I use google play to download an application but my wifi connection got lost before the download started, so a "ongoing notification appeared, but I cannot remove the ongoing notification on my xperia ray, I cannot also see it on the manage application list.

Camera seems to work fine with flash off but if i try to use the fill flash or auto flash this happens.
In notification area - there is shown signal strength per sim card + number of sim card. This is worthless because everyone know which sim card has which number. Also in locked screen there is in notification area, which one is first and which one is second. It's all about sparing place in notification area.

I am using some applications like llama, lux and UP which have persistent (or ongoing, I don't know the exact term) notifications (to be not killed I presume). My issue here is that these notifactions are displayed on my lockscreen and it is taking space for nothing.
Before I was using "slidelock", which is a lockscreen app and these persistent notifs were not displayed on the lockscreen but were still on the status bar.
Is there a way to have the same behavior?
I saw this: [URL] .... but it completely removes the notification on the status bar, so I am not sure the app is still running.

The problem is that I get notifications for facebook on the screen, but when I go to see the ''unread'' there is none. I re-check the latest notifications, and can't remove it either.
I have blackberry 9520. Yesterday I was trying to update my phone via wireless update. It showed me that your current version is 5.0.0.497 and new version 5.0.0.1077 is available for download. When I clicked the new update it says "Submitting Update Request" which remains as is and nothing happen after that till today. Rather after couple of minutes a message arrives that Waiting for Connecivity to submit request. Do you want to keep waiting? When I press yes, it happens again and again. And when I press no the previous screen arrives from where I started.

View 2 Replies View RelatedJust made the jump from my trusty S3 to an S6! I usually try to conserve the battery life of my devices, so I'm used to keeping power saving mode on pretty much always. Since I know it's always enabled, I want to get rid of the notification in the drop down menu that's just stating the obvious: "Power saving mode enabled."
I've tried long pressing on the notification (leads to a system app called "Settings Reveiver") and looking for the Power Saving system app settings manually (only found one called "Power Sharing"), but every viable option seems to have the "Show Notifications" option enabled and grayed out so I can't change it. Is there any way to get rid of the annoying notification?

To read or reply to the text I have to touch the Hangouts icon because single or double taping the white notification does nothing and I cannot swipe to remove it. Who thought it would be a good idea to remove the functionality to assign each email account their own notification ringtone? I use this as a tool to know when an email is from my personal account or from my work account. Now I have to pick the phone every time to find out which it was. That was dumb of Motorola. It does so much for so little. I just wish nokia made their phones more apps friendly.My E5 does not have a mobile carrier phone plan since I have another phone that does that. This E5 is set up as a rough duty phone for the phone features such as sports tracker.
For the phone to work with WIFI with Mail for Exchange's auto email retreival, (since I don't have data since my phone has no service) I had to get an old expired sim card from another phone. (won't auto retreive with phone in offline mode)But the phone always displays "Sim card registration failed" and I have to click out of it constantly. Is there a way to remove that notification? I already know that it failed. It's an expired card just to get the phone to work in General mode.

I has install some games either from the market or through the web but somehow my phone suddenly cannot detect my SD Card. On the status bar it stated 'Remove SD Card. Insert a new one". Why this is happening? I've tried to check the card through computer and all the data still there. I've format the SD Card with fat 32 and recheck again. I've install back all the application in the card which I has back it up earlier. Through my computer the card is fine. When I insert it to the phone, is says the same.

With the latest update adding the close all button back, but unremovable, I'm slightly annoyed.
Could we have the option to block or hide the package as we did on KitKat? Or at least move the button so its not right under your thumb.
People shouldn't be compulsively closing all apps, messes with androids memory management.
