My media player keeps freezing when playing music for longer than around 30 min its happened every day since I upgraded the software to os 7.1 At one stage it froze said it was buffering and then my hole phone rebooted and I have tried a battery pull but I shouldn't have to do it every day 3 or 4 times a day...
My music player has disappeared from my Media Player folder. I did nothing to delete it. It was working fine I closed it and when I went back to media player it was gone. find it or download a new one. I have a Torch with the latest software upgrades.
I'm sure I am not the first - but some of my music albums aka CD's will not play on my BB Torch. Adele and James Brown play just fine, but when I try to play Herbie Handcock I get this message.
"the media 01 Chameleon being played is of an unsupported format". And it goes through the entire album saying the same thing for each song. The file type is WMA
i'm try to play direct from a website where are 3 players on winamp realplayer and windows media player but none of those are suported what do i need so i can play directly from the website the players are on [URL]
So I just got an HTC one m9, and it's been working fine with my 64gb as card, but a few hours ago the music player freezes and crashes whenever I try to access it, when I unmounted the sd card it works perfectly fine. Is it my card because I have to much music on or something else? Also I'm very new to android, switched from an iPhone 5....
I have just purchased a Lumia 800 which has the latest update and find it very fustrating that My music player will randomly pause and freeze/lock the phone rendering it usless until I reset the phone. This happens when I am using the phone while listening to musicThis issue is not an isolated case and has happened to many people with the Mango 7.5 (just google it). Microsoft were apparently investigating the issue, but this was some time ago and since then still no solution. Why does Nokia release newer phones with Windows 8 but dont solve issues with existing ones.Arrrrrggghhhh! my first Windows phone (after moving from Android) and I am NOT happy...Please don't give me a standard response like take it to a service centre because this seems like a software issue rather than hardware and the phone has the latest version already. So my question is,if there is a workaround to this and if not when can we expect to have an update to this problem ?
i have a blackberry curve and my media player wont play any music, it freezes and when i turn i turn it off and back on again the led light wont stop flashing pink and it comes up woith a message saying Application net_rim_bb_medialibraryplayer(2850) is not responding: process terminated..
Yesterday I was walkin the beach listening to my fav trax, today on sound, no ring tones, message alert tones, when I try use player, gives me error message and something about.wait.let me check.ok says: ERROR PLAYING and in popup says DEVICE MEDIA PROCESSOR IS BUSY.
i bought a nokia c3-00 a month ago and it had no problems, but last night when i tried to play some videos i took, the media player says not enough memory but the sound is there but there is no video.
I recently updated OS 5 to OS 6 on my Bold 9700 and I was not impressed. OS 6 though smother has cluttered main screen with solid blue highlights - OS 5 is way better in that respect. But my main beef is Media Player. On OS 5 I can copy and paste videos from my computer to media card (without desktop manager) and they all play flawlessly; slider works and I can pick up movie at the point I have left it off. Files are coded for 480x320 resolution for .wmv, .mp4 and .avi. And card was properly formatted. In OS 6 however only .wmv are playing properly. Rest of them are always playing form the beginning and when slider is used video becomes scrambled. .mp4 flies are coded through Nero and are not recognized by BB desktop software. Can anybody shed some light on this issue and have a workaround.I have downgraded back to OS 5.
I have over 1200 songs and about 40 videos, some in phone memory and some in Sd card in my N900. The only way I can play them is to go to the file mgr and bring'em 1 by 1. Same with my videos. Any suggestions is appreciated in advance for getting my media into the media player so that it s easier to play them and be able to create play list.
is our storm2 capable to play medai files via bluettoth headset?
I've my bluetooth headset to make a phone phone call, mute and voice command. however desperately trying to use it in the default media player unluckily it no music played on my head set. I've tried to activate it on menu , activate headset and it played only on the phone not on my bluetooth headset.
Since today, it seems my media player is not working. its opening, i can see which all media are there, but the songs are not playing, the videos are too, like stuck. i switched off, removed battery n put it back, no change. i did master reset, no change still. the problem disappears when a call comes(or missed call), it rings. then immediately if i try, media works. once i exit, and retry, its stuck again. same when i change ring tone volume. after i play ring tone, music works, after exit, problem persists.
I am sorry to interrupt but I can't remove picture from media player. When I open song from my old phone there is a picture that I didn't put there.....I would like to remove it but I can't and I even try to delete it but it doesn't work
I use a Bberry Curve 8520, v 5.0.0.592, BIS active...My media player, actually all audio function works one day, then not the following, then works, then not! Everytime is stops working I unplug battery, pull out memory card and switch on.
I recently got my new a Blackberry Storm2 9520 and have it has a problem. when i minimize the position slider in the music player there is a black rectangle underneeth it and kind of get in my way and im not sure how to get rid of it?
My BB used to be able to play the .wav files that I received by email from my office phone system. I just ran the BB updates it wanted to and now when I attempt to play a .wav file, media player opens but then says - an error has occurred attempting to play media. The media being played is of an unsupported format.
I found posts saying I needed to install the BB attachment service but I can't get the option to show in Desktop Manager even following the instructions to download and run the OS on the PC.
I have a 4 gb memory card and saved all my music into it. but i cant add those to media player or playlist. to hear a song i need to go to gallery nd play one by one. wat should i do? In media player> options> library details is shown none... but there is no option to add a library.
Music Player widget shown on my screen: play/pause/rev.fwd buttons and the cover as well. For some reason the buttons and cover disapeared. I haven't installed or uninstalled new software.
I tired to delete and add the vidget again but simply my buttons are gone. The icone link to the music player, however, I cannot control from the main screen anymore.
Why the music and ringtones are together, when I use the media player the ringtones play? Should I make another folder to separate them? If I do this I am concerned the ringtones won't be found and won't play.
I've been having some problems lately with the volume output through the headphone jack when I and using the media player. I found that it is sometimes very quiet, and the only fix I have found so far is making a call (I usually just call my voicemail and hang up right away, after the call is done the music volume picks up), however this does not work all of the time.
I'm trying to add some ringtones to my Torch. They are there and I can see them in the file manager or when I sync to my Mac. But when I go to the ringtones folder, they are not listed. There is an option to select music for a ringtone, so I put the mp3 file in the music folder along with other music files, but none show up.
The same thing happens when I take pictures with the phone. If I look at the pictures folder, it says no pictures. But if I go through file manager to the media card, I can see the pictures.
When using the media player, if you pause a song then quit the media player the song closes and you have to load the album up again.
Is there a way to pause the song and quit the media player, then be able to go back to the media player and listen to the song from the point that you paused it?
I' ve placed all my music ( ripped on WMP from CDs ) on a Micro SD card. When I introduced the card into the N900, all songs were automatically listed on the Media player but without the corresponding CD covers which were treated as images and stored on the Photo gallery. Now, how do I solve that ? Is there a means to force those CD covers to take their places on the Media player ?
http://maemo.org/community/brainstorm/view/videos_not_using_whole_screen/ i posted a brainstorm about it. feel free to add your own contributions, and give the brainstorm a thumbs up. perhaps if we get enough people supporting it, something will be done about it!
