Xperia Z3 :: Phone Will Be Able To Use Data While On A Voice Call
Oct 21, 2015
So far neither verizon or Sony can tell me when my phone will be able to use data while on a voice call. I just spent 30 minutes on the phone with verizon in regards to not being able to use voice and data at the same time. They told me it needs to support Advance Calling 1.0(a verizon specific feature allowing voice calls on GSM data). When I asked when it will be updated they pointed me towards Sony saying they will create and push the update.
How can I fix this issue, when some calls me or I make a call the other side can't hear me well its like deep voice but if I make it loudspeaker can hear me normally no issue. The phone is new Z5 premium.
when I phone someone or visa versa, I cannot hear anything whatsoever but they can apparently hear me.
I haven't dropped the phone, or done anything out of the ordinary. Checked all the settings and they are fine.
Ringtones work and other sounds on the phone work fine but I have the feeling it might be the internal speaker. =/ I have found that I can put a person on speaker phone and I can hear them but when I take it off I can't!
their echo during any call, overall speaking quality is very bad. No one can't hear me form my xperia z2 and I have latest firmware update 23.1.a.1.28 is a problem hardware or software.
i just bought a few days ago. But i got problem when voice call. Within minutes it will disconnect seems no line at all..but i try using another phone and call the same number, its functioning..no disconnect..means providers line got no problem..2nd thing about my 4k video..cant record more than 5 minutes. It will appear "too hot, need to close"..
I have a few questions about how to update maps and voice guidance data on my phone. I have US maps installed on my phone. Let's say they come out with an updated version of the US maps. How will Maps Loader (s/w installed on my PC) know of the update? Does the Maps Loader software on my computer automatically check for updates? I don't see any option for this. Ok, let's say somehow I get the updated maps on my computer. I understand that I need to use Maps Loader application on my PC to load the latest map data on my phone.
When I try to do that, why doesn't Maps Loader application show that I have a version installed already? When I open the Maps Loader app, it just shows what you decide to add on in the 'Selection' pane. Is there no good way of knowing what version of the country map you are loading or the version that is installed? Also, is there a way to specify a name of a contact in your contact book instead of having to type out the whole address for the contact? I have tried typing the name of the contact, but it doesn't like it.
I'm a E72 user together with a Parrot CK3000EVO Bluetooth Car Handsfree attached to my VW Stereo.I earlier used this setup with a HTC Diamond. Back then I didn't receive phone sounds (like SMS, reminders etc) through the Handsfree. Only Phone calls were transmitted. However, with my E72 every single sound is transmitted to the BT Handsfree including Maps voice guidance. The later is OK, but it is way louder then for example Phone Call Volume. It also interrupts ongoing phone calls which is highly irritating. So I've got two questions in hope for help:Anyone knows how to tune the sound from Maps? Lower the Volume? Is there a way to stop sound like alerts, reminders, bleeps etc on the E72 to be delivered to BT Handsfree? Is there a way to stop Maps interrupting Phone Calls?
How do I answer incoming messages on my LG 3.0? When calls come in and the phone is ringing I tap or swipe ANSWER, but the call goes directly to voice mail.
Use my wife's Z2 for a while and wanting to buy but fortunately didn't because the phone been having call quality issue as in the other party can't hear clearly, sound muffled or voice breaking up. Send the phone for repair 3 times! Sony service center even change mother board and casing but voice quality is ok sometimes but break up most of the time. My sister's Z2 though she say got not issue but at times voice sound distance too.
Mic issue with the 1520 for those who don't know, certian 1520 have a issue wit the mic when on a phone call. it only works with bluetooth hands free, but the weird thing is the mic works on cortana and on the voice record, weird, I perfer to use my bluetooth but I wan a 100% working phone
Recently I frequently receive the notification "Restricted access changed" along with "Voice call service blocked". I really don't know what cause such notifications and it is very annoying.  Moreover, when such notifications are received, the signal drops off at the same time. I can't make any phone call or receive any call.
I did update the firmware to 4.4, but the problem still exists.
If I wanna video call by using 3G through data. How to make it call? I had try many ways but still doesn't work. Is there no 3G calling for Xperia neo?
Cant call anybody and then friends try to call me they get my answer mashine.Reinstalled the software, but it didnt help.SMS is working fine.Have tryede my card in another phone, and then it worked fine.
Both mine and my wife's 6p's are not able to access the internet while a call is in progress. My phone is unlocked & rooted, however my wife's is complete stock so I know that can't be the issue. I've also tried disabling the "enhanced" calling with LTE under cellular networks on both devices and this doesn't fix the issue, either.
After going into my Verizon online and adding the Advanced calling 1.0 feature to my line, then rebooting my phone, and waiting a few minutes, things automatically started working.
Is there any way to configure your blackberry so that it sends a missed all notice/phone number or sends the voice mail message if the caller leaves one to outlook.
I have a Sony Xperia Z5 compact that has worked well the 1.5 months I have had it. But the last few days I am having issues with it. Â When people are phoning me, I can hear it ring once, and then it rejects it. The people phoning all say they get told that the phone is busy on another line and are being sent directly to voice mail. Â This problem has been ongoing the past 4 days. I receive about 1 in every 20 phone calls. Â I have tried to change from 4G to 3G and to GSM, but that did not work.
I am a Sony Xperia Z5 user. I have problem while i am talking in phone the incmoming voice are too high. There is any shortcut available that could reduce the volume?. I know one option that volume botton can reduce while talking.
Whenever I try to use voice input with any application installed, the feature does not work with my phone, I get a box, displaying connection problemak againI have enabled the voice input, in the settings of NeoV. Though I did not see this working.
None of my apps download anything when the phone is locked. Eg, whatsapp, viber etc.
1. Removed all battery saving apps 2. Stamina is turned OFF 3. Background data restriction is OFF 4. Wi-Fi is ON, even while phone is asleep 5. Said apps are set to correct options for notifications, sound, downloading. 6. No change after upgrading the OS months ago 7. Heaps of Googling to try and find an answer.

So I just been upgrading my Xperia Z2. The phone was on Android 4.4.2 when I used the Backup & Restore application to backup my System apps data, and some of my Downloaded apps with data. I had to upgrade to 4.4.4. I think it was a mistake that I didn't make a backup on 4.4.4 as well. Now I've upgraded to 5.0, and all of my apps & settings were kept, but I wanted to start clean, so I did a factory reset. Â Now when I'm trying to use the Backup & Restore app again to Restore the backup file I made on 4.4.2, a window pops up saying "Cannot restore, Selected backup records cannot be used due to incompatible software versions. Please select a more recent backup file."
I recently sent in my Xperia Z2 because of a mechanical problem. So like I was told, I saved my data, so I wouldn't lose any data. But now I tried to restore my saved data but it won't work somehow because it tells me, that I have the wrong device connected, although I do have the right device connected.
