May 21, 2015How to get the calendar to sync with your Google account or Samsung account? When I first updated my Galaxy s5 to lollipop, my calendar didn't sync over after I FDR. Then when I switched to the Galaxy s6, my calendar again didn't sync. Any settings I'm missing? I do have sync calendar in both Google and Samsung account enabled but it's not carrying over.

Jul 9, 2014Kies 3 always crashes with an "Unknown Error" when trying to sync my Outlook 2007 calendar. Contacts and Tasks sync okay.
I've literally spent hours on the phone with Samsung (lack of) technical support with no resolution. They are in fact blaming Outlook claiming that this "Unknown Error" is an Outlook error and not a Kies 3 error (I doubt that). Their other suggestion is a factory reset on the phone which I don't want to do or to try another PC.
Using Windows 7 Pro, latest updates to Kies 3 and latest firmware updated today on the phone.
LG G3 :: Phone Not Syncing With Google Calendar
Feb 16, 2015When I first started using my LG G3 D850 I copied all my calendar items over to the phone. I set it up to sync with google calendars.
But I looked online at my google calendar and do not see any of the entries that are on my phone.
As far as I can tell all other things are syncing with my gmail account. The only things I use regularly are gmail and contacts and they are syncing fine.

If I add his google account under the add account it adds his whole google account, all his gmail and every hangout notification also pings on my phone. Is there a way to sync only the calendars? I've tried going into the settings for the google account on my phone and there is no sync toggle for hangouts

Jan 11, 2015I like the Samsung calendar app but installed Google calendar as well and synced them so that if I lost my phone, all of my calendar data would still be on the desktop site through Google. It worked when I first installed it months ago. I just signed on and noticed that nothing but birthdays are on the desktop site but everything that I've entered into the Samsung mobile app IS on the Google calendar app on my S5. I've tried syncing everything through both mobile apps and the desktop, as well as followed the instructions through Google's calendar desktop site.

Jan 3, 2014I have a problem with syncing my Google calendar with my HTC One Vodafone Aus. The calendar I want to sync will show up for a day or two and then dissappears. After it dissappears, my Google account can still be seen in the list of available calendars to sync but the only option is to sync Google tasks. This happens with every calendar app I have tried (Stock HTC Calendar, Google Calendar and Buisness Calendar).
Every single time it will sync for two days at most. I can get all three calendar apps to display the calendars from my Google account temporarily if I clear all app data but again it only lasts a day or two.
Galaxy S6 :: Google Calendar Sync Windows To Phone?
Dec 29, 2015It's been about 4 years since I had an Android phone (back from the dark side) and I am getting our shared calendar setup.
My Windows Google calendar to my wife's Windows Google calendar is fine, syncs within 20-30 seconds. Seems like the sync to her Note5 and my S6 is so slow that to be sure we are getting the calendar updates we have to go in and manually sync the Google account on each phone. This process takes a good 5 mins and is not ideal to be doing it all day long to ensure we have the latest events.
Is there something I can check/change to get the sync to happen a bit more automatically/frequently on the phones?

Dec 2, 2014I just switched from the default Samsung calendar app to the Google Calendar app. Events from my primary Google calendar, "Personal", appear on the Google Calendar app on my S5, but the calendar itself doesn't appear as an option when creating new events or in the Settings page. As a result, I can see all of my events that I enter via my PC browser (correctly under the label "Personal"), but I cannot add new events from my phone to that specific calendar. May 23, 2011I logged into another gmail account on my phone, I did without any problem, viewed/deleted some emails, and logged off. I then re-logged into my higher usage email (the main one I use on everything and the phone is registered with). I had the "Smooth Calender" app isntalled, but uninstalled that because the update happened around the email checking and it started acting goofy when I updated anyway.After I did that, I went to check my calender on my phone to schedule appointments and noticed that my calender is almost completely empty. I checked my calender online under the account email that I currently have it synced to and it is full like I have it. Now the situation is when I enter a calender event online it WILL NOT sync to my phone, nor has any of the repeat events synced.
When I enter an event in my phone, it syncs to the online calender AND to the phone with reminders and such if I set it up that way.I cleared the gmail cache on the phone (but did NOT clear data, didn't know if that is advisable), I checked to make sure the correct calenders are checked to sync. I also went to Settings > Account > 'Account in question' and made sure it was selected.I DO NOT see an auto sync feature anywhere on the phone, and I can't remember having checked it before and didn't have a problem with anything until I did the logging into and back out of my emails.What can I do, or need to do, to fix this? My calender is very important to me as I always have my phone on me and don't always have a paper calender on me.
Galaxy S6 :: Samsung Phone Factory Data Reset On Its Own Then Lost Calendar Sync Performance
Aug 25, 2015My quite new (3 weeks) S6 did a factory data reset on its own. It happened while I was driving for 2hrs on a highway, with the phone resting on the empty passenger seat, not touching the phone. Lost all data, all apps, all pics. Very frustrating. After 3 days of research (visiting Verizon store, calling Verizon, calling Samsung, internet research), the possible cause may the following:
About 2-3 hours before driving, the phone did a scheduled automatic update, which took more than 30 min to complete. This all happened in a signal-weak area. Tech support said, although the update completed, it may have had some flaws, and when the phone detects that, it may resort to a factory data reset to avoid greater functionality problems.
Unfortunately, the end result included functionality problems, most notably that the phone calendar only synched partially (!!) with my desktop Outlook calendar, and promptly I missed two important appointments.
When a scheduled update comes your way, make sure you backup all contacts, photos, data etc, before allowing an update to perform.
Samsung :: SGH-t749 Sync Outlook Calendar With Phone Calendar Memory Gets Low
Feb 23, 2010Samsung SGH-t749 using New PC Studio ver. 1.2.0 IEC. When I try to sync Outlook Calendar with the phone calendar it runs out of memory. I don't know if it is using the internal mem., but I don't see a way to direct it to use the SD card. It also mentions that it is getting email info from Outlook. Does this mean that it is also syncing the address book? I only want to keep the calendar on the phone synced. Anyone have any input?

Aug 24, 2014I got my s5 in July, VZW update installed a couple weeks ago. I'm really not sure if my problem started before or after the update, since I just noticed it.
When my calendar syncs, all calendar info entered via PC comes into my phone. NONE of the events that I entered on my phone are shared back to my PC, or to my husband's phone. I tried downloading google calendar instead of stock calendar, but same problem exists.
I have checked settings IN the calendar app, tried rebooting the phone, verified sync settings via SETTINGS> ACCOUNTS> GOOGLE, tried removing and then adding my google account. Is there some hidden privacy button that I may have accidentally clicked?
This problem occurs regardless of which calendar app I'm using.

Jun 6, 2015For some reason I can't find a way to sync Facebook Calender with S Planner. I tried the following with no success:
1) Go to S Planner > Manage Calenders > Add Account. Facebook is not there.
2) Go to Facebook app > Settings > App Settings > Sync Contacts > Sync with existing contacts. All it does is syncing Facebook contacts with the phone's contacts.
That's pretty frustrating as it was so easy to do with my HTC One M8.

Nov 3, 2014I like the layout of the calendar app on the Z3 but I have one issue. The app syncs fine with my Google calendar (on my pc) with the exception that it doesn't sync imported calendars (like football team fixtures, MotGP calendars etc) unless I also install Google calendar on my Z3. If I delete Google calendar the imported calendars disappear.

Apr 27, 2012I Just purchased the Experia Neo V, installed the Sony PC Companion application and copied all my Outlook contacts from my PC to the phone using Contact Setup. Now it is automatically syncronized to my phone via my Google account I cannot however sync my Outlook calendar via PC Companion. When I run Sync Zone it produces an error message (no explanation just error) and the Calendar sync is canceled. The contacts are synced successfully.

Feb 1, 2015I have BMW X5 (produced in 2014) and enjoyed seeing/searching all my contacts in the car transferred via bluetooth while I was using iPhone. Now I switched to Nexus 6 and my contacts no longer show in BMW, while bluetooth pairing was successful. I can make calls in the car, receive calls in the car, see my sms messages on the car screen, etc. The only option that is missing is contacts view and search.
