Today I have been getting ads popping up randomly. I open fb, an ad will pop up. I open Instagram an ad pops up.. Hasn't happened before. I've ran lookout and malware bytes and everything shows clean.

got an s6 edge and the message "the dock is connected" constantly keeps popping up on the screen. my phone is overheating because of this and its draining my battery.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Galaxy S6 Edge (Verizon) that I just updated to 5.1.1. It has now started randomly rebooting a few times a day. It seems to do this whenever it is on a charger (wireless or wired) and when it reaches 100%, but I have not yet seen it reboot while I've been holding it. This is not the problem where it then starts optimizing apps after rebooting. It just reboots. Any solutions to this (last resort is factory reset)?
View 3 Replies View RelatedEarlier this week I updated my edge to 5.1.1. Ever since I randomly get the error message "unfortunately hangouts has stopped". I have never used hangouts and it has been disabled since the day I got my phone. I tried clearing the cache and it still happens. I use the stock texting app and have never even looked at hangouts. I tried to diagnose what was causing this, but it happens at random times.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI have the samsung s6 edge and I keep finding random black/blank images saved in my gallery. There are are usually about 10-20 each day. At first i thought it might be a security feature that takes a photo when someone attempts to unlock the phone using the fingerprint scan but i tested this and it didn't work. I'm not sure why this is happening and i cant find any other mentions on this issue online.

From googling, it seems it's pushed from an app I have installed, but it should be easy to figure out as I've only installed 2 new apps on this phone that I didn't have on my last phone.
I have the galaxy s6 and i keep getting on screen ads. I hit the multi task buton and it says its under "system" everyone else says its just under their notifications but mine are on screen and are quite annoying.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am trying to root my SGSII. I downloaded Odin3 v.1.85 and clicked on the .exe file, but i get a pop up in Korean + the English letters ini. When I dismiss the pop-up the Odin3 window flashes on my desktop screen for a split second but won't stay up there permanently for me to finish rooting my phone. What is causing this and how can I fix it? Is there another link to download Odin3 that doesn't have this issue?

Cancel Ok
Even if the phone is locked and the screen is off, the message pop up unlock the phone and appears for 3-5 seconds and then disappear and the phone get bac to be locked and screen is off.
I have a problem with my galaxy s5. When I have it plugged into my car stereo using an aux cord every time I change songs it makes a "pop pop" sound like the speakers are cutting out. This only happens with my phone and no one elses.

View 2 Replies View RelatedFor some reason, a error keeps popping up every time I connect to my home wifi. The phone connects perfectly fine and it says it is connected, but whenever I attempt to use the internet nothing will load at all. The wifi bars are there and are full, but nothing works. In wifi settings it says it is connected. On all of the other desktops, laptops, and mobile devices in the house the same wifi works perfectly fine. So, I have come to the conclusion that it must be something having to do with the phone.
View 11 Replies View RelatedSince the start that I own my Galaxy S6 I'm having issues with the phone. The biggest issue is that when I use my phone it will freeze for 1/2 seconds and then it does a soft reboot.
All my apps/data stays open but I have to wait for like 1 minute before I can start working again.
The weird thing is that sometimes it happens like 4 times in half an hour but sometimes it doesn't reboot for more then a month. Then you think 'finally it doesn't happen anymore' and then from outta nowhere it reboots itself, it's really frustrating.
I've already factory reset my phone and wiping my cache partition but it won't work.
My phone is constantly putting o's into every word, and often just straight up barely types. It also is continuously calling numbers even after I've deleted them from my phone.
I called Bell and they had me wipe my phone and that didn't do anything, so I upgraded the software which also did nothing.
So randomly when I woke up this morning, I picked up my s6 edge and a number of my contacts were flat out gone. I opened up my gmail account that I have my contacts saved too and they were all gone from there as well. Along with that, in my messages it used to link a few pictures to the names of people I was texting, but now all the pictures are gone, even of the contacts I didn't lose. I tried resyncing and everything but that doesnt work because these contacts seem to have disappeared completely from gmail.
All of my edge contacts disappeared too. And again, I literally did nothing, this just happened when I checked my phone this morning.
I get a random notification "skyline" after my phone was updated yesterday, It happens 4 or 5 times a day. Tried to identify by a notification logger but does not show anything, the phone just pings with no led flash... I heard its a yahoo app but I do not have yahoo account or on my phone.
Phone is UK model, unlocked on EE carrier from carphone warehouse. Android Central App (S6 White 64gb)
I have been having this annoyance where the phone would play a sound (it is like the sound the lockscreen makes when you set it to swipe to unlock). I hear the sound about every hour or so, but I am trying my best to figure out how to remove it.
So far I haven't did anything to stop this from happening, I'm looking for some answers to hopefully get rid of this.... I keep thinking that it is a notification, but I don't see one of them.
S5 call the person you are texting? I can sometimes text someone and not hit the call button. Before I know it I am calling that person.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy device is GS6, few days ago received OTA update. Updated phone like usual and all went fine. Few days later started noticing that device randomly restarting. Today it happened 4 or 5 times so far, mainly when I want to unlock screen, after swipe everything freezes and device restarts.
Also when I left phone on charge, come back to it, unplugged charger and phone is dead, won't start won't respond to anything. After pressing volume key power and home button, I managed to restart it.
