I have tried resetting the keyboard settings and restarting my phone but nothing seems to work up until now.
It seems that in order to use the other language I have to cancel out English.
All of a sudden i cant swipe over the space bar to change typing language
I tried to delete all extra languages and restart then install another one
Nothing happens when i swipe over the space bar. This happened all of a sudden, no updates nothing changed...
I have a nokia 808 PV with only 2 selectable languages for the keyboard.How do I add more? I specifically need French.

I'm mute & 1 handed, so i talk with my phone.. It isn't fun having to sit there pressing backspace 9x instead of 1x then just reswyping. I like the in-house keyboard because of the 1 handed option- it is very nice.. but, if this can't be done with the stock keyboard, I guess I'll have to use the full size google kb...
So I just got my HTC One M8 today. Unfortunately, I'm having an extremely frustrating problem with the keyboard. Whenever I touch the bottom half of the space bar, the keyboard hides. This happens every single time. I installed Swiftkey and the issue is still there. No, I'm not pressing the home button by accident.This makes the keyboard almost completely unusable unless I press the top of the space bar painfully deliberately.

On my Samsung S6 Edge+, the default samsung keyboard autocorrect having issues.....
Problem 1:
Previously I installed multiple languages for auto correct so I could text different folks in different languages, then I decided to uninstall and disable those other languages, but auto correct still has the entire dictionary of foreign languages loaded and there doesn't seem to be an option to remove those other than word by word as I type...
Problem 2:
Since my phone is synced with my gmail, whenever I start typing any words, it will suggest random people's email addresses in the autocorrect which I can't seem to disable. I am not even typing in the "To" field of any email either, just googling things or texting.
I checked my contacts list on gmail but that's empty. It seems to just have memorised every single person I ever emailed even 10 years ago. Short of deleting those old emails, how do I get rid of those email address suggestions from my autocorrect?
Again, there doesn't seem to be an option to turn those email suggestions off and I can't even delete these ones from the autocorrect list - doing so says "are you sure", I confirm, and next time I start typing a few characters, that same email address gets suggested again!
This just started today. I haven't done anything different. No unknown source apps were downloaded. My pin lock screen will change on its own to the swipe to open screen.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm going to buy S6 but I would only go for the unlocked/non-carrier version so I'm still waiting. During the time, I try S6/edge several times at Bestbuy and did find something very strange when I swipe the screen left or right. I didn't realize it's the problem(actually I was thinking my finger was too dry) until I tried the S5 right next to it and didn't find anything wrong.
It happens when you swipe left back to Homescreen from magazine app(Flipboard integrated). It's playing animation and don't let you do anything during this animation. So basically if you swipe left twice quickly, it is supposed to go to the second screen on the right but it didn't. That works fine on S5 but not on S6. On S6 the second swipe(or any extra swipe after that but before the animation is over) didn't work and didn't react to your finger until the animation is played completely. I am not sure if it's the problem of display phones or a general problem.
I'm guessing an e-mail account or something was taking over security settings?

It did ask me to reset my security option to pin, pattern, etc etc so I set a pin number, but now I can't get it back to swipe - the "Swipe" section is grayed out in the "Select screen lock" section and it says "Turned off by administrator, encryption policy, or credential storage." I already tried to clear credentials and I also looked for the certificate it asked me to install and i removed that as well. None of that has solved my issue. What I need to do to get swipe access back?
