Jul 29, 2010I was going to put in app section, but there are no quality apps that i found for doing this.does anyone know how to send a sms message at a scheduled time? ie a happy birthday at 12am to someone?i tried textlater - and when the person recieves the text it comes from a 000-0001 number, kinda defeats the purpose.

Sep 3, 2014I Have Do No Disturb setup on a schedule and even when the phone is locked, calls still ring through during the scheduled time.Â
AFter some searching, ive discovered that this was a bug in previous iOSs.Â

T-Mo already has it for $300 and Verizon for $250.I have been on AT&T for a long time now, and I am considering switching to Verizon, but their expensive plans worry me a bit.

Much of the functionality has been incorporated into the OS now, but there's one thing that I can't do - it's basically a secondary DND "lite." I want to set a schedule to silence the phone ringer only. For example, from 8-4 AM I don't want to hear my ringer, but I want to hear notifications and texts (actually, I don't want people on the other end of my various conference calls to hear my ringtone.) I already have DND set up at nighttime, so is there any way I can accomplish this either natively in the OS or with an app?

Apr 16, 2015I want to use do not disturb with a schedule. I had blocking on with my S5 and it would start blocking at bedtime and turn itself back off in the morning. Do not disturb sounds like it should do the same thing, and it does turn on at night, but it will not shut itself off the next morning. It definitely keeps blocking calls. Is there any solution, besides the next software update (I hope)?

I'm using Kies as I don't know if there's any viable alternative.My problem is with backing up the Schedule (calendar?) component.All the other bits seem to backup ok.However, just selecting Schedule (on its own or with other parts) it takes ages 'preparing' and then gets to 98% before hanging and then failing due to some unexpected error.I'm on the latest version of Kies, and Windows 7 64bit (tried on two computers, both W7 64).

It appears that last Sunday's workout is displaying as completed today. This kind of thing was happening shortly after the big software update in March. This is not the only problem I am currently having and I am bouncing around multiple threads at this time. I reiterate, I am happy with the new features included in the recent update, but I am not so happy with the basic functions that seem to have gone awry in its wake.

May 27, 2010My device is pw protected. I schedule my quickpull to restart my phone and I gave it the pw so it can by pass that. However, it does not do that. The phone does not unlock and restart. Instead, I have to manually unlock it and it prompts me to restart. Idk what to do. I want to have phone restarted when I don't need it. As in when I wake up and hop in shower.

For example, it's 6:15 a.m. right now, and I would like to text someone after they wake up today, but I may be sleeping by the time they get up, so I'm wondering if there is a way to schedule my phone to send out a text message 2 hours from now at 8:15 a.m.?
It seems as though there are several third-party apps that claim to do this - and I may end up trying one of those apps - but I would prefer to not install any other Texting apps on my phone, if possible, so I would like to find out if there is a way to do through through Google Hangouts.
I have T-Mobile service on a Nexus 5 running Android 4.4.4 and I use the version of Hangouts that is automatically installed on my phone for text messaging. I don't have any other Text Message apps installed on my phone.
By the way, if there is no way to do this through Google Hangouts, any 3rd-party app that will do this that they have used?

When I'm creating some task or meeting in the calendar, I see them on desktop calendar icon (and reminders are working well) but when I open full calendar and see the day / month schedule it's absolutely empty with no meetings / tasks.

Apr 8, 2012i got an 4s for my mom on early january. the phone was ok until end of march, the phone keep auto shutting down and have to get hard reset to on (sometimes hard reset not working, and have to plug to pc sync with itunes to restore). after got this auto off problem, i called the carier company, they asked me to update ios 5.1, but problem still. i read some threads here and online, and understand that if got panic.plist have to get replacement.however, after i restore (N times), sometimes panic.plist not show up (but the phone still will auto off). just because i'm signing plan with malaysia's mobile carier, i couldn't get replacement on the spot, and some asked me to wait till they call, some even told me to leave the phone to them about month to get replacement.
