This just started today. I haven't done anything different. No unknown source apps were downloaded. My pin lock screen will change on its own to the swipe to open screen.

I can not get the "swipe" option back on my Galaxy S5. I had used the WiFi at work one day but decided that I really did not need it so I had turned it off. It did ask me to reset my security option to pin, pattern, etc etc so I set a pin number, but now I can't get it back to swipe - the "Swipe" section is grayed out in the "Select screen lock" section and it says "Turned off by administrator, encryption policy, or credential storage." I already tried to clear credentials and I also looked for the certificate it asked me to install and i removed that as well. None of that has solved my issue. What I need to do to get swipe access back?

View 4 Replies View RelatedHow do u change these? I'm running a launcher that isn't the default, and frankly I feel a bit silly! I can't find any way to change the shortcuts that appear on the lockscreen (important: I am not referring to the 4 apps that mirror the ones on your default launcher's dock). If you don't get what I'm talking about say so, I'll edit this with better pictures etc.

I tried putting face unlock and PIN but after few minutes the phone goes back to swipe to unlock. I don't recall installing any new apps in past few weeks nor installing any phone updates except for app updates for already installed apps

I have a question I just recently got a new Electrify and some how the screen swipe lock has gotten diabled.The only way I can have the swipe lock work is if I set up the security lock with a pattern or pin. I dont want the security lock as a option I just want the swipe lock to keep me from accidently pushing buttons on the phone.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Motorola Droid Turbo. I have never locked the phone. I downloaded ANDROID PAY app last night. It required a screen lock to secure credit card. I agreed and set up a pattern screen lock. I got tired of unlocking phone every time. I went to disable the screen lock and I am NOT ABLE to do that. The security settings for NONE and SWIPE have been grayed out and are no longer an option. I have removed ANDROID PAY and still have issue.

However, I recently bought a new cover for my phone (with a see-threw screen on top) and figured out that I'm not able to move the clock in my lock screen. This little see-threw screen is more annoying now than useful, because it only shows me half of the clock.
Is there any way to move the clock a little up at the lock screen? I'm using Android 5.1.1 and I no longer have the feature of widgets in my lock screen. So it seems.
Currently, my HTC one m7 requires that i swipe the screen and then enter my screen lock password to access the phone.
I would rather that i didnt have to use the swipe before entering the password, but i cannot seem to disable this without disabling the screen lock completely.
I have tried several apps to do this including No Lock and Anti Lock, but both just seem to completely disable the screen locking at all.
Is it possible to change pictures so that I can have a picture for the background another picture for the lock screen ?If yes, how ?

But what I don't understand is that I have to swipe to unlock which activates the fingerprint scanner and then I have to scan. View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm going to buy S6 but I would only go for the unlocked/non-carrier version so I'm still waiting. During the time, I try S6/edge several times at Bestbuy and did find something very strange when I swipe the screen left or right. I didn't realize it's the problem(actually I was thinking my finger was too dry) until I tried the S5 right next to it and didn't find anything wrong.
It happens when you swipe left back to Homescreen from magazine app(Flipboard integrated). It's playing animation and don't let you do anything during this animation. So basically if you swipe left twice quickly, it is supposed to go to the second screen on the right but it didn't. That works fine on S5 but not on S6. On S6 the second swipe(or any extra swipe after that but before the animation is over) didn't work and didn't react to your finger until the animation is played completely. I am not sure if it's the problem of display phones or a general problem.
I'm guessing an e-mail account or something was taking over security settings?

I went back in to change it back to swipe but it is no longer an option. It says it is turned off by administrator, encryption policy or credential storage.
