My GS6 is not connecting as a BT media player in my car. I have a 2010 Lexus IS250 with the stock head unit.
The phone connects and I can make and receive calls via the in-car bluetooth.
However, it's not connecting as a media player.
I've repaired several times and have paired separately as a media player and phone but it won't keep the BT media player pairing.
And then play either certain albums or just random shuffle play all.

I made a voice note in media to try it out and then when I deleted it it got stuck like that. Its been "deleting" the voice note for hours now and I can't go or use anything in the media section now. The rest of the phone works fine though, but its really annoying that I can't listen to music or look at my pics anymore.
View 5 Replies View RelatedSince updating my OS the audio files that i often transfer to my curve will crash the phone except for the very bottom file on the "all songs" menu inside the BB music player. It is the strangest thing, and very problematic. I have loaded random music files on and switched priority and it is always the last file on the list that works and everything else above will cause the crash. To help clarify some info. The music files are from an itunes playlist and they are all spoken word that range from 5-7hrs each and i have from 2-4 of them at a time. BB desktop manager is the method of syncing and the method of updating the OS as well.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have been having a problem for the longest time now. My s6 refuses to connect to any pc. My first laptop had windows 7 on it and the s6 would successfully connect to it. That laptop is no more and i upgraded to a new one with win 10 installed on it. This laptop along with 2 others windows 7 completely refuses to connect to my phone. I think i have tried every "solution" but nothing works. My phone is rooted with a custom rom and the fast charge also refuses to work. I need to be able to connect to windows so i can reinstall the original firmware for a warranty exchange. Yes, i have all sumsung drivers installed, i have the original cable (and more), i tried smart switch, it still doesn't work.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI am trying to connect a 1 TB external HD (Seagate Backup Plus) to my Galaxy 5 phone. HD is exfat formatted. When I connect the HD to my phone, it recognizes that a new USB drive is connected. Unfortunately, it only sees 196 MB. I loaded the HD with my iTunes music files, and hoped I could access them using my phone, as I have more files than will fit on my iPod. Unfortunately, I can't see any of the files, and my file manager says there are only 196 MB in the drive.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently got my S5 and my data connectivity has stopped working after I took a flight. I had enabled flight mode on and turned it off when I landed. I'm still in the same country. Before this, I used to only be able to connect to H+ but I'm positive that my data was set to enable 4G LTE. My SIM card works on my old S3 and 4G LTE is being used. I'm not sure what's going on, I've tried resetting my phone a bunch of times and playing with the settings.

My most pressing concern, however, is that I can no longer connect to my work WIFI. I had no problems connecting prior to the update. The WIFI is set up where you connect, and then a webpage should open up for you to login to the system. My browser opens, but will not load a page. The progress bar gets stuck on one spot.

But it doesn't recognize my phone and keeps saying 'connect your smartphone' or something like that even though it is connected. View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently updated OS 5 to OS 6 on my Bold 9700 and I was not impressed. OS 6 though smother has cluttered main screen with solid blue highlights - OS 5 is way better in that respect. But my main beef is Media Player. On OS 5 I can copy and paste videos from my computer to media card (without desktop manager) and they all play flawlessly; slider works and I can pick up movie at the point I have left it off. Files are coded for 480x320 resolution for .wmv, .mp4 and .avi. And card was properly formatted. In OS 6 however only .wmv are playing properly. Rest of them are always playing form the beginning and when slider is used video becomes scrambled. .mp4 flies are coded through Nero and are not recognized by BB desktop software. Can anybody shed some light on this issue and have a workaround.I have downgraded back to OS 5.

I've my bluetooth headset to make a phone phone call, mute and voice command. however desperately trying to use it in the default media player unluckily it no music played on my head set. I've tried to activate it on menu , activate headset and it played only on the phone not on my bluetooth headset.
I'm sure I am not the first - but some of my music albums aka CD's will not play on my BB Torch. Adele and James Brown play just fine, but when I try to play Herbie Handcock I get this message.
"the media 01 Chameleon being played is of an unsupported format". And it goes through the entire album saying the same thing for each song. The file type is WMA
