Is there a way to remove the high volume warning notification?
With or without root?
Can I manually remove the safe volume warning? Im rooted. Also how about the screen that comes on everytime Bluetooth is toggled on? And lastly, the Google location consent everytime GPS is toggled. All 3 of these things are super redundant and super annoying.

View 10 Replies View RelatedHow do I bypass this warning? It's annoying.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm assuming it's possible to remove the headphone warning when plugging in after rebooting, and also to have the volume stay at the high level after reboot.
Is this easy to do? I'm on vzw, doubt it matters
Any app that can get rid of the loud volume warning when connecting over Bluetooth? I'm sure if I root, I can do it, but not looking to root. I understand the warning is for safety , but the Bluetooth is really quiet for some reason in my truck compared to my previous phones. I need to have the volume set at full so that I can keep the volume of my truck stereo at a normal volume.
View 16 Replies View RelatedHad this same problem on the S4. Whenever I open the Google Music app, for example, and then turn up the volume using the volume rocker, that annoying warning that says "Listening at high volume can cause hearing damage..." or whatever pops up, and you have to hit OK to dismiss it. On the S5 that warning even seems to pop up more often. I never figured out how to disable it on my S4, which was running an older version of Android, nor do I know how to disable it on my S5 running Kit Kat 4.2.2.
View 19 Replies View RelatedHow can I disable the"Raise volume above safe level warning" and set my volume to the loudest volume?
The problem that I have is that the audio is too quiet when using the bluetooth in my car, so every time I have to reboot my phone I have to increase the volume, skip past the warning and then raise the volume.
This happens when I try and raise the volume with either Google Music or Dogg Catcher.
The problem is that due to my work, I have to keep my phone off so I go through this at least twice a day.
I had a search but I couldn't find anything that was relevant to the Galaxy S6.
Is there a way to set up tasker to automatically press OK when the volume warning message pops up?
View 2 Replies View RelatedHaving volume issues with Spotify on their GS6? Today it was lower than usually while driving. And Spotify volume always drops during a notification. Is this just the app?
View 15 Replies View RelatedJust made the jump from my trusty S3 to an S6! I usually try to conserve the battery life of my devices, so I'm used to keeping power saving mode on pretty much always. Since I know it's always enabled, I want to get rid of the notification in the drop down menu that's just stating the obvious: "Power saving mode enabled."
I've tried long pressing on the notification (leads to a system app called "Settings Reveiver") and looking for the Power Saving system app settings manually (only found one called "Power Sharing"), but every viable option seems to have the "Show Notifications" option enabled and grayed out so I can't change it. Is there any way to get rid of the annoying notification?
How do I tie the ringer, alert and notification volumes together.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just updated late night and now the volume rocker on the side only seems to change ringer and media. there is no option for notification. You have to go to the Settings>Sounds to change it. WTH. Is there an easier way? I am always changing it based on where I am.
View 2 Replies View RelatedPrior to updating to Lollipop I was able to easily adjust notification volume by simply touching the volume control on side of phone, then selecting the cog next to ringtone volume. That disappeared with Lollipop update. Is there any way to adjust notification volume other than going all the way to settings?
View 3 Replies View RelatedFor M8 ... How to disable the warning message if i increase my volume with headphones?
View 20 Replies View RelatedI received a voicemail and now the notification is stuck on my screen. i am not able to swipe it away and when i click and hold on it i go to the app info and the options are, set priority and hide content. Both i turned off and when i pulled down the notification bar it is still there. I have read previous posts but none apply to the s6. I read that you should do a system restart, but will that delete all the things on my phone?

View 3 Replies View RelatedThe volume warning that pops up when you are plugged into the headphone jack with the volume at 30. The fact that it automatically turns my volume down to 13 is maddening! And it does this at a seemingly random interval.
Any way to turn this super ridiculous "feature" off? It never fails that I'm listening to music, or a podcast, through my portable stereo plugged into the aux jack, and lets just say I was changing spark plugs in a Jeep (hypothetically speaking of course) and I couldn't get to the phone to turn it back up and dismiss the nanny message... Even if I had a set of headphones plugged in, who is Nokia to tell me at what level I can have the volume set?
Why is it showing this warning sign in the notification bar?

The text: The mailbox (my corporate e-mail account) is almost full. You should remove some emails from the box as soon as possible to prevent losing any future mail, or ask the admin to upgrade your account to have a larger quota. This mailbox is currently 91.94% (45.97/50.00 Megs) full. Also should I periodically clean /restore my mailbox in the blackberry or it is being automatically deleted after some date?

I was only able to find one thing from an S5 question and the solution was unchecking a setting while in safe mode? How to do that on the S6 but i don't really want to have to if i can avoid it. I'm on AT&T btw and am running 5.1.1.
For the past a month my phone has been heating up more than usual. No overheating warning or random restarts. I played hearthstone and other graphic intensive games and my cpu temp spikes up to 75c then goes back to 60c+ (using Cpu Temperature Pure). I started using the app when I felt that the device is getting hot. I am a noob at all of this and I want to know is the app giving me the right numbers? Any other way that I can check if my device is having hardware problems?

I have checked my security updates and it's all up to date. Is this a problem on my end or is it the how the exchange is set up to screw over android users at work? I have checked for a notification while doing it by scrolling down from the top and nothing is there.
On my new SGSII Skyrocket from AT&T, the battery indicator is inaccurate. From my observation, when I fully charge my phone and then take it off the charger, the battery indicator stays at 100%, even after some use. I was not able to reliably determine when it finally realizes the battery isn't fully charged, but most importantly this incorrect "fully charged" reading impacts the phones ability to recharge - since it thinks its fully charged it wont recharge! This is not a bug in the battery app, I tried a few, so I think it is a firmware bug.The workaround is to power cycle the phone after a little use, it starts back up with a correct battery reading and will recharge the battery when you plug it in.My battery life is about 4 hours, btw, so I'm constantly recharging....

View 2 Replies View RelatedI tried to flash the newest Vodafone firmware (PDA G920FXXU3QOJQ, CSC G920FVFG3QOJQ, Modem G920FXXU3QOJQ) on my G920F using Odin.
The first ROM i tried was corrupted and didn't pass the md5-check, so i downloaded a new one from samdownloads.de and tried again.
Odin shows the usual messages until hidden.img is written, after that it says "Complete (write) operation failed" and, after reboot, leaves me with a warning screen reading
"An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software."
I can power it down and reset with power+vol down, but it only gets to the same turqoise screen again and thats it. If I press the combo immediately, i can get into d/l mode, also.
Just checked a second time, failed again, now i am stuck with a phone that doesn't power off anymore. Waiting for the battery to die is not an option, just charged it, around 95% full. I suppose i have to flash a new bootloader? My TWRP is also gone, bad news. Do I have to install modem, bootloader and pit file now?
I have the BB Bold 9000, with the latest update of facebook and os 5
The problem is that I get notifications for facebook on the screen, but when I go to see the ''unread'' there is none. I re-check the latest notifications, and can't remove it either.
I use google play to download an application but my wifi connection got lost before the download started, so a "ongoing notification appeared, but I cannot remove the ongoing notification on my xperia ray, I cannot also see it on the manage application list.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a new LG G4 and I can't seem to turn off or turn down notification sound. You cannot turn down the volume of notifications without turning down the volume of your call ringtone. It's such a basic thing to do, but I can't figure it out. I decided I'd load a ringtone of Silent or None but Verizon's LGG4 does not have that option, again very poor design. While trying to load another ringtone, I went to settings, apps, sound, and hit the small + sign to load a new ringtone and was greeted with another one of those "Do you want to use this action, or that app, or whatever" and then the option "always" or "Just once" and without thinking I chose "Always" now I can't get to the media browser? I tried to clear defaults but can't find the sound app that controls this? Where is this setting?
