View 2 RepliesI have set up my bluetooth to work on my Ford Focus Audio system. Followed the instructions:
- Paired the devices.
- Entered the code given by the audio unit.
- Confirmed that they were connected.
The blackberry asked if I wanted the phone to connect automatically to the unit (So I don't have to go through the process of waiting for, and accepting a connection on the phone. Drove to the garage to get fuel and turned off the engine. Got back in the car started up and drove off. At this point the phone should have connected automatically like my old Nokia. No sign of it doing so. On stopping I looked at the phone and it was asking to accept a connection from Ford Audio. This is not automatic connecting. Automatic connecting is the phone linking up itself as soon as I get in and switch the radio unit on. So why hasn't this worked?
I have connected my s2 to my ford mondeo and can receive incoming calls, however my car will not read my phone book, it just says 'Line 1' 'Line 2' etc.
View 9 Replies View RelatedToday, I made a call in my truck (2013 F-150) using bluetooth and the Sync system and it was super quiet. I had the volume on the phone all the way up, and the radio in the truck was turned up where it normally is. I later tried another call, to another person, and it was the same issue. I deleted the connection, both on the phone and in the truck and set it up again like it was new. It seems like it may have worked, but hard to tell, since I am just sitting in my driveway and it's to late to really call people to test it.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have successfully 'paired' my new S2 to my Ford Focus audio system, and it makes and receives phone calls fine - hands free. However - the current settings do not transfer my 'contacts' list to the car system. Every time I turn on the car ignition I get a little 'tune' from the phone, and a notification that says (something like) 'Ford audio would like to share your address book' and an option to 'OK' or cancel. If I click 'OK' my contacts are listed on the car system. There is also another window which says 'Do not ask again'Has anyone else had this issue - because I am getting fed up with having to allow the phone and car to share my contacts list every time I turn on the ignition.
View 8 Replies View RelatedMy GS6 is not connecting as a BT media player in my car. I have a 2010 Lexus IS250 with the stock head unit.
The phone connects and I can make and receive calls via the in-car bluetooth.
However, it's not connecting as a media player.
I've repaired several times and have paired separately as a media player and phone but it won't keep the BT media player pairing.
the media volume (for the Music app) suddenly started dropping to mute continuously. i've had the phone in my hand (not touching any volume controls) and watched the volume level drop repeatedly.. i raise the volume, it drops again. this has happened about 6 times since yesterday, i'm completely baffled by this.what's worse, the volume has also gone all the way up to max, so i'll be listening to music when all of a sudden it's blaring full blast in my ears and i have to rip the ear phones out.
View 7 Replies View RelatedWhy does media volume revert to silent most mornings instead of staying at volume i'd normally have it at. I also use Dolphin as my browser and even if I left a page open on that and come out of the app without exiting fully that reverts back to the home screen as well. It might be grand most of the time and then at least a couple of times a week it will have reset to home page for some reason.
View 5 Replies View RelatedJust to be more specific, the phones charges, but if I want to use it as media device, I'm told you have to unlock it, fine, but when I finally get to see my storage on my PC screen, after a couple seconds it disconnects, meaning I don't see it anymore, anywhere on my PC, but phone still charges.
Couple of seconds afterwards, back up again..as you imagine, backing up photos/videos is impossible, I don't have the time to transfer huge amount of data before I'm prompt with a message telling me it has been cancelling due to not finding the file anymore..
When I try pairing and the X10 discovers the Escape bluetooth, Escape displays a 6 digit pin number. When I try entering the code, the X10 does not respond or recognizes the pin. Is there anyone who has successfully paired their X10 to the Ford Sync system?
View 1 Replies View Relatedmy hands-free bluetooth in my car worked this morning.I have a new Ford with the Sync system. Tonight I'm getting an error when trying to make a call. Error message says "phone not found" or "phone disconnected" The error message on the phone says". App_net_rim__bb_phone_app67 is not responding process terminated. Sounds ominous! I have the Bold 9700.
View 6 Replies View Related if I turn Bluetooth on before I get in my Ford Mondeo it connects to ford audio and starts playing media via Walkman BUT if I exit car and go.back in, say 20 mins later the Z3 auto connects, and the media starts playing but I get no sound except the odd crackle, the currently selected track is visible on the car radio screen and tracks can be skipped etc, the phonebook also works and I can make receive calls with no audio problems.
Never had this issue with my iPhone, you could leave the car and get back in and it would automatically start playing from where it stopped when you got out.
Since yesterday my blue tooth keeps disconnecting and reconnecting my Samsung s6 edge in my car.
View -1 Replies View RelatedWhen I had my iPhone I could join it to my car radio to play music through Bluetooth no probs. My Galaxy S5 can 'see' my radio but always fails to connect. Would I be correct in thinking that there are different types of Bluetooth? Its not like its a cheap radio either.
View 1 Replies View RelatedEver since the update late last year that "fixed" the skipping Bluetooth issue I have had problems. Before this "fix" music or podcasts playing via Bluetooth would skip for a fraction of a second periodically. After the "fix" this no longer happens.
My car has Ford Sync (2009). Since the "fix" most of the time I get in the car the phone will not connect with Sync at all. This happens even if I try to force a sync using the phone or Sync. After playing with this issue over several days I realized if it does not connect right away I needed to reboot the phone for Bluetooth to connect to Sync.
I am also experiencing a stuttering with Doggcatcher and several music applications. This stuttering generally is when the player starts but occasionally it stops playing for up to 10 or 20 seconds then starts again (even when playing files on the internal memory). I do not have this problem when using the headset or the phone's speaker.
S6 Edge or regular S6 experienced the infamous Bluetooth skipping issue? Both my wife's new S6 Edge and mine are doing it. Both have latest Verizon update, I have cleared cache partition, cleared Bluetooth partition, tried the keeping screen on trick to no avail. Having your music Skip no matter which music app I use, natter the coverage area as well.

The cars I am trying are 2010 Chevy Traverse and a 2012 Chevy Cruze. Is it the car bluetooth? I found on my search where it looked like others have been able to do it on these vehicles.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and every time it sync to my 2014 Honda Accord the volume sync and plays music at extremely low volume even on max. Compared to almost any other phone like my iphone 4s that sync the audio for my music no problem. I tried turning the media on and off and deleting the device completely off the bluetooth list and re-adding which still does not work. I am using mobilego and it sucks as it won’t let you sort the order of your music.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI was pulling my hair out trying to get media audio to stay connected on my S6 and Ford Sync audio system. I tried everything until I realized I had overlooked the obvious. Media audio would not stay connected, but call audio would. You have to select Bluetooth as the input on the Sync system. Only then will it say media audio connected on the phone and music will start playing assuming you have songs on the phone. So for those having trouble with media audio, make certain Bluetooth is selected on your car audio.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am having a new problem with WiFi intermittently disconnecting. It seems to be happening after the screen has been turned off for a while--I turn it back on and the wifi is not connected--once I unlock the phone the wifi then automatically connects. It happens on both my home and work network, and not with any other devices. Haven't changed any settings recently. Tried to turn Smart Network Switch off but that didn't work. "Keep wifi on during sleep" is and has been set to "always".
Possibly related is that a similar thing is happening with Bluetooth. I only have Bluetooth on while driving, and I have noticed that the connection has been randomly disconnecting, and then I have to manually toggle Bluetooth back on and reconnect the phone to the car.
I used to have the S5 and was playing Spotify via Bluetooth onto my car stereo system which is a Dodge Journey with the UConnect system. All worked fine. Recently got the S6 Edge and now can't get it to remain connected for more than 30 seconds. Phone says Bluetooth has unexpectedly stopped working.
View 24 Replies View RelatedI have my S6 Edge connected via Bluetooth and each time there is a new chapter in Audible or a pause in Pandora audio, I noticed that audio fades in after a few seconds. This makes me lose a little bit of the audio each time. Is there some sort off Bluetooth optimization going on here or a tweak I can perform so that this doesn't happen anymore?
