A few days now into setting up my new Galaxy S2 and now I want to put my music onto the phone. There seems to be a number of solutions out there for syncing with iTunes.Any thoughts on which is the best one to choose (ease of use, reliability etc)?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just got a new 32 gig micro sd card. I tried to use media monkey to sync my music to it, it did a few then stopped. Phone needs to be rebooted as mtp application seems to lock it up.I then tried the same via the Kies program and the same happened, did a few more this time, maybe 5 albums then just 4 songs then stops and phone has hung again.

View 6 Replies View RelatedHow to get the calendar to sync with your Google account or Samsung account? When I first updated my Galaxy s5 to lollipop, my calendar didn't sync over after I FDR. Then when I switched to the Galaxy s6, my calendar again didn't sync. Any settings I'm missing? I do have sync calendar in both Google and Samsung account enabled but it's not carrying over.

Then, I tried to sync my Outlook account, but it keeps failing?My outlook is my own privtae Outlook (Pop3) account from home - so not on a work server or network. I've entered all the details, passwords, pop & smtp, etc. but it won't work?nyone got any ideas on how I can complete this? I want to pick up my Outlook emails on the go as it's my main contact email for business and 1000's of people have this address. (Not worried about my contacts or anything just yet, I can always merge these to a Gmail account, but I'm lost without my email.

View 3 Replies View RelatedKies 3 always crashes with an "Unknown Error" when trying to sync my Outlook 2007 calendar. Contacts and Tasks sync okay.
I've literally spent hours on the phone with Samsung (lack of) technical support with no resolution. They are in fact blaming Outlook claiming that this "Unknown Error" is an Outlook error and not a Kies 3 error (I doubt that). Their other suggestion is a factory reset on the phone which I don't want to do or to try another PC.
Using Windows 7 Pro, latest updates to Kies 3 and latest firmware updated today on the phone.
Trying to add music to s6 by drag and drop and when i try a drop it into music folder get the no entry system so will not let me add music from itunes.

View 4 Replies View Relatedi am stuck in a tricky situation and would things first i know this is quite a frequently asked question as i have done a bit of searching on the net about it however could not not find anything that totaly matches myproblem, i have recently purchased a brand new laptop which runs windows 7 compared to my old desktop which ran XP, i have tried syncing all of my iphone 4s contents onto my new laptop's itunes library including everything not just music or videos and i got the infamous pop up "The iphone is synced with another Itunes library. Do you want to erase this iphone and sync with this Itunes library" the problem is that my original itunes library does not exist no more as my desktop was completly wiped and had XP redownloaded onto it again because it had a virus, which also wiped all of my hard drive so i cant even get everything i backed up off of my phone from it, i have managed to sign in to the itunes store and allowed my laptop to work with itunes,i have also transferred my purchases from my phone to my new itunes library but this only includes my apps and obviously not my contacts and photos and everything, i still get the pop up if i go to sync my apps from my library anyway, is there any way i can delete my original itunes library without it even existing anymore so that i can just start afresh and sync everything i have on my phone now directly to my new itunes library? or do i need to purchase this iphone rip/backup/store software that everyone goes on about or something? to be honest its really annoying my now as i just want to be able to sync everything like how i used to,

I lost many of my apps (330 apps and 32 folders), Why its so complicated for Apple to open more than 11 Pages on iOS 5.1?
When restoring iPhone to factory defaults, the same thing will occur...
So when you open Settings General Usage (after a while you see installed APPs) you notice that these apps either deleted (because of syncing), or got hidden(icons disappeared)
Is it so difficult for Apple to that? Or is it Apple's Policy not to do so?
What will go wrong if I open more than 11 pages for my APPs ? In my Samsung Galaxy I did opened more than 30 Pages ! Why using the bluetooth is complicated? Why it is not compatible with Non-Apple bluetooth products ??

I have a jailbroken iPhone 3gs with Installous and also the appsync plugin. I have no problem installing and running apps using intallous but when I go to sync my phone to my computer via iTunes it always removes the apps I had installed. A friend of mine doesn't have this problem but he is also using an older version of the iPhone. Is this a normal problem or do I need to install another plugin?

I've tried to reinstall the 4.0.1 firmware, reinstalled iTunes but it doesn't work.I had this problem before when I tried to add a picture to the iPhone - but it didn't let me. So someone said - remove the iPod Cache Folder, so I did and now I can't sync any pictures.What happens is that when I press "Synchronize" - it synchronizes - but no pictures added.The Camera Roll is fine - it's just when I try to add something from a folder.I've tried different folders, removed everything to do with iPod Cache Folder. The picture I'm trying to add is a .jpg.I installed iPhoto to see if that makes any difference - but no .. it's still the same.On my PC it works just fine, no problem what so ever.Synchronizing music on my mac to the iPhone works fine too.
What's going on?
My iPhone is jb on 3.1.2 and I have the latest version of iTunes (9.1.1.12) and for some reason it will take forever to backup or it won't transfer any of my apps from my iPhone. The hard drive on my laptop was damaged so I had to have it replaced along with the re-installation of vista so my songs, pics, etc were transfered except for any program which could not be done. Ibtried to use iTunes 9.0.1 but it said some new file was installed by a newer version of iTunes so it would not open, i tried rebooting my phone, iTunes, and even the laptop but it does not help, I have tried googling it and searching here on the forums and found no answer. So what can I do to fix it, I need a working backup and I need my apps or else I have download about 105 apps which will be annoying and long. I think I heard something about the newest iTunes which I have does not allow jb iPhones to sync.
