Periodically I use Google Voice on the stock keyboard to text. However I noticed when I try to exit Google Voice by clicking the "X" the application freezes and I can't exit until it times out.
View 19 RepliesAt least 8 to 10 times per day my new GS6 will lag and freeze when changing screens or going between applications. I must leave it alone for 15 to 20 seconds until it catches up. Happening to my wife's new GS6 as well.

Sometimes I am driving and there could be an accident and I need to try and grab my phone and put it in the phone holder in my car then navigate to google maps to find an alternate route by hand. I am wondering if I could make this easier by doing some of this with my voice. I know it is possible to search a specific place after pressing the voice icon manually after launching google maps, but is there a way so I can just put the phone in the car holder then use my voice to launch maps and say what my destination is?

Recently, I discovered that sometimes my voicemails come through several hours after the call. This does not happen all of the time, but it does happen some. It is also pretty inconvenient. I do not want to go into the app and press refresh after missing a call, just to see if I have a voicemail. I did not have this issue with my Galaxy S3 or Moto X. Also, I have the sync, notification, etc settings all good to go.

I can play anything just fine(streaming music or MP3/FLAC/WAV files stored on the phone).When I'm listening to the car stereo itself(CD, FM/AM, etc), I usually leave the phone plugged in. If I want to use Google Maps voice navigation, I'll have to physically disconnect the 3.5m audio cable if I want to hear the voice navigation on my phone. So I just got an HTC one m9, and it's been working fine with my 64gb as card, but a few hours ago the music player freezes and crashes whenever I try to access it, when I unmounted the sd card it works perfectly fine. Is it my card because I have to much music on or something else? Also I'm very new to android, switched from an iPhone 5....
View 5 Replies View Related3 days ago, my phone started freezing very often. I would hold the sleep and home button for 6 seconds to restart it. After a while, it started turning off and on by itself. Just last night it had this lit up black screen. It was totally upresponsive and my iPhone did not show up in iTunes. I let the batter run out and than I charged it. It was fine for a couple of hours and than it started turning of and on by itself. It worsened to the point where right away when my iPhone 4 turned on, it turned off. Now it has a blue screen. Pressing the home and sleep button doesn't hel. It doesn't show up in iTunes either. Should I wait for it to run out of battery like last time? What can I do in the future to prevent my phone from freezing and turning off. Will upgrading it to the newest operating system help?

my bold 9780 on telus has been freezing, and shutting down and everytime it starts back up it does the same thing and shuts down, and sometimes it doesn't even restart, the red LED light blinks 5 times on the black screen. I seriously love this phone but i hate how much trouble its been giving me. And when it is on it either says sim card error, SOS or searching for networks randomly.

Switched out battery with my husbands torch and problems persist. Everything was working fine until approximately 5-6 weeks ago when the widgets began freezing multiple times per day requiring a reboot to reactivate. When the widgets freeze - everything else works fine. I have gone through several exercises trying to determine the cause to no avail. I've removed all of the widgets and reintroduced one at a time, but can't pinpoint any one widget as being the issue. I currently use the following widgets: Weather Channel, The Score, Google Now, Calendar, Gmail and Flipboard.
Getting a lot of notices to wait or quit the stock android browser.. Phone is not full or running too many apps.. I notice the same on my mac chrome also. Beach balling a lot..
