Galaxy S5 :: When Make Call Or Try And Take A Call / Phone Hangs Up
Sep 17, 2015i have a samsung galaxy s5 everytime i get a call or try and make a call my phone hangs up, before I can pick up the phone and I push the green slider it hangs up when I go to make a call when I push dial it hangs up and it will keep doing it. and sometimes it acts good and will go through. what do I do?

Am able to do outgoing calls but am unable to pick the incoming calls. even though call receives my mobile am unable to pick that incoming call.. and its saying " Move the slider" what does this exactly mean. also i dont think there is a slider for this phone.Does any one help me asap that one needs to put any default settings for a new phone to receive and speak to the incoming calls.

Mar 14, 2015I have Samsung Galaxy S5. Sometimes during the call I am not able to hear the other person in between the call. I need to end the call and call him back again.
This is not happening always but often I am facing the issue. And during important meetings I am loosing track of the conversation in between as I need to disconnect and connect to the meeting again.

Aug 1, 2010So, it's not the antenna, but instead, I can't even open the phone app! I have to reset my phone and then I can open the app once. So each time I want to make a call, I have to reset my whole phone. This just started happening today, and the phone is 2 days old. Any advice? I don't want to do a full restore because I "restored from backup" from my old iPhone. I don't want to lose all those things!

Sep 21, 2011In the past - namely when I owned the Droid X - while in a call, I was able to press the volume up and volume keys successfully to adjust the in-call volume while I held the phone to my ear. Albeit the screen was turned off, the volume adjustment responded properly. I find now with the Bionic that I cannot adjust the volume while the phone is against my ear and that I actually have to move the phone far enough away from my face in order for the screen to turn back on and allow for the volume to be adjusted.
This causes me to miss part of the conversation, Matt can this be adressed or is there a setting I am missing?

Dec 14, 2015While in a call, my phone's screen will turn off but when I turn the screen back on, it won't be locked. it will show that the phone is still open and I can use it freely without putting my password in.

The bar at the top of the screen is green and my call is still active, but dragging down the screen shows no menu to hang up, mute, or speaker like it did in the past. Also I hit the recent programs button and there's no window for my call. I hit the phone button and there's nothing. The call will still show up in the log once we hang up. I literally cannot hang up without shutting off my phone. I can't mute my microphone or toggle speakerphone.

1. I cant pick up the new incoming call! After swiping it stays on call #1. And then

I thought updating may work, but I continuously get a "check back later Update is unavailable"(my wording) message through my phone,or it wont allow me to update through the Verizon update fix while plugged into the pc.

When I did the upgrade to Lollipop and got a new sims card and gave the phone to the wife.
When a incoming call comes in and you answer the phone, 9 out of 10 times it hangs up as soon as you answer the phone.
