Galaxy S6 :: Disable Volume Warning On Bluetooth
Apr 29, 2015Any app that can get rid of the loud volume warning when connecting over Bluetooth? I'm sure if I root, I can do it, but not looking to root. I understand the warning is for safety , but the Bluetooth is really quiet for some reason in my truck compared to my previous phones. I need to have the volume set at full so that I can keep the volume of my truck stereo at a normal volume.

Whenever I open the Google Music app, for example, and then turn up the volume using the volume rocker, that annoying warning that says "Listening at high volume can cause hearing damage..." or whatever pops up, and you have to hit OK to dismiss it. On the S5 that warning even seems to pop up more often. I never figured out how to disable it on my S4, which was running an older version of Android, nor do I know how to disable it on my S5 running Kit Kat 4.2.2.

Jul 2, 2015How can I disable the"Raise volume above safe level warning" and set my volume to the loudest volume?
The problem that I have is that the audio is too quiet when using the bluetooth in my car, so every time I have to reboot my phone I have to increase the volume, skip past the warning and then raise the volume.
This happens when I try and raise the volume with either Google Music or Dogg Catcher.
The problem is that due to my work, I have to keep my phone off so I go through this at least twice a day.
I had a search but I couldn't find anything that was relevant to the Galaxy S6.

When turning off mobile data, each time I get a warning that reads "Unless you use Wi-Fi, you will no longer be able to use the Internet, Email or other apps that require a data connection."
I turn mobile data off and on frequently throughout the day. This message has become gradually more annoying. I think it is bad UX and at the very least, there should be a way to disable it.

It is definitely not due to incoming sms message or alarm clock etc. This kind of semi random noise especially as it can happen during the night for no apparent reason.

Mar 15, 2014The volume warning that pops up when you are plugged into the headphone jack with the volume at 30. The fact that it automatically turns my volume down to 13 is maddening! And it does this at a seemingly random interval.
Any way to turn this super ridiculous "feature" off? It never fails that I'm listening to music, or a podcast, through my portable stereo plugged into the aux jack, and lets just say I was changing spark plugs in a Jeep (hypothetically speaking of course) and I couldn't get to the phone to turn it back up and dismiss the nanny message... Even if I had a set of headphones plugged in, who is Nokia to tell me at what level I can have the volume set?

Apr 26, 2015For the past a month my phone has been heating up more than usual. No overheating warning or random restarts. I played hearthstone and other graphic intensive games and my cpu temp spikes up to 75c then goes back to 60c+ (using Cpu Temperature Pure). I started using the app when I felt that the device is getting hot. I am a noob at all of this and I want to know is the app giving me the right numbers? Any other way that I can check if my device is having hardware problems?

I then click continue and get this message.

I have checked my security updates and it's all up to date. Is this a problem on my end or is it the how the exchange is set up to screw over android users at work? I have checked for a notification while doing it by scrolling down from the top and nothing is there.

Dec 15, 2011On my new SGSII Skyrocket from AT&T, the battery indicator is inaccurate. From my observation, when I fully charge my phone and then take it off the charger, the battery indicator stays at 100%, even after some use. I was not able to reliably determine when it finally realizes the battery isn't fully charged, but most importantly this incorrect "fully charged" reading impacts the phones ability to recharge - since it thinks its fully charged it wont recharge! This is not a bug in the battery app, I tried a few, so I think it is a firmware bug.The workaround is to power cycle the phone after a little use, it starts back up with a correct battery reading and will recharge the battery when you plug it in.My battery life is about 4 hours, btw, so I'm constantly recharging....

Dec 4, 2015I tried to flash the newest Vodafone firmware (PDA G920FXXU3QOJQ, CSC G920FVFG3QOJQ, Modem G920FXXU3QOJQ) on my G920F using Odin.
The first ROM i tried was corrupted and didn't pass the md5-check, so i downloaded a new one from samdownloads.de and tried again.
Odin shows the usual messages until hidden.img is written, after that it says "Complete (write) operation failed" and, after reboot, leaves me with a warning screen reading
"An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software."
I can power it down and reset with power+vol down, but it only gets to the same turqoise screen again and thats it. If I press the combo immediately, i can get into d/l mode, also.
Just checked a second time, failed again, now i am stuck with a phone that doesn't power off anymore. Waiting for the battery to die is not an option, just charged it, around 95% full. I suppose i have to flash a new bootloader? My TWRP is also gone, bad news. Do I have to install modem, bootloader and pit file now?

Galaxy S6 :: Camera Failed Warning From Time To Time
Jul 27, 2015I finally found a S6 with good button and display, but I think I have again bad luck: from time to time, camera is failing and is not related to low power because I encounter the issue at 80% battery level.
I tried factory reset, clear cache and data, and it comes back. But always, the camera is working after pressing Clear all in Smart Manager. If I simply kill the processes using the standard task manager, the camera shows the same error.
if it's an hardware problem, as I read online, why works after clean all operation? I have stock ROM, without root or special app(just fb, dropbox installed)

Galaxy S5 :: How To Disable SMS Pop Up Notification
Feb 24, 2015Last night my phone started notifying me of SMS messages by a new pop up at the bottom of my screen. I use Hangouts and couldn't find anything in the settings in there so I switched over the the standard android messaging. I turned off all notifications and the pop up still was coming every time I received a message. This almost appears like is a system notification, since it is the same style as other pop ups. (ie: "copied to clipboard" when you take a screenshot) I have attempted to attach a screen shot of the notification. Hopefully it worked. How to disable this notification? Nothing has worked yet.
