i'm signing plan with malaysia's mobile carier, i couldn't get replacement on the spot, and some asked me to wait till they call, some even told me to leave the phone to them about month to get replacement.

From the past 2 months i had been listening a buzzing sound from my device whenever i tried to use the camera and now the auto-focus feature has completely gone along with that buzzing thing.Can anybody please provide me the solution for this issue or I have to buy a new phone of some other brand.I tried flashing Stock ROM .58 and .62 both and ICS too.Tried all the third party ROMs too but its not working in any case.If it is a hardware issue what is the approx cost to get it repaired.
