Xperia X10 ::unable To Call From A New Phone?

Am a new user for xperia x10 mini mobile. Am able to do outgoing calls but am unable to pick the incoming calls. even though call receives my mobile am unable to pick that incoming call.. and its saying " Move the slider" what does this exactly mean. also i dont think there is a slider for this phone.Does any one help me asap that one needs to put any default settings for a new phone to receive and speak to the incoming calls.

Cant call anybody and then friends try to call me they get my answer mashine.Reinstalled the software, but it didnt help.SMS is working fine.Have tryede my card in another phone, and then it worked fine.

AT&T x 10a unbranded generic upgrade x10aUnable to disable call forwarding when busy (when using phone in any way out side of home screen automatically forwards calls to voicemail.Tried dialing #24# and says "connection problem or invalid MMI codeWent into call settings, call forwarding, and tried disable Forward when busy and get "Call settings error: unexpected response from network"According to online support the screen after call settings is supposed to say GSM settings, then call forwarding. However mine just says "other call settings" and for voicemail settings it just says "my carrier". The only other spot I see GSM settings is under Mobile Network settings, Network Mode: GSM/WCDMA Preferred is checked. I tried changing it to GSM, but it didn't help, and the "H" that has been showing up changed to an "E". ( "H" is supposed to mean 3G+ from what I've gathered)

So, it's not the antenna, but instead, I can't even open the phone app! I have to reset my phone and then I can open the app once. So each time I want to make a call, I have to reset my whole phone. This just started happening today, and the phone is 2 days old. Any advice? I don't want to do a full restore because I "restored from backup" from my old iPhone. I don't want to lose all those things!

In the past - namely when I owned the Droid X - while in a call, I was able to press the volume up and volume keys successfully to adjust the in-call volume while I held the phone to my ear. Albeit the screen was turned off, the volume adjustment responded properly. I find now with the Bionic that I cannot adjust the volume while the phone is against my ear and that I actually have to move the phone far enough away from my face in order for the screen to turn back on and allow for the volume to be adjusted.
This causes me to miss part of the conversation, Matt can this be adressed or is there a setting I am missing?

After the 5.1 update I'm unable to use hangout application through mobile data due to following error
"Unexpected account registration error. Please try again."
I have reset the hangout app but the error is still there.
Hangout is working fine with the WIFI, problem occurs only with mobile data.

This is my first smartphone and I am still adjusting. I do not see that the phone displays when I have missed a call or have a voicemail - all my previous phones had this feature. I find I am needing to check voicemail to be sure. Is there a way to change the settings so this is displayed when I turn on the phone?

During a call, if there's any kind of notification (email or sms) or alarm the phone will annoyingly vibrate which I and the other person can hear.I've looked in the settings and haven't found a way to only turn off vibrate during calls. The only thing in the settings I've seen is to just turn of notifications completely, which I don't really consider a solution since I would like my phone to vibrate when things come in normally.I've missed the simple setting that stops vibration during a call.

In every single call the phone resets the in call volume to max. I set the volume to the lowest in every call but phone resets it back to maximum volume in next call automatically.
It's a horrible nuisance to reduce the volume each time and my ear now hurts badly. Though I reduce the volume each time, the first one or two sounds are still loud before volume reduction.

So far neither verizon or Sony can tell me when my phone will be able to use data while on a voice call. I just spent 30 minutes on the phone with verizon in regards to not being able to use voice and data at the same time. They told me it needs to support Advance Calling 1.0(a verizon specific feature allowing voice calls on GSM data). When I asked when it will be updated they pointed me towards Sony saying they will create and push the update.

My partner and I have just gotten Xperia Z5 Compacts and are both experiencing really bad call quality. The caller on the other end is mumbly and sounds far away and during the call it jumps from being really loud to really soft, and the whole time unclear.

Since a few days when I call somebody I can hear only with a headset. Also when I make a phone call, I hear no dial tone. When I switch to loudspeaker, everything works. Actually I'm runing Lollipop on my phone.

i have recently brought a sony xperia z3+. Love the phone and everything is fine. Until a day or two ago. Everytime i make a call the screen goes dark. I can't have access to the speaker or mute button or the dial buttons nothing. Until i press the power button which then terminates the call.
