View 1 RepliesSince my S5 was upgraded to Android 5.0.2, my battery still appears to be using power. Sometimes as much as 40% is used when it is switched off.

I have only basic blackberry apps + facebook + whats app + google maps only. Rest i have uninstalled.
I have a BB Torch, which I bought new about a month ago. It works fine except that the battery has now started running out quickly (after about 16hrs from a full charge) , even when the phone is switched off overnight.
I have removed two new apps that I thought might be the problem (Add Contact and Data monitor app), but it has not really made any difference. I have since followed the advice on this Forum to dim the screen and reduce the timeout.

My battery had drained off completely since then the phone is getting switched off n on on its own. tried charging battery by switching off the power . Even on full charged battery the phone keeps getting switched on n off .
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have experienced an unusual problem on my HTC One. My device does not get charged at all on switched on condition even if I change cables or any other charging adaptors. It does not show anything even if I connect to the computer via USB cable. But when I switch off the device and plug into the ac power, first it shows bright red led indicator and sign of the battery for 9-10 seconds, then the brightness of led indicator decreases and at the same time it shows battery charging with battery percentage for 6-7 seconds then led indicator and sign of battery goes off completely.
Again after 4 seconds same process happens. It took about 8 hours to charge the battery from 20%-100% on Switched off condition. I did factory reset, battery calibration (I connected charger for 10-15 mins in switched off condition, then I pressed and hold power button, volume up and volume down button for 2-3 mins which repeatedly restarted the handset) as well but the problem is same.
My IPhone is switched off and still vibrates. How should I handle that problem?

View 1 Replies View RelatedEvery night before I go to sleep I turn off my Blackberry curve and then turn it back on in the morning. However, just lately when I go to turn it back on it won't switch on, even though the battery was fully charged when I turned it off, leave it overnight and it won't turn back on. It has happened for a week now. If I turn it off at any other time and turn it back on it is fine, just overnight I have the problem. The only way I can turn it back on is by plugging it in. Is there anything that I can do? Do I need a new battery?

I am finding very strange thing happening with my Neo V - 1254 2586 which I purchased just 2 months back. Once a battery level comes down to 20% and if i try to do something after that, then it just shows me a warning for battery low and pressing OK makes mobile getting switched off automatically. It wont get restart again until and unless I wont put it for charging. When the phone get restarted then the charging level will start charging from 20% which is quite strange. I already removed the battery, cleaned the points many time but problem didn't get resolve.

How can I disable wifi and keep it switched off until I want to use it again, while keeping other radio services on.
I have pretty bad wi fi reception in my bedroom, however it's just sufficient for my phone to detect it and connect, but it drops out and syncing/downloading/loading web pages is very slow ad often fails.
I put on my SD card some photos to make a diaporama when I saw that I couldn't access to my themes folder. So I decided to reboot my E72 and it didn't want anymore to start. So I removed my SD, and tried again but I had the Nokia welcome screen and after a few minutes a white screen which empty my battery. I tried again a few time this morning and it makes the same thing. How can I reset my phone or make my phone working back ?

View 8 Replies View RelatedMy samsung galaxy SII had been playing up, crashing etc for a couple of weeks, then for some unknown reason, it froze and died on me, never to be switched back on again. It has been well looked after so it hasn't been water damaged or dropped or anything of the sort. The battery was about 50% charged, I've also tried using somebody else's battery, tried connecting it to a PC, tried to start it whilst its connected to the charger and everything else I could think of but nothing. My main problem, is that I've been in touch with samsung and they asked to send the phone to them for repair, but told me that everything will be erased.
Now I know I am totally stupid for not backing up all of my media etc, but the information stored on the phone is worth more to me than what the phone is itself. Although the phone is totally dead and will not switch on, so how I can access my pictures/videos etc because surely it must be still stored on the phone somewhere. The phone itself is not as important to me as much as the media stored on it and I am willing to try anything to access my media files even if it means my phone isn't able to go for repair, I know I am going to receive comments for not backing up my media.
I lost my Xperia Z2 on 30-09-2014 at afternoon. How can i track my phone when it is switched off using IMEI no. or any other possible way. I have myXperia account, and it is not locating my phone. Does any application or software available that can locate my phone. Is it possible to change IMEI no. by using any application.
View 9 Replies View RelatedIt is only charging the battery with the cell phone off . When I turn on while charging, the battery discharges to zero and does not charge more. If I leave off , the battery charges.
Another questions is about the touch. Seems my Z2 is alive. It touches some alone. Open apps, dial numbers, return etc.
I have a weird issue that's been happening sporadically on my Verizon S6 (stock, 5.1).
On about 3-4 occasions now, I've turned off the phone at night, and the next morning, when turning it back on, I've experienced a loss in battery percentage. I.e., Charged phone to 100%, turned off phone overnight, turned on phone in the AM and battery percentage reads 75%.
Last night, it happened again, only I shut the phone off with about 75% battery. When I turned it on again this morning, my battery percentage had decreased to about 62%.
It's odd, and have never seen this before. This has only happened after the 5.1 update, so not sure if its related to that.
Why would a phone that is turned off be using battery power?
I just bought a Galaxy S6 yesterday, and something weird happened. I had it charged to around 75% yesterday in the evening, I switched it off, and when I came back this evening (about 22 hours later) and turned it back on, my battery was dead (0%). It refused to start at first, and only turned on with the charger plugged in.
Since I just got the phone, I had very few apps and accounts running aside from Google and Samsung (no email account, facebook or anything like that).
Is it faulty? I am going to try again this evening, but I would like to know whether I should consider bringing it back anyway...
I have a S5 that won't charge it's battery. The phone says its charging, but the battery won't charge. Even when I have the phone plugged into a charger, the battery continues to drain as it would normally. I work at a phone repair store, so I was able to test it with multiple cords and charging blocks, along with different batteries. I was also able to replace the original charge port with another we had in stock. Same result, nothing.
In the imgur there is a picture I took in the Galaxy Charging Current app while the phone is hooked up to a USB 2.0 port on my PC. Reference and average register 450 mA and max is 460 mA imgur (dot) com/a/6fOC4
On my G3, when I fully charge the phone, it would stay at 100% for a VERY long time before dropping down to 99%. The most I've gotten out of the 1% before was about 25 minutes of SoT.
On my S6, once the phone is fully charged, it seems to drop to 99% very quickly, within just a couple minutes of using the device.
What causes this difference between the two models and does your S6 act the same way as mine?
My S6 phone randomly kept switching to dock mode and back. Tried hard shut down and restarting the phone. Now I have a blue/green screen saying it is downloading and do not turn off target. The top left corner says it is in factory mode. What can I do to resolve this? I am very new to Android phones.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy mum only gave me this phone 2days ago as she got a new one. She's never had a problem with it and has kept it in a hard case so still looks brand new. I always have a habit of breaking or losing phones, this is 3rd one in 4 months. Anyway I picked my phone up and it was switched off but I presumed it was dead as I had left my music playing. I put it on charge only for 10 minutes but I never tried switchig it on as I forgot to take it out with me. I put it on charge again last nite but it won't turn on this morning. The screen comes up white with the battery sign on the right which stops after a minute as I assume its fully charged now. Its not the charger as my bf uses it for his and the phone does seem to be charging. The on button can't be broken as when I press it the white background comes back on. I've tried the hard reset wth the 3 * and green button but nothing.
