I keep getting this msg when entering my primary email address in the email address field in forms from websites I am logged into with my primary email address, so it is valid. When I type in my Gmail email address it works fine. Never had this problem with my S3. Is it because I am logged into my Google acct on my phone and if so how do i turn that off?

Here is my problem:
Sometimes, but not everytime, when I try to REPLY to an email I receive an error message which says that the email contains an invalid email address. I have scrolled through all the email addresses contained in the reply and can confirm that they are in fact valid email addresses.
Things I have tried:
Battery pull
Renaming my own contact name
Eliminating custom email "aliases"
I am try to add my gmaill account to my Torch 9800 but keep getting a message "Invalid email address or password. Verify your email address and password.If error persists, contact gmail.com."

This has only just caused a problem as her screen froze so she removed the battery and had to re-input the password and cannot remember it. Of course the password reminders are going to an invalid email.I have set up a correct Blackberry id for her now (on the computer) but cannot change it on her phone as the original password for the incorrect email is required!I've tried to google and I'm sure it's simple but have a distraught daughter who cannot BBM her friends!Is the only solution to wipe it?

I set up a new email address on the server and deleted the old account from my handset.Problem is, I now cannot get the new address to work!!I just get a message saying 'Invalid email address or password...'None of the email addresses on my hosting server will work, I have tried existing addresses, new addresses, resetting passwords, sending service books, re-registering device on network, downgrading devive software, data-wiping, upgrading the devic software... the list goes on!I have contacted my hosting provider and they have confirmed that everything is ok at their end.

It doesn't matter which email address I use  I've tried turning off auto fill, cleared my cache and cookies but what else I can do. It is also happening on my ipad at times too. Â

Is there any other fix that I can try.
It is currently impossible to sync contacts, calendar etc with Ovi. The phone shows the error message "invalid host adress". When I do a ping from my computer it shows "ping: cannot resolve sync.ovi.com/: Unknown host".It's petty that so many services in Ovi remain unpredictable.
View 12 Replies View RelatedIn the lastest device OS, the email application on the device caches email addresses from emails you have received, so that when you compose a new message these cached email addresses appear in the quick list along with addresses from your Contacts list. I need to know how to turn off this feature or to at least delete some of the cached addresses. Here's the problem. I have a contact in my Contacts list whose name is Thomas. He often goes by Tom, but I don't have Tom in the Contact record for him. He sent me a conference call invitation in which he used the name Tom to set up the conference. The actual email address is from freeconference.com, but his name appears as Tom. Now if I go to write an email to him and start to type Tom, the cached email appears and I end up sending an email to freeconference.com instead of to his real email address. I'm sure this happens with other contacts as well. Since the real email address is masked in the quick pick list, it is very easy to miss this issue and send to the wrong place.

I entered in error a letter in my email address for my Samsung account, now all it does is ask me to sync, which I don't. I have tried the above, but cannot find 'delete Samsung account' anywhere.
I use Gmail and every single person that send me an email is save automatically as a contact.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI installed the GO Keyboard app because the Samsung KB did not play nicely with my BT Keyboard. But one of the first downfalls of this app I noticed in Google Latitude. If I choose to send my location via gmail, with the Samsung KB when I start to type an email address into the 'To:' window it retrieves a number of predictive email address matches. THe GO Keyboard does not do this.Could I ask someone who uses Swiftkey to try this and see if it works? BTW, the GO KB does predict email addresses when you go straight to the GMAIL app, it is only when you go into Latitude, and then pick 'share your location with others', and then choose GMAIL as the method to share, that it does not work (instead it just makes you manually enter the whole email address even if it is a common one t
